With the definition of pop being popular music and you saying you like top 40, and the top 40 being the supposed top 40 selling tracks in the region, does that not then mean the top 40 popular tracks and therefor mean you like pop?

Okay, here's my reasoning... If you download tunes to check out the band and are intending to purchase, that's cool. I'd prefer to have the packaging myself, but get pissed off with record companies putting out albums based on one track... I like to check out the rest of the album first. And to be honest I think that's what pisses of the record companies, because they cant get rid of one hit wonders anymore. If the band is good, I'll buy the CD!I also download tunes to check out a band before buying tickets to gigs, I think I've ended up seeing more bands coz of this. The band gets an extra fan and sells another ticket they wouldn't have if I hadn't downloaded a track.
