  1. Best to design your site to work it both Firefox and Internet Explorer. If it works in those you should be pretty safe as it will work in almost anything if it does in those.Plus if it doesn't you're not gonna miss out on too much traffic and not many people have a browser other than the two metioned above, apart from I.T professionals and the like.RegardsMatty
  2. Nowadays I tend to use Dreamweaver as it let's you edit in both design and code modes. I would only reccomend it for moderate to advanced users though as it can be quite expensive and may contain alot of features that are just too hard to use.I used to use a little known program called Namo Web Editor when I was just beginning, although I don't know what it's like now as I haven't used it in a few years. Plus I think it was made here in Australia so it might be a little hard to track down. The other option (which is probably the cheapest too) is to use the web design software from coffeecup, I've used it a little in the past and recommend it to mates that are just starting. It's unbelievably easy to use and you can purchase extra software like flash creators which are just as easy to use, and they're pretty cheap too.Hope this make things a little easier for youRegardsMatty
  3. Nice work , I'm not really that good on the artistic side of web design myself but I'm pretty good with technical side. Adding some flash banners could maybe spark it up a bit more if you wanted to. There are many free ones available on the net if you look around a little.Keep up the good work.RegardsMattyP.SLearning basic HTML code can help with some tricky situations you can sometimes get into with Design editors and it's relativly easy and quick to learn
  4. Best thing to do first of all would be to get yourself a WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) HTML editor. This will allow you to be a website without having any knowledge of code. There are many free versions available, just search google. For more advanced codes just visit one of the two sites listed below, that's where I get most of my stuff from as you can just search for what you want and cut and paste the code into your site. http://www.hotscripts.com/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Best Of Luck Matty
