biscuitrat 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2005 Well, I would take out the "Layout by:" tag on the site because you don't want to seem too attached to your work. Personally, I think the yellow is overused and the semi-opaque text in the top left corner is hard to read. The buttons aren't bad, but the text area has a different background from the text fields. It doesn't truly mean you're on the road to Julliard or anything, but it's not bad. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Now, I don't think it's that great, but a whole lot of other people have agreed with you. However, I do agree with you that Flash isn't a good design tool to compose your whole site out of. I use Fireworks a great deal more than Photoshop because the lack of filters and brushes makes me have to create my own art - which is what I love best - considering its your first, good work.
