Well from what i heard, its a simple text install and follows somewhat of what apple os does, with sudo to run admin comands. And apparently Firefox 1 is not shipped with it yet. Also I'm not sure if this distro can handle deb packages.

I vouch for Gimp , Sodipodi n Inkscape. The last two are good for vector graphics n they have a good selection on export options. Also for a quick n dirty Flash animation, import your graphics to the OpenOffice presentation program (powerpoint type stuff), make your presentation n then export it all as a flash movie.

So far FNh has provided a very goood plan(800mb+10gb+fantastico+no ads+others) and the way I want to thank them is vote for them...

Can you believe it? THis afternoon a package appears at my doorstep and inside are the ten ubuntu cds! The intel cardboard case comes with a live and an installaction cd. I tried the live cd on an athlon 1.8, 500mb ram ,with an onboard nvidia n soundblaster n it worked excellent. boot up was a bit slow, but understandable. it gives you a basic desktop (openoffice, gimp, totem video, cd ripper, cd player, some games, etc ..),with internet n some network tools. everything worked well. their site, where you can sign up for the free cds is: https://www.ubuntu.com/ try it out and share it with friends...
