Google Vs Facebook different translation methods
Cold Fusion replied to phpphp's topic in General Discussion
Google pretty much is the internet, Many people(like me) dont even go to facebook, but almost everybody uses google to search for information that they need. -
To bad it doesnt let you search "Google" or "Mystery Google", I find it a little disturbing to know what others are googleing...But i guess thats part of the game.

I was considering getting byet host for the time being but i didn't like the names you had to choose from for the subdomains, and then i see this topic. Im definatly not getting byet host now, even though their feature page makes them look really good.

if your on Windows you can use Paint.NETIt has a magic wand tool so cutting out images should not be much trouble. It requires .NET framework 3.5, which you might already have anyway.

The Latest Ps3 Doesn't Support Ps2 Games?
Cold Fusion replied to The Simpleton's topic in Computer Gaming
That's not always true the bluray player might only support bluray since the PS3 games are burned onto a bluray disk. Much like how just like a DVD player can read DVDs it cant write them. The Ps3 people wouldn't purposely get rid of backwards compatibility unless they really had to. -
I've been googling this problem for a while but as it turns out .PAL is assosiated with movies and the word palette is commonly used in palette swaping. How could i use C# to write a .PAL file for the palette of an image?

The Latest Ps3 Doesn't Support Ps2 Games?
Cold Fusion replied to The Simpleton's topic in Computer Gaming
It probably is more complicated then that, the way i see it, what made the old PS3 fat was probably used for PS2 and then the PS3 people thought removing that extra stuff would be an easy way to make the PS3 smaller. -
I have an antivirus but i dont use it, The real time protection makes the computer slower and I go to the same websites every day. There is no point in wearing sunscreen when your not going to leave your house

Have You Ever Felt Like Creating A Game ... And if you have...
Cold Fusion replied to Etherion's topic in Programming
I actually made a game in game maker, it is called "Killerman Kill Them All" Its about a grim reaper that must rekill the spirits of the dead. I meant it to be a minigame with no really big story, like pacman. You can see a video of it here http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ -
There is a browser called Opera that tries to be easy on the RAM and resources it uses. In my experience Opera starts-up and opens tabs faster. The Browser Can be downloaded: http://www.opera.com/

I actually tried to register to that before but the billing service requires a lot of information. Does Xisto ever send stuff through the mail or make calls? Because that would be kind of annoying.
