  1. SMALL TWO OF PIECES ~ The Fragment that Creaked ~ by: yui
    song from:Xenogears

    Run through the cold of the nightAs passion burns in your heart
    Ready to fight, a knife held close by your side
    Like a proud wolf alone in the dark
    With eyes that watch the world
    And my name like a shadow
    On the face of the moon

    (*)
    Broken mirror, a million shades of light
    The old echo fades away
    But just you and I
    Can find the answer
    And then, we can run to the end of the world
    We can run to the end of the world

    Cold fire clenched to my heart
    In the blue of knight
    Torn by this pain, I paint your name in sound
    And the girl of the dawn with eyes of blue, and angel wings
    The songs of the season are her only crown

    * repeat

    We met in the mist of morning
    And parted deep in the night
    Broken sword and shield, and tears that never fall
    But run through the heart
    Washed away by the darkest water
    The world is peaceful and still

    * repeat

  2. To enable ajax in asp.net you will need- ASPAJAXExtSetup.msi (Ajax extension, search it from google and download), install this and your asp.net will have ajax namespace and can be used for ajax- ASPNETAJAXVS2008.msi (ajax web extension, search it from google and download), install this and then your VS 2008 IDE will have ajax featuresFrom File, then click New Project, and select Ajax1.0 Enabled ASP.NET. And now your website is really for Ajax

  3. I use asp.net for my company site at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ is lack in ajax features (imho), you know why, because the ajax control toolkit is lack of features. And PHP ajax is growing very fast as you can see, i think php still leads the international website since it is free, and even free hosting like Xisto, and it is growing with large community supporting it (because of free).

  4. Yes gmail is great, and the ajax loading is faster than yahoo's. Yahoo's ajax is rather slower and quite messyThe only problems with gmail is, sometimes we input the correct password and it cant login and even ask for image verification (captcha) and thats annoying since we do not mistakenly type our password

  5. Move to .NET is a good choice, .NEt hides many layers from us unlike PHPWe do need to code and mix several php file/html into one file and we does not know how to differ the UI from code. But in .NET the code .cs/.vb is different from the page UI or .aspx. We can even have a web control is a .ascx file and put this control into an aspx and override methods and so on. And morely we can even use masterpage which makes all our site have a fix design. Its powerful!ASP.net nows become favourite in building sites (imho), but due to the sql server license, it makes .net hosting become expensive, and make not available freely unlike php. This is the issue that we all knows, the money proof the quality

  6. currently, Joomla is widely used by many companies. Range from local government site to huge corporates also. Though some might think that joomla is not very suitable for large companies but prove is, many local big companies uses joomla in their sites. Easy to customize and easy to use, is joomla really that realiable and not hackable? Is joomla that powerful? I don't really knowBut joomla has moved PHP code to another step in future. PHP with ajax and more features from joomla (components and modules) make this free cms world wide and become very interested for many php developers.

  7. I have heard from one of my friend in Singapore, working as IT director, he told me that currently singapore is having IT issues. Many local programmers does not meet the world IT requirement which is developing very fast each year. So in short, singapore chooses to use IT outsource from India and China, instead of using their local programmers.Anyone know why? As i am planning to move to singapore and work there as programmer. How?
