Yes, it can go both up and down. Up = Good. Down = Bad. Think about it, if you were to be banned from the forums then you couldnt post and you need to post to keep your account so yeah, i suppost it may just get deleted if you go over your warn......

I think Php-Nuke because many many people use it so it is easier to find themes, modules, blocks etc. but there are many out there. Best to try them all and see what is the best option for your site.

Well you could download it and do it manually. Or even get a beta version and use that. Beta's are pretty good i think.

Yes, that one isnt the best example though (not your fault, everytime you do it it ramdomises the warp pattern) Everyone! This tutorials is VERY customisable. With the step: You can change the settings. Short Strokes works really well (probably more so than long strokes). If you have found out something neat while customising your work then post it here!

Why dont you use a program eg. WS_FTP for ftp. Your way seems very abnormal but i have seen it before once. Then the site didnt let me load it...... :S

Lol, i frequently use alot of premade templates. But then i manipulate all of the images (because they had the wrong text etc.) so i am good at graphics but not layout.
