    Firefox

I skimmed through this and didn't see any reference to the answer. There's an extension for Firefox called Minimize to Tray which puts Firefox in the system tray.Cheers,MC
  9. No it is not spam I really had the virus and it took me a night to get rid of it. Thankyou for backing me up.
  10. Dreamweaver has many features and u can download thousand extensions and it doesn't prduce *BLEEP* code like Frontpage. A page that would normally be 10 kb is 100 for frontpage. But u need to know how to use dreamweaver.
  11. if it's free, everyone want to get one in china. me too.and i have a personal forum ,so i went here to get a free hosting.
  12. You can always try Blender3D. It's open source, but VERY powerful. It also lets you import and export to many formats. As for the lightwave demo, according to this page here, http://www.newtek.com/ you have to contact Newtek for the lightwave demo. Or you can go here http://www.newtek.com/ and order one from the guys at Siggraph (but i think it's only for people who attended last year's conference, you can try anway though). If you find a place to download the demo please share the info amongst the rest of us.
  13. LOL. Subliminal is one I haven't tried yet. But seriously though, how DO you get your site listed on the popular search engines? I've always wondered. Or is it just automatic according to the meta tags you add to your html codes?
  14. ahhhhhhhhhhh if somebody wanted to read this stuff they would go to a news site and read it but you just keep copying and pasting this crap
  15. Glad you've learnt concatenation, and the correct term too.Other methods, without using the .= operator is we can join different variables into another variable.e.g.$string1 = 'Hello, ';$string2 = 'World!';$string3 = $string1 . $string2;$string4 = $string1 . 'and welcome to my ' . $string2;echo $string3 . ' ' . $string4;//results: Hello, World! Hello, and welcome to my World! The period/dot is our means of joining or linking our variables/strings/etc. $var .= 'hey'; // means $var = $var . 'hey';When you talk about concatenating NULL (nothingness) initialised variables, you should really make sure that is the case. All variables should be initialised as NULL but there's no gaurantee that this would be the case and if you concatenate a variable that you expected should have been NULL but wasn't, you might get undesirable or incorrect results. It's safer to initialise the variable first then concatenate onto it.Cheers,MC
  16. After lots of work searching the 'Net and applying what I've learnt, I have been able to create a form that displays the data submitted by the user (preserving linebreaks and surpressing the display of escape backslashes when apostrophies and double-quotes are typed into the textarea field) so that the user can retain the information for future reference. What I want to know is if there's a script (PHP or otherwise) that I can use to get that information automatically posted to my email address? I already know how to get form data posted to my email address (by putting action="mailto:myemail@wherever.com" page. But that's a whole other story.) Is it possible to have more than one value assigned to the "action" attribute (or any attribute for that matter)? To more fully understand my dilemma, please feel free to use my form at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ as much as you like. (Within reason, of course!) That site is just used for my personal testing purposes, so some of the links will not work as expected. Just use the form itself. Thanks. P.S. There are other things that need working on in that form, like forcing the user to submit required fields etc. but the most pressing issue is the one I've alluded to.
  17. i prefer phpBB i think over IPB though IPB has some nice things and loos more pro. But to get 2 i have to pay so if i would pay for a forum i would go for Vbulletin!
  18. # Ad-Aware SE (version 1.05) Pro# Webroot SpySweeper 3 (version 3,5)# Spybot Search & Destroy 1.4
  19. i didn't read all the pages but arrobalados if u say that IE is 6 the best you probably just a M$ fan boy with no idea about security. I bet u never saw firefox   Faster , Safer , Better Get Firefox now! P.S 25 million downloads break in less than 100 days. And that's only from official site! FireFox is religion lol
