I heard that chrome has problem with flash or java. Is it true? I'm still waiting for linux version of google chrome. Google says that it's team is developing chrome for linux. Hope i can use it soon

Btw, just for in case.. If you're using non-english winblows software, you won't be able to read the text, except you set ubuntu to use the same language as used inside the software. Once I installed a software which is in japanese, and i can read the character only if i set the system language in my ubuntu into japanese.. BTW, i'm still using winblows because some of my school software need to be run under winblows environment.. I suggest you not to delete your winblows first

Could you explain more briefly, what are the advantages of using fedora (in personal or proffesional use)? I still can't figure what good things you could get from using fedora. Is the system resource usage lower than other distro? I still can't understand that.By the way, if you finished installing fedora, let me know it's disk space requirement. i'm going to install my 2nd linux on my notebook, but i still can't decided what would be the next one ;p Maybe I'll install fedora, who knows.

i only played once. i played fallensword. here's the link : http://www.fallensword.com/ i played it for few months with my friend untill i got banned by the stupid mods. the mods think we're cheating by having multiple accounts. but the reason was that we use the same network, we're friends so that we change items for free, etc, but they thought that our actions were similar (or equal) to cheating.. i didn't play again after that. my account was level 50+ already >_< and i don't wanna start from level 1 again. despite of what those mods did to us, fallensword is a really nice mmorpg

AFAIK, those settings are saved inside folder /home/username/ as long you don't delete that folder, your settings will remain there. BTW, you don't need reinstall your ubuntu to upgrade your distro. but in ubuntu, you can only upgrade from the early version only. Means, you can only upgrade to jaunty from intrepid, and after you fully update your packages. if you're using hardy and want to upgrade it to jaunty, first you have to upgrade your hardy to intrepid and after that you can upgrade it to jaunty. hope this will help you spencer

i don't have problem with the cooling system (or i do have but it's not my concern now).. the problem is, when i'm doing game, image manipulation, etc, which connected to "graphical things", i hear my computer becomes more noisy, like buzz sound.. should i worry?

i don't have macbook.. but i do have some problem with noisy laptop. Does anyone know wether this issue also occurs in pc netbook? i mean other winblows based laptop. my laptop also noisy, especially if i play some movie files.. i hope this isn't because it's using intel GMA chip >_<

erm, could we really upload file using ie yordan? i thought we have to use win explorer.. beside, it's not completely free, we still have to buy winblows. another suggests would be core ftp, micro ftp, go ftp.. i really want to suggest lftp because you can do ftp even behind nat firewall, but it only works in nux, mac osx cli, and cygwin. btw, i'm using filezilla, but sometimes my files aren't completely transfered. is it only me? i wantes to try coreftp and goftp, but they only for winblows. now i'm stuck with web based ftp, and sometime use kftp or kasablanca (kde platform).. if there's other suggestion, pls share

i don't think that china government really has symphaty to north koreans. AFAIK, they do have some treaty that if one country is being attacked, than the other one giving support and help. If anything happens and north korea is attacked by US, china will get involved in the war. this could be the real reason why china doesn't want anything happen to north korea. btw, the youknowwho probably want to get some economical assistance (again), that's why he threats other country (again). everytime they want to get (economical) assistance or other rewards, they'll break the aggreement. that's only my opinion

i tried it, and yes. it has 2 options, face and head & shoulder, while google just only face, clipart, and lines. But i don't see much difference between "face" and "head & shoulder" options.let's wait another feature from ding. i'm sure google won't just sit up and relax there. let's wait other surprising features from google too

i think it's already replaced by ding. If you browse live.com, your browser will take you to ding.com it has ding map, a google map vice versa, a google-earth-like app called virtual earth 3D beta.
