Notice from snlildude87:
Was originally in the Guest section (wrong forum), so I moved it here. Please do not post in the wrong forum again. I know you posted this thread there strategically, but it has to go in the correct forums since admins read ALL forums.

I want to know something ... if i host my domain with you .. say 111.my1stdomain.com

and add another domain later 222.my2nddomain.com (as other members tell me that instead of changing the domain name u can add new ones )

will i be able to access folder like http://222.2nddomain.com/mysite/index.html

which is actually http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ ???

Please tell me ...

And have a great day.

Cheers

what "111.my1stdomain.com" is, is a subdomain and not precisely a domain. but if you host a top-level domain with Xisto (example: "mydomain.com", you can use that), you can create subdomains for that domain on your own later (like, "subdomain1.mydomain.com", "subdomain2.mydomain.com", etc. any subdomain name can be created, i just used subdomain1 and subdomain2 as examples.)

I am posting here only to let guests know that Members also post in this are :-D

And to get admins attention, cause i think admin only views these posts.

:D Xisto supports parked and add-on domains. so, yes, you can point two (or more) top-level domains to variable folders (or to just one folder for all domains) in your hosting account. :D

I am sorry i should have been more clear.

I mean can i host two domains ... like http://forums.xisto.com/ AND trap17.org/ ?

Trap17 supports Parked or Addon Domains, so you can get them to create your hosting using...say... http://www.mydomain.com/ and then later add a new domain by going to parked domains, then add it there, then enter, something like http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. It's rather simple once you know where to go. Of course it's confusing if you don't.Hope I HelpedShadow
