Thanks a lot. That's exactly what I needed to know. Will my visitors' browswers "refresh" when they initially visit my site when the redirect is in effect? Or will they not even notice there is a redirect. I can't try it yet since my site is not yet accessible through my domain.

The current banner is huge. Your friend should make it extend the length of the page and make it shorter in height. People like to see "content" when they go to a site. Maybe you guys are on higher resolution (im on 1024x768) and huge banners bug the heck out of me, especially that one. It took up half of my screen!

Do you have it so that you have to enter a password to logon to your computer? If so, disabling that may help. If you don't know how go to your Control Panel and click on User Accounts, click on your username and finally click on Remove my Password.This is the only "solution" I know for this problem. I don't have it even though I require a password to logon. Hope it helps some. Later.

I use Cute FTP. Purchased a license a long time ago when I was starting my first site. Then I moved on to Dreamweaver and used it's ftp client. Now I'm back to Cute FTP.

I know how to install phpBB boards but I would like to know how to make them appear in the front page of my domain. My domain is http://brokecollegekidz.com/(dns hasnt propagated yet) So for example: I don't want my boards at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ want my visitors to see the boards right when they go to http://brokecollegekidz.com/ I've never had the need to do this in the past but I would like to do it with this site. I was always very curious about how web pages were made. I remember signing up for a free angelfire account where I put a picture of my ex girlfriend (current at the time) and showed it to her. I then got cable Internet and would surf the net all day. I came accross howstuffworks.com and started reading almost every article on that website. I came accross the "How Web Pages" work article and read it. I learned a few things about web pages. My ISP provided me 50 megs of free space. I used it to learn a few things. I had a "blog" on that space but quit it after a few days. Then I started to look more into the creation of websites. I bought a template for five bucks and signed up for paid hosting (which I can no longer afford) and purchased my first domain name. This was over a year ago. I still have a lot to learn.
