  1. i really hope it works well and i must say it does look nice hell i may even order it
  2. i use amarok, eclair (another linux media player ) and foobar2000
  3. i would say dreamweaver is better but i still prefer kate as my editor and quanta although these are for linux, to produce fully standards complient code i suggest you learn html and go for notepad
  4. well if you go into add/remove programs then add/remove windows components and uncheck internet explorer it will remove all shortcuts EXCEPT to windows update, you can also access it by my computer then typing the url in the adress bar, Noonster22 they are different apps just integrated, explorer.exe is file manager and IEXPLORE.exe is internet explorer they are designed so that a website will load iexplore.exe (the rendering engine) to display the page
  5. god they are so annoying, they really get on my nerves especially furbys, spend ?20 on one then a week later have to take it back *groans*
  6. right for a start IIS is already included with server 2003 i think, then you must follow the instructions [url=http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ to get started, also depending on the type of website you may want, asp.net, php and a few other scripting languages installed on your computer as well as postgreSQL or MySQL for a database
  7. i use filezilla and scftp (tranfer files over ssh)
  8. moondance by nightwish , abslutely amazing song. and while typing this went over to end of all hope by nightwish again amazing song
  9. i would like webhosting, a browser (based on firefox of course) and a messenger as well as for the space on ggmail to keep going up and up
  10. my fave is gentoo, if you can get over the long install times it gives you complete control right to compile time options, imho it is the best linux distro around, if you want i will make a howto that includes a script that you can use to install it, you edit the files you need and the script will run the commands
  11. try an emerge gentoo-sources and remeber that isn't the only kernel, you can get ck-sources (patchd for desktop) vanilla-sources(the kernel from kernel.org) mm-sources (think it's unsupported) and there are more that i can't think of, also i really would edit the make.conf because otherwise you may just as well go with anything that isn't gentoo
  12. i listended to one of their ongs off their website just now and i must say amy lee's vocals are amazing, i still prefer nightwish but they are a close second
  13. the fact that they give me a laptop to use and also the fact that it is mostly laid back
  14. i have used the alpha, it is really cpu intensive, and ram intensive
  15. i played it, then i thought what is the oint, my friend wastes money to get an extra quest or somehting, it is just rubbish
