  1. Sometimes, the fees are so ridiculously high, it'll take you half your life to earn back the money you used to pay for tuition fees. Especially if you wanna study overseas. I'm looking to study either in the US or UK but i'm so tied down because of the money.
  2. I'm Singaporean too but I believe you got that response 5 years ago because our society is more conservative about such things but its different now (well not completely but there's definitely a big difference). I hope you're not getting the same problem still. Singapore is a young country with strong Asian culture. I believe most countries have a much longer racial history than we do, hence they are more comfortable with inter-racial relationships. Also we have the typically singaporean "kaypo" (nosey) characteristics so I believe the older generation especially will have the tendency to nose around when they see something they consider unique and yes we have to admit that its not something really common you see around. I guess they weren't very aware of their gaping mouths when they're staring but i do believe its not a really negative response or ill intent. They're just curious and not very apt at hiding their curiosity. I admit sometimes i will take extra notice of an inter racial couples too but I wont go like: "omg whats this" its more of a "love really has no boundaries and i congratulate them" so its definitely a positive response. Anyway! The younger generations are more open now and i'm quite sure you won't have much of a problem anymore.
  3. Hell yea! lolMe and my guy, we are both so out of shape now. My Belly used to be flat now its bulging like im 3or4 months pregnant. My guy is round all over now when he used to be fit and muscular. I guess when u're in love you just have your priorities re-sorted out and all that exercise time goes to your partner. And of course, when you're happy together you tend to have a much better appetite when someone is there to enjoy all the good food with you!
  4. There are many many reasons but I believe the most common cause will be complacency. After awhile, you take each other for granted and you just don't do things u do when u first started out. He does't give her surprises and she doesn't cook him a meal somethings like that you usually do to keep the relationship romantic. Yea, and people change, and complacency impedes you from keeping up with the changes.
  5. I guess if you really love each other you should both be mature and be honest to yourself and each other. No point denying and lying to save yourself from hurt if you really want something out of this relationship. I guess you should act instead of thinking that giving her priority will spoil her. and you don't even have to beg, I think begging is wrong because if she really hurts to be with you, begging her will only put her in a dilemma which is kinda forceful and you don't force people into relationships. Write her an email. Written words are best because they are in black and white and you can organise your thoughts properly to write what u truly feel. The other party can also read and understand better since its clearly written and they can reread it over and ponder over it more carefully. Be COMPLETELY sincere and honest. Ego shouldn't be involved here. Just tell her what you feel about you and her and how you want this to work out together. Let her know how much you are willing to do for her and explain your limits. However don't in anyway sound forceful, just tell her what you want and what you can give and the decision is now up to her. Thats what I feel will should work, i hope it helps
  6. I guess its just culture. But yea its not very intelligent to insult someone's mum or sexuality - its lame actually but people just do it because everybody else is doing it. Glad you're able to deviate from them. If you really snap someday, try telling them if the best they can do is insult ur mum they're pathetic and should go running back to their own moms for milk instead of wasting their time yakking something unintelligent. But of course that almost slipping to their level, best if you can just ignore them.
  7. Oh no! what about avatars we use? Is my avatar an infringement of copyrights Its practically impossible to keep from infringing copyrights these days. We don't know the sources of the stuff we see online and not everyone can produce good stuff themselves.I do agree with anwiii that its good to let your work travel around the internet cuz its really like free marketing.
