I also only drive on our property, and the only time the trucks touch the road, is when when I have to cross the road twice (once on the way to feed, and once on the way back). I have been driving for almost a year now and have had no problems (accidents). But for me Its sort of an outlet, and I do talk about them a lot, but I have nothing else to talk about when baseball seasons over (that is unless St. Louis Cards win). It helps me concentrate, and I like working with my hands, when I am sad, mad or happy, I like to build or fix stuff. Like when I had nothing to do on the cars, I built a new ramp for our shop. But most of the time, I see something wrong with the trucks, I fix it right away, if I can.

What I'd like to see is that they show more of the games on T.V.I mean, you have to buy the channels, to even see half of the games. I live in central CA, but on our local stations, they don't show any Dodger, Angel, Padre, A's or Giants games. Basically they don't show any baseball games, except for occasionally. Also ESPN Should show more, if that is the only sport, they should show it, not the world series of poker.I do think there should be more games, and a few more double headers, but all teams should get equal air time.

I resent that! I live on a ranch and we rais beef Cattle! All we feed them is molasase, salt licks and hay! So don't be making new vegitarians, because we need out living. On topic- I don't see whats a big deal about girls hitting puberty a year sooner. I mean if they're hitting puberty at 4 and 5 and getting pregnant at 13, then we have a problem. No offense.

Hey i live on a ranch and I have 2 cars, no one in my school eyeballs me about it, but i feel kinda weird explaining it. Any way is 14 too young to have them?But I don't think so, its taught me to slow down and think about things, I do drive them to feed. And one is a stick, and I got it to thirty on my second day driving it. I have been driving for a year now, just around the ranch and stuff. I know for a fact as long as I am on my own property, and no one gets hurt, its legal, as long as i don't go one the county road. But is wrong for me to have them.Heres the deal. I have always loved cars. One was my brother old 75 IH Scout, and If you've had a Scout you know they can rust away real easy without tlc. And it wasn't runnin right, so he brought it down to the ranche and left it. My dad drove it for a while to shoot out of, but then it died, and it was forgotten, until christmas 04. My mom was talking to my brother about the future of the Scout, and he said give it to Scoutmann (hence my name). So from then on I got it running again, with some help from my dad and his friends (to drop the fuel tank). But I have done most of the work and most of the genral reapirs, like fixing the light, radio, antenna, doors, headliner, back door, sideboard, spark plugs, and fixing the manual window lever. Now its the picture of health(sorta).My other Truck is a 1974 Chevy, the old ranch truck (the stick). We bought the ranch about, oh 10-11 years ago, and for the first few, we used the chevy to feed, then because it didn't have 4-wheel drive, he bought a kawaski Mule. The Chevy was downgraded to summer feeding truck, then to huning truck and then to the lowest postion, 2-ton yard art because my dad said "we didn't need it". Then, I couldn't stand it anymore, the grill was falling off, the doors would hardly open, it quit running, and it had grass literally growing IN the best, not from under neat, in the bed. That was the final straw, I went an begged an pleaded to mom, and finally after a month she said I could have, only if i cleaned it up an someday got it running. I was ecstatic. It no runs after a shorting out mishap, where I had to take the starter out, (my dad had showed me how to do it earlier this summer.) I took it with me and we went to town and it tested out. The next day i tole my dad that i was going to pt it back in. He said uh huh, and said go ahead and try. Well I am sure glad I had been workin out, beacuse that thing was a Batch to put in. But i did it, and when my dad came down he asked if I needed any help and watched in amazment when I said no and fired the truck on up. Over all on it i have Fixed the grill, replaced fuses, cleaned up the years of grease off the steering wheel (it was so bad it looked and felt like the steering wheel was meltin), fixed and greased the locks and doors, fasion new grill clips(my dad said It couldn't be done), Made a new pin for the spring on the wind sheild wipers( Again dad said it couldn't be done), fixed the tailgate, and am in the process of fixing the connector for the windsheil antenna. And I mastered driving that stick in less than a week.Now do you think its right for me to get mad, when my dads had a few, gets mad at me when I talk about the few other things that they need like gas, and he threatens to haul them away?

