First, concerning the dual-boot problem: I have Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD all on one hard drive. I can boot them all easily using GRUB, my Linux boot manager. It's actually quite easy to set it up.Second, regarding the Linux distros. As someone mentioned earlier, each distro has it's own advantages. I personally use Gentoo, and I really like it. The package management system is well built and I think it's much easier to use than Red Hat's RPM.

Actually, there's a new Java-based online video player being developed right now. This would eliminate the need for WMP or other players. After it is finished, the developers will release the code for it. As of now the only format one can use for it is OGGVorbis. Maybe that will change in the future. If anyone is interested in seeing what it's like, click here.

Being the Linux user that I am, I'd rather not use IE. Therefore, I prefer using Mozilla Firefox. Even on my Windows box, I use Firefox. I think it's a great browser and the tabbing feature is really useful.
