No need another cable because all usb cable are same.i noticed that your computer used 1.1 port, so if u connect 2.0 hub, it would only operate at speed 1.1.i confused that how printer can work faster if use 2.0 usb port?actually, cable connected betwen printer and computer is just to tell printer to print. no data flow betwen printer and computer.buy new pci card 2.0 if u willing to do that.

all i know was google chrome doesn't need much memory. probably suitable for old computer or insufficient of RAMthe advantages is chrome did not provide features like other (IE, firefox)but for me, i did not think i will use it

there are many ways to delete undeleted files.use program to force delete.restart computer to safe mode and delete (low probability to delete)boot computer to pure DOS mode to delete.

actually, i very concern about it, so i protect my computer in good condition.i scare 1 day, my data could lost and my personal detail like password will expose.This is the ways i protect my computer1. install windows, and then install all software needed. (*make sure computer free from virus, trojan, worm and spyware)2. backup your computer. (i use norton ghost)3. if can, make a or few copy to your important data, in DVD, Harddisk or any storage.4. if you know your computer mayb infected, run antivirus and clean it. (but i recommend restore your computer with your backup, because antivirus may not detect all virus)hope this will help those face with this kind of problem

You know why ?Because i was a computer technician before, so a lot of software that i needed for customer.Any software useful for me, then i always collect , don't care about its ogirinal, freeware or pirate.But software i most liked is norton ghost, its was very fantastic software. Help me very much.every my windows crash (because always test software. ), its help recovery my windows within few minutes.And very important for my job.Second, all software used to develop website were also my favorite software like dreamweaver, apache and so on.Lastly, those software related to multimedia like mp3 cutter, video editing and i guess everybody need it.

actually, i doesn't use any antivirus, same as you.through my experience, if you know very detail about virus, spyware, worm and so on.Hence, you no need an antivirus software. You can feel it if there are something abnormalwith your computer like slow start up, system setting changed and many more.Even though sometime you can't identify what type of virus, mayb u also clean virus manually.if very bad condition, may consider to reinstall your windows.what i know is antivirus need much system resources because it run in your computer all the time.then your computer become slow and slower.That why i doesn't like 3rd party software, especially softwareneed many memory.

Even this laptop equiped with solo core but it is enough for basic usage like i list above. This specification just suitable for windows xp, not for vista. REMEMBER !!!!! coz solo core + low capacity of harddisk. Actually, my younger sister also seeking for mini computer. so, ee pc mayb her choice.haha !!

i think the best way to transfer files is through network. u no need to setup any network wizard. all u need to do is connect your old compter and new laptop. Note* straight connect 2 computer without using your router ,more faster. it can tansfer with any type of network cable (crossover or straight). step 1 go to my network places. Click view network connection at your left top side. u will see local area connection, then right click and click properties. u will see internet protocol. double that one. And u click "use following ip address" e.g put in 192.168.0.5 at old computer and 192.168.0.6 at laptop and subnet mask will get it automatically. remember to close firewall on both computer. (Note* do this both computer) step 2 share your files. go to your folder that you would like to share. right click properties. click sharing at second tab. and take a look at "network sharing and security" if you 1st time sharing files, it will show u "if you understand ........." just click it, and then select just enable file sharing. after all, select the check box . "share this folder at network" (Note* do this only on computer which want to share ) hope you can understand my explaination

i did not agree with u ! NOD32 also can detect spyware and worm. Did u know that ? i installed norton before and found that norton scan very slow and need much memory. Beside, norton is not efficience Untill i tried NOD32, nod32 was best anvirus i tried before because can found more virus compare to norton. nod32 just need few memory to run. i always recommend to my friend. other nice antivirus is kaspersky and bitdefender help this can help u all

Nowdays, i can not get away from viruses,spyware and adware.very hate it and headache. i always keep my computer reinstalling, not bcoz i m hardwork in maintain computer but my computer always infected by viruses,spyware and so on.i trying to get browser which protected against viruses,spyware and adware. using IE6 now.i heard people IE is worst browser in the world, hacker love it.so , i need some expert opinion how to choose best browser.THank..

i tried so many browser before , then i found that maxthon was best. hav many freatures like change skin. beside startup time is fast , unlike IE very poor performance and eat a lot of memory especially when u opened too many tab. expose to viruses and spywares. through my experience , i think firefox and mathon were very best browser. BeLiEve ME !!!!

another antivirus topic.its normal if u use norton antivirus, coz norton hav many features,that why norton so efficientmore features need more memory. i used its before, i feel that norton hav long startup time, and need too much memory.if u looking for another antivirus, i recommend u use nod32. its includ antivirus and spyware.

actually your tips not good enuf. yes, disk cleanup and defragment is important, but its doesnt affect usage of RAM. if some application need much RAM , u can not make it low. disk cleanup use to clean windows temporary files and defragment use to arrange fragmented files. so , both 2 activity doesnt related to usage of memory. wat i experienced is more features need more memory where few features need few memory. when u choose antivirus, must make sure u know wat u need. if u install the features that u did not use , its will waste memory and space. so, be smart to use any kind of software. hope my tips or advises can help those who hard to choose antivirus.

Actually i used many operation system b4, and i m using dual windows Vista home premium sp1 and xp pro sp3.each windows has its own purpose. in xp i used to play game. and vista juz used for entertainment.bcoz vista of incompatibility, i rarely use vista.i oso used fedora and xandros. i used its for my study.

i have tried many antivirus software like norton, kaspersky, nod32, bitdefender, mcafee, avg, avast and so on.based on my experience. i can conclude that:norton - good, but need a lot of RAMkaspersky - best virus database, but slow startupbitdefender - same as kasperskymcafee - seem like virus database not good as lkaspersky.avg - worst virus database, i hate itavast - same as avg, not recommend to usenod32 - good virus database , fast startup , low memory. nod32 ,antivirus which using now. like me, all of u hav installed antivirus, can u giv opinion about antivirus ?
