I started in front page and was appalled by the amount of useless code that was there in fp when i started using dw. - well, i used notepad first, still do - but i use dw in coding view most of the time.

Tweaking it in about:config as was posted above is definately worth doing. Mine used to be slower than IE but isnt now.You cant beat tabbed browsing - especially since windows started grouping tabs on the bottom as default (i know you can turn it off - but im lazY)

I use MS Office as it has more functions and easy to use
