  1. @Jeune

    I don't know cricket either :)

    NEways..

I am writting down steps to your problem.. I was having a similar issue few years back.. Its a trojan, I can be 50% sure of that. . to confirm I'll need you to post something for me ;)

    1.) STEP 1

    Daphne : http://www.drk.com.ar/daphne.php

    HijackThis : http://www.trendmicro.de/produkte/kostenlose-tools-und-services/index.html

download and install both of them ..

    2.) STEP 2

    Run both of them..

they are both executibles and will not install so you don't need to restart your system..

    3.) STEP 3

in HijackThis > do a Scan and Save log (if you can't find it.. its in main menu: button below the white listing space)

    4.) STEP 4

Post that log here. .. so we all can see and find out whats causing the problem ;)

    5.) STEP 5

meanwhile.. you can use Daphne to kill all your IExplore.exe while you are NOT using your Internet Explorer

If they keep popping back up.. (I LOVE THIS ONE).. then probably i was right that its a trojan ..

    :D

If its a trojan then it would would most probably be hiding in System32 folder..

I'll try to guide you how to do that , but first post the log from HijackThis..

P.S. PM me if possible, I keep forgetting things  , once i even forgot to sleep

    btw..

  2. Thanks for the info m8. ;)

But I am going to stick with Mozilla.. I think My IE is somehow corrupted.. (I was experimenting with something when it just sort of ate my IE)

I think its not much of a deal if you are careful with what you are downloading and running on the internet :). but then Ofcourse most of us just press Yes/Okay to almost every alert that we see..

I've listed two articles for ppl interested to see how the Vulnerabilities work ..

  3. I have a PSP slim and lite with firmware 3.80 or something and i've been having some problems. I have two memory cards, a SanDisk 1GB and a Sony 4GB. The strange thing is that i can store films on the SanDisk one but not the Sony, it just says "corrupted file' whenever i try to play the film. Could someone please help.

Are you sure you bought the real Sony 4 GB. There are plenty of fakes out there. I bought mine from a sony outlet in Japan, because in India even Sony retail outlets are selling fakes

Try formatting the card from PSP itself and then putting the file on to it..

  4. I've read all of the theories above :lol:I am not going to annoy you.. This could be a problem related to interrupt conflict.1.) Try using the on-screen keyboard for CTRL+C and then CTRL+Vif that works .. :) CTRL+C is not disabled ;) congratulations...2.) Go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Informationcheck for Conflicts under Hardware resourcesyou can also look for if the keyboard hardware is properly recognized and what drivers are loaded for it in the next few drop downs.Do this and reply back with your findings ;)I hope its not a hardware conflict.btw.. what type of keyboard is it ? USB or PS2 and where did you test CTRL+C ? notepad or Wordpad ??

I didn't understand your series of questions properly .

    which fan is working ?

    1.) mainboard's controller fan

    2.) Graphic's card fan

    3.) processor fan

Is the Graphic's Card properly seated in the AGP slot ?

and did you install the proper drivers ?

Kindly check all the cables on the motherboard .. you might have accidentally removed one

which OS are you using ?

and pls give the exact configuration of your system (motherboard model, graphic's card make and model, cpu, etc.)

cant guide you any further than this without the proper information

  6. I have a spare Television at home & a spare P4 CPU, with 1.70 GHz & 512MB RAM.I wanted to use my TV as the MONITOR & Purchased a Nvidia GeForce FX5200 Display card & installed the drivers & connected it to my Tv with the S-Video port.

I Got the Display on the TV, The Display is Quite Clear & the Videos are even clear.
Now my Problem is Everything which I see on the TV is in BLACK & WHITE. I cannot find the colour on the TV.

My TV is an Indian Made which can understand both PAL & NTSC signals. It even has Auto Signal Detect, Which also I tried but couldnt get the colour.

At Startup process till Windows Logo it comes in colour but after that it gets Black & White.