I am turning 14 tommorrow (Fri), and I was wondering if its too soon to start dating?If not, there is this girl in my school I like, she I think is a week or two younger than me, but she is pretty, smart, funny, but I am not sure if she likes me. Also I live in Mountains and she lives in the city over an hour away, would I have to wait till I am 16 to ask here out? She has Blonde hair, blue eyes, shorter than me younger (I don't really care), funny, pretty, all the things I've ever thought about in a girl, but never thought possible. When school started, whe had some sign in sheets for our classes and I found out that she has the most beutiful name. But she may be on this site, I really don't know much about her, except her name and that she has has apendicitus, and that was from a report on doctors for english. And BTW, we are both freshmen in high school.Please help, she is always on my mind, I need advice! I don't want her to think I am creepy, but I don't want to go on in life hating my self for not doing it. Also is it normal, that whenever she is in the same room as me, I get butterflys in my stomach?Ive been with a few other girls( you know playground love), and I have already been kissed, (i was 8 didn't know it was comin, i just talked to a girl at the rodeo and she kissed me on the lips), but i have never felt this way about a girl.

Heck no, The baseball season is too short. Another reason they wait a little bit is to give the players, coaches, staff and fans a rest. because how would you like to play baseball in 100 degree weather for 4-6 straight?(That started in my hometown of Bakersfield, more known as the devil summer home, because hell is too cold for him) Baseball seasons used to be shorter, but this has worked. I mean howmany surprises has happened since this was implicated? Alot! Take 06' for example, they were counted out, but the Cardinals said 20 years is enough, had one of the worst 1st place records ever, but they came back and beat the Padres, Beat Echos mets, and beat the roarin tigers and had overcome all odds. But sadly the MVP of that series David Ectstien had to give his corvette away that he had won, for he couldn't drive a stick. Point is See how exciting that was? That might not have happened if baseball had a shorter season.Oh and Echo of Thunder, i feel your pain, my cardinals got shot down during the hunt.

But if we don't know its happened and its just a big cycle, wouldn't we remember? Maybe when we dye we have a choice to go back and live life again or go to heaven. Those who go back get special abilities like clairboyance and stuff, so as not to make heaven so crowded. Also if you want to go back to earth at any time and live again you can. At least thats what I think. But I really don't know.

I am not afraid of dying in accidents. I am afraid of dying in gun shoot outs, knife fights, being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Also dying naturally. I like earth! I do beleive in god, but I am not sure if I'll like heaven, you know?I mean here I've got friends and family, cars(my life) and baseball. Those are things that I couldn't live or die without. But overall I am afraid of dying, and everytime I am alone and my mind wanders to it, I get very, very sad.

I still can't get over it, Mccain lost!I was starting to get over it, until i saw the news yesterday, two weeks after the election, they had finally counted all the votes, two weeks!Also my friends parents went to register to vote and apparently their street didn't exist. Well heres the deal they are republicans! Also I found out that they don't count the militaries vote. Aren't they citizens too?We had the wise old guy and the female terminator versus the two most libraral snakes in washington! Obama's a jerk and our countries done for!I mean look at the primaries, Hil had it cinched, and then Barack Hussein Obama (Yeah thats right the middle name!) comes out of nowhere and takes all here electoral votes. And if that weren't enough they made her announce that he was the nominey at the convention!I think Obama has ties with the Chicago Mafia and he got his way paid in, along with the votes from the A.C.O.R.N registered characters Mickey Mouse and his unofficial official Wife/Girlfriend Minney! And all the other cartton caracters!

You know girls think guys are deep and just playing stupid. The smartest guy in the world could be outsmarted by a pretty girl who is as dumb as forrest gump. We don't play stupid, we are stupid, at least when it comes to girls. Girls are so complicated, I mean what could upset a guy Like scratches in his paint, or the oil light coming on, a lot of times does not upset a girl. And also if girls wouldn't be so dog gone cute and cuddly as lumberjacks say, guy wouldn't be so imtimidated. If it didn't take a post for guys to even try to get a grasp on what girls are thinking, the world would be a lot better. But any ways thanks for the post, maybe I'll ask the girl I like out.

You know girls are mysterious territory man. Trying to figure them out is like trying to bend over backwards and kiss the ground, its alsmost impossible. Take me for example, theres this girl in my school i like, shes pretty, smart, and beutiful, her eyes, her hair. I said to myself she can't be interested in me, and that very same day she stuck up a convesation and the next week she did it again. (We are on an Independent study and only go to school one day a week.) And i sometimes see her looking at me. But where i live its not a possibility to date. (Mountains is where i live, and she lives in the city over an hour away)My advice is ride it out, and maybe when you all were being f*** buddies she got pregnant and these are her mood swings. Or maybe she is a moody, crazy self-centered person (no offense). But either way good luck!
