You see my page here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Here is a list of the things I would like which I know are all really easy to do in HTML so it will not take you long to help me. I want the "menu" to be over on the left and a little gap in between the menu and the writing and the writing should start near the top of the page not in the middle and when it gets long it should extend past the "menu" and not go on the page near the wall on the left. The last one doesn't make sense but here is an old example from last time I was asking http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and a different one http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ so i think it should be easy to fix but I do not have a clue please help me

okay my friend. here is what u do.Before all of this you should rename the image folder and upload it to : public_html/forum/style_images/why i say rename..because i think it should be name image. but there might also be another folder there name image..so its better to rename and upload!Step 1. Download the skin and unzipStep 2. Do into the forum's ADMINCP then stroll down to Skin and Templates.Click on it and you should see: Manage Skin Sets |-- Board Wrappers |-- HTML Templates |-- Style Sheets '-- Macros Import Skin files Skin Version ControlClick on Macros and browse to the folder that you downloaded and uplodad the macros file. hmm i would rename it to something.Do the same for the style sheets, html templates, and board wrappers.Step 3 .Then click on "Manage Skin Sets"and then click on Create new skin set. Rename the Skin Title to the name of the skin.click on the " use templates drop down menu and look for the select the template that u uploaded.Click on the "Used Macros set" and select the one you uploaded.Do the same for everything! thats why i said before its good to rename your stuff that you uploaded. Then after all that click on Create Skin Set.i hope this helps :lol:and ur done..if you need anything ..please reply. or if u want i can install it for you.

well..for the effects i just double click on them..and photoshop opens and it installs itself.

I need to know because kindness and generosity in my book should be taken notice. So that is why I ask. I just like to thank the guy for hosting me. You understand what I mean. He is kind to host me for free. And I have nothing to give him. So a thank you is all I can give, so I will give that to him. I hope he will get this mesage. I would like to know what are the right procedure to upload/restore backup files and databases when domain name changes from sub-domain.anysite.com to mysite.com ? I do not want url redirection in this case.. suggest me please.... thanks.note : I don't mind uploading files from ftp client.

Why? It's mostly backwards-compatible with PHP4, and even though they don't recommend it, the PHP4 apps would probably run fine on PHP5.Anyway, there are technologies out there that allow you to run both PHP4 and PHP5 at the same time.
