I dunno if I should call it a banner, but I couldn't think of anything better to call it, so a banner it is; I am trying to get people to post some different designs for a banner for my site. :shock: :shock: I don't even know where to start with this.... err umm... both great suggestions if you change your CMOS settings and mess something up .. however guys if you flash your bios and it causes a problem neither of those will work. because they are just restoring the CMOS settings to default factory settings... flashing the bios is a permanent thing. If done wrong or there is an error you need a new bios chip from the manufacturer. (unless your motherboard has a dual-bios) now back to the original problem lol. From my experience when your system restore won't work it is because of corrupt restore files. They can be caused by a virus that u cleaned out but wasn't removed from the restore files (because they are locked) or a spyware/malware removal program etc. The fresh install was your only route to do what u needed. Glad to hear u got it fixed. Thought I'd post even though its fixed cause when people give out advice like that it kinda scares me

For some reason, I can't access any .tk site. I've checked into it, and other people can access the same site at the same time. I don't have any filters on, no firewalls or anything. I am still using IE, and haven't tried it with Firefox yet. So if anybody could help, I need it.

Alrighty then. You can upload each folder manualy to your webspace using an FTP client. I recommend CuteFTP. Visit http://download.cnet.com/windows/ and search for CuteFTP. Extract the .zip file somewhere on your desktop. Connect to your webspace and drag the folders (find the directory where you extracted your backup) from your left side (your computer) to your right side (your webspace). If that doesen't suit you, create a new folders using the same structure as the one in your backup and select multiple files and drag them to the corresponding folders. This takes more time. You will have to update SQL databases manualy either way. I suggest you just copy the folders neccessary to view the website and update my SQL and leave the rest off. You don't need them anyways. I hope that helps. Im not gonna bother now, but if you need more help, tell me I will post screenshots. I assumed nobody wanted to help you because you were a bit rude (and I understand a bit frustrated). Note the following quote: That discourages people. Most of the backgrounds are good, but the fonts don't match with them. Try switching some of the texts to other bgs and see what it looks like.btw, where'd you get the first font?
