  1. Doesn't look all too much like an ad, as the link goes to a more of a review style article, rather then say...."FREE DATING NOW!" sort of thing.
  2. I highly doubt that will be put into effect if anything like this is even being proposed. What is keeping companies afloat is providing what people want. You don;t have to shove it down peoples throats. If you make something they people want, they ill eat it themselves. This leads me into what I quoted. Companies cannot/will not do somrhting like charge money for a set amount of web sites. If a internet company simply does what is currently available ( $50/month for DSL broadband speed, no dl limits ), then all those who are using the $XXX for XX websites will be run out of business. This is why I believe it cannot and will not happen.
  3. I understand your point, but I believe in the advance of games. The old games were good....for their time.In today's world, a good game has many options, extreme graphics, and more freedom than what we were offered with the old games.
  4. I am going to have to say Call of Duty 4.I prefer it on the xbox 360, but if it has to be PC, then I would still pick it.Best multiplayer, guns, and fun I have seen. <--( Opinion....obviously. )
  5. Damn Small Linux is damn small. I would reccomend it first for a small ditro, but you may also wanna try Arch Linux. It gives a lot of freedom with a small package - like being completely customizable. ( Bigger than Damn Small Linux... )
  6. Making your own web browser is not all too hard. You can do it in Visual Basic (VB) with ease. Here is a quick tutorial if you need more evidence: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ ( First link from Google. )
  7. uTorrent Why: -Fast -Small -No install needed -Easy to use -Great support -Need I say more? uTorrent is, in my opinion, the best windows bittorrent client. http://www.utorrent.com/intl/en/
  8. I use a Intel Core 2 CPU X6800 @ 2.93 GHzIt suits me just fine.
  9. Reinstalling windows every say month or three is completely unneeded. If you keep running into problems, then maybe it is not the OS, but rather something else.If it slows down, delete what you don't need, run an anti-virus ( if you think you have virus ), registry scan, and clear all temp files, and DEFRAG your hard drive!!!! <--(Can't emphasize last point enough, as this is what people DON'T do and then complain about slow computer.)I have not reinstalled windows in over 2 years, and it still works at top speed, due to my regular maintenance.
  10. Man, you beat me by a couple of minutes. I was also gonna say that the type='submit' was missing from all of these. Oh well, good job!
  11. There is also a law that states you must carry a license to wear a mask in California. ( Halloween is allowed though. )If anyone knows more, please, tell us. They are very entertaining.
  12. The games that are being created now a days require some power. I'm also saying if you can afford it, go for it. That way, you have some extra oomph. I only have a dual core and I feel the strain some programs like my mathematics program I have puts on my computer.
  13. You could always write your own IP scanner. ( So you can be sure it is clean, and not some virus or worm. ) This a great and simple to understand tutorial on how to write a IP scanner in Visual Basic ( VB ). http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ ( I did not find one on this site. ) As for working in a wireless environment....anything that works with cables will work with wireless.....if you have a working internet connection. ( There is no difference, other than not having to hassle with cables. )
  14. On the box, the games requires Windows Vista, doesn't it? Anywho, you might want to check out the following link. It tells how you can get Halo 2 working with Windows XP. http://www.lanthrax.com/news_details.asp?NewsID=1017 As for the Accelerated 3D not working......I have no clue. ( It too is a requirement under Windows Vista. )
  15. Is your internet working when you try to access the store? There should be no reason for iTunes not to connect tot he internet when you are able to visit this site. The error could also be with their server. ( It may be overloaded/down, and can't process any requests. )
