  1. Funnily enough,(http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2007/06/08/1181089277018.html)It has been achieved with this light globe from 2 meters away. I have previously heard about Nikola Tesla having something to do with wireless electricity via the ion-sphere of the earth. Something about sending electricity up to the ion-sphere by using a tower then taking it back down. I'm not sure of this but I think there was a prototype made that worked"In the late 19th century, shortly after the introduction of AC power, Nikola Tesla began development of a system for the global transmission of electrical energy without interconnecting wires. Some of his early apparatus took the form of ordinary radio transmitters, much like those used when radio began to take hold in the 1920s. Others were electrical induction apparatus used in a laboratory setting for electric lighting. The "electrodynamic inductive" wireless technique languished for more than 100 years, until 2006 when an MIT-based group revived it under the name "Witricity" [1]."an interesting quote. He had actually discovered a working method for wireless electricity but abandoned it for some reason, maybe health or danger. who knows.
  2. I saw tropic thunder a while back on DVD, it's a really good movie but there are some really gore filled parts. It's funny how they are sent out to make a movie out in a forest and it turns out that there is a community of drug growers in the middle of it. The actors are given fake prop guns and are attacked with real guns. Great movie i give it a 8/10
  3. Maybe I should start meditating, or will it increase the risk of concussion because my enlarged brain would slam against the sides of my skull. hmm. This is a very interesting topic and I should look into it, could be worthwhile.
  4. Hi I only just joined trap 17 today and I have very limited skill in website dev. so far. I plan to make a forum about something very interesting
  5. Instead you could connect the computers together with the crossover cable then go to network settings and you can configure it by clicking the 'share files and folders' check box and the 'shared internet connection box' etc. Or you can use the networking wizard that will tell you an easier way to do it. Press F1 for help.
  6. I use hotmail. it is my personal favourite because of all the new features comming out and the massive mail stroage as well as the new live web page design thingy but this forum does feel very gmail biased so i should proberly go and hide in my hole in fear
  7. but 919Gb isn't really a massive amount of space for a company like Xisto. You can buy a Hard drive that is alot more than that and there must be some income that Xisto is making that could allow them to buy something like thatThey couldn't be making money out of people posting could they?
