  1. Football is definitely the King of Sports at present but it has a strong competition with cricket specially after the success of Indian Premier League. IPL has the potential to outrun football and make cricket number one in this race.
  2. Finally a good news for the Indian cricket after the Mumbai attack. England team has decided to play the upcoming test series in Indian soil after getting the assurance of high sucerity for them. Stephen Harmison and Andrew Flintoff have also decided to be part of the squard which means Englang will be coming with their full strength. Earlier it was said that even if English team comes to play in India, their senior players will not be with them. But now as they are coming here, its a good news both for cricket and its fans.Hope we see a tight series ahead.
  3. When I hear the word Europe, what comes in my mid is the eiffel tower and the other monuments that I saw on tv in my childhood. Another thing is the tasteless food there. All kinds of Europian food tastes same to me. Apart from food, I have a very pleasent image of the continent.
  4. Running!!! Must say that it is the best excercise to build stamina and endurance. But I feel too lazy to do that so have not made any attempts since long. During m school days, we being part of the sports team, were forced to run for 15 minutes daily . This part of the excercise I hated the most.
  5. How about a movie about the recent Mumbai attacks? You can show everything in it: International linkages (India, USA, Israel puttig pressure on Pakistan to handover the terror organizations), global terrorism (LeT and Al Quida), the political developments taking place after the attack (instability in the India government and new deals signed among nations to fight against terrorism), action (fight against the terrorists and the NSA), tragedy (the slains and the victims of the terror). You can also include a love story of a couple held as hostages in the Taj.

  8. To avoid someone, you can either tell him in face about your dislike so that in future he/she doesn't bother you. Or else, you can make the person feel that you are avoiding him by your acts. Now these acts depends on the openness of the culture and the person to be avoided. for example, in some cultures, its perfectly fine not to speak to the person when you encounter him but in others, it may be a huge blow to his ego. But personally I suggest that nothing could be solved by ignoring a person. Its just that you are hiding form yourself. Instead, you can meet him and sort out the issues. If you are successful in closing the issues, its well and good otherwise bring your relationship to an end with mutual concent.
  9. MbaFactory, I would like to differ a bit on this. The average age in China is much higher than India and the situation is going to go worse in the next two decades or so. This gives a definite advantage to India as currently, the main strength of both the countries is their manpower. It is expected that by next 35 years, India will overtake China at financial fronts. China will face the problems that Japan is facing these days.

It is a shield which protects us from all the sins and the evils and also guides and dictates us the ethical behaviours that should be followedIt is the most valuable asset and should be conserved and followed in ups and dwns of life

  21. Ya... its sad and true. we cant blame them as whatever the security BCCI provides them with, we were not in a position to convince them. Taj and Oberoi were also considered secured. Its good for the Indian cricket that the challenger trophy teams were not here during all this. They were suppossed to stay in the Taj.I just pray that everything goes fine in the test series. and hopefully we will repeat success story of the one day series.
