Hi folks, I'd like to introduce myself here, simply because I'm, well..., new. First of all, my real name is Robin and I'm 21 years old. Born and raised in the south of the Netherlands, and I currently live in Eindhoven, which is a bit more to the north, for those of you who know my country. I'm currently studying Electrical Engineering at the university. I'm particularly interested in power electronics and stuff... For my other interests, I'm a definite Star Trek fan. Those of you who say Trekkie just HAVEN't seen the 2 films! I'm also a fan of the Pioneer Audio Productions hosted here, as well as other Star Trek fan productions. In fact, we're making one ourself... Besides that I'm a regular DJ for my own webradio stream (in Dutch, but that doesn't spoil the music ) and I'm building a web site for it at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (that's mainly why I wanted to get registered here, by the way). For the autistic part, I'm one of the (un)fortunate few who suffers from Asperger's Syndrome, although 'suffer' isn't quite the right term... All I can say is that the iRiver really kicks butt in features... LOL. Ogg Vorbis support should be a standard feature in any player.

I run XP with no probs, but I like the response, performance, and software availible for Linux. I find myself looking for Windows ports of that software all the time, wishing I could get away with pure linux. LOL. I recommend Linux unless your a multimedia nut, cause Microsoft has a monopoly on Audio/Video compression on the web. (WMA/WMV)

Without the WinFS improvement, the only reason to upgrade is Microsoft will quit offering support on XP. This means no more security updates and such. That kinda ticks me off, but they'll do it wether it makes me mad or not. Thanks for your input Mastermund. :wink:

well, since i've been here i've had to re request 2ce - and i guess thats in 2 months, - but then the site is still quite new, so its changing a bit - and im not complaining cos the services here are second to none.But, my point is that that didnt really distinguish between active users and non active users, other than that people had to come back to make sure they kept their account.I guess that so long as you keep your account backed up, even if something does happen and you lose your account - you can always re-apply.

Well since you are new to PS I will rate you on your user-level first.-> 8/10 .. Very good start for a newbie. You don't wanna know what I started out with.. For days and days I was just blending in pictures with lame borders. It looks like you actualy made that yourself.And now for the actual revew.->4/10 on first two. They don't look very full. Just a random render on backround and text in the middle with bad blending.-> 6/10 on the third one. Better blending, better backround, more colors. A bit too large and the text is too 3D for the backround type.-> Overall10/10You're a star! Keep it up you'll get better :DI'm not too good either.