I am Using Windows XP Professional SP2 a my operating system.

I even formated my PC to no avail.

Kindly Gurus please solve my puzzle.

    Hi there,
i was using the same card few years back. Didn't give me any problems.
    I have some questions.
1.) What make is your card .. Asus, XFX,.. ?
2.) Which cable are you using to connect to the TV, the one that came along or did you buy it seperately ? because this could be a problem related to the Cable.
3.) What driver version are you using ? Try installing the latest available drivers for the card.. Go to Nvidia.com

  7. :lol:WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONALThanks Saint Michael :)but i am already running the latest version of the Graphics Drivers. Problem is , but I can't find any option for the graphics card's temperature monitor.the Nvidia control panel shows a temperature option , but thats for the CPU coresI think I would need a separate software to monitor that.@ Magic I am running Win XP. and I am not lame. May be you didn't understand the question. Please don't post just for the sake of posting.

  8. I guess Microsoft has some cheap developers working on the Vista team. Its a Crappy software. and as if that wasn't enough they are going to release an update called Windows 7 . Which would probably be having fixes for some of the most annoying bugs in Vista and at the same time would introduce some more (new and improved) bugs :)

I think they should wipe out Vista and start from Scratch ;)

@Saint Michael , thanx for sharing the info m8 and IE8 beta has been released. I have it installed on my Office comp. And I believe nothing is going to change in that and microsoft guys are going to release it as it is with the final release of Windows 7.

check it out if you want too
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/products/windows

I think its worse than IE 7.

    P.S. I don't use IE. I like Firefox ;)

  9. I'll suggest you buy the Laptop with Linux/Dos(if possible, I doubt if Dell offers any of these). and then Install XP. Because most of the system that come with DOS/Linux would be having harware 100% compatible with Windows XP. and then you can format (or make a partition) and install XP. This way, you won't end up spending unnecessary money and you'll get an XP laptop.or If you are sticking with the Vista-DELL combination, then collect the software drivers for the Devices before you wipe out OS. PM me if you get stuck with any of the drivers. I'll help you find it :lol:P.S. Vista is not that bad. I've tried Vista Ultimate on a friends comp, though I love my system with XP. I feel its much faster but then I can't play games in all their glory because theres no DX10 for XP.

  10. @darussalam hey, I believe you would like to know the information about your graphics card. (This displays the size too!) assuming you are using Windows XP/Vista. go to run and type DXDIAG. hit enter and you'll see the diagnostic information. Go to display tab and you'll see the general information about your graphics card. for a detailed information you might use tools like sisoft sandra, that give you an indepth detail, but in most of the cases its not required.Hope this helps ^_^I am attaching a screenshot for graphics card information from my machine

  11. It might be a compatibility issue with the motherboard, if your drivers are in place.Try updating your motherboard drivers(from manufacturers website) along with the Graphics Card drivers ( from Nvidia.com as suggested by Saint Michael). And reply if it solves the problem you can also upgrade your BIOS if its available on the website. However don't do it if you are unsure about the process. because I had a similar problem with my old machine and a BIOS upgrade solved it.

  12. Hi,
My system specs are as follows:

    Processor : Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz Motherboard: nVidia 650i Ultra
    RAM : 2 GB
    GfxCard : XFX 8600 GT (512 MB)

Problem is all of my nVidia component are now managed by a single Control panel - nVidia Control panel and it doesn't show any tab for graphic's card temperature.

I want to know the temperature of my graphics card. does any body know any software for this ?? or at least a work around ?

    thanks ^_^

  13. If the LCD is broken then I believe it can be replaced easily :Pbut if its because of some other circuit then I don't think its wise spending money on it. get a new camera.btw, you can go to the after sale service department and try to find out if its covered under warranty (i doubt it will be but still ) and how much would be the cost of a genuine repair for it.btw which camera was it ?and how much water did you pour (in ml) on your LCD ^_^
