I just tried SMF (http://www.simplemachines.org/) and I'm more satisfied with it than the above mentioned boards. It is fairly new, though, so is not yet very popular and may have bugs that will pop up at sometime (like the recent phpbb thing). Ok...well I am currently working on a online text mmorpg, well i currently have an IP checker, so that no one can have more than one acount.. well there is one drawback, it will take a proxy IP, which i dont want it to, I have heard that java will grab the real IP whether or not they are using a proxy server to connect to the site... could anyone help me out on this one? -Need a code to detect the real IP, not letting it detect Proxies.
