I was very much in favor of George Bush 4 years ago. Since then it seems like the situation were in (USA) has gotten worse. We now know that we didnt have sufficient evidence to go after Iraq and start a war. Colin Powell has stated it and im sure if you looked hard enough you can find it, I think I accually posted a link somewhere in the vent section a month or so ago. Now it seems North Korea is wanting to test the nuclear weapons they have..... That makes me think, Hold up something isn't right here. We maybe think Iraq has them, so were gonna tell saddaam hussein to resign from power or we will declare war until we find him and wipe out his army.. Alright, we go to war, 6 or so years later still fighting. Now, North Korea comes along and wants to test their nukes, what do we do? Say no..... Really intelligent George, Seems to me we need to be telling NK to dismantle their weapons and surrendur, Oh yeah, North Korea doesn't have the wealth to beable to produce many of these weapons, and theyre so small we could blow the hell out of them so they know better...... So we leave them alone, Things just dont add up. We did need to remove Mr. Hussein from power, but dont wound and kill thousands of American kids (18-20 average) yr olds their life's, and limbs. We should have been smarter about how we entered this war. Now the entire eastern hemisphere almost thinks were a selfish world superpower trying to steal oil from Iraq. I personally believe thats not the case, I think George Bush did what he thought was right, (I also think the assasination attempt on his father that Hussein ordered several years back also had a part in this) and he just made a big mistake. I believe if John Kerry didnt run against him in 2004 then no way would he have won. He is one of the most disliked men in the world. I play xbox live a lot at nights, I sometimes ask people i come acrossthat live in other countries what they think of mr bush, Many if not all dont like him.... I think since Bush jumped into the war with Iraq, I think he regrets it too, this maybe is making him think twice about korea.... If he gonna go on this ANTI NUKE campaign might as well not be a hippocrit and finish it off, Get the nuclear weapons away from korea. I am sure I will recieve crticism from this post, but please dont be rude....

The Space do you think we will ever live on the moon??
Forsaken replied to hellgate's topic in Science and Technology
Of course build a big space station on the moon and live there.....Thats not effiecient at all.. And not very reasonable.I think as of right now, We couldnt possibly do it. Main reason, there is no oxygen on the moon so You would have to have enough oxygen up there to last a long time, and to fill a large area.... You would need to grow your own food (This can help in the oxygen process also since plants take in carbon dioxide and produce oxygen) And it would be difficult to travel or leave your home.. Also the fact that stuff like insomnia sets in after being in space for too long. If you everdid live there you would never beable to come back to earth, at least without long term disabilities. The fact is that the moons gravity isnt strong enough to keep our muscles as strong as they need to be to withstand the earths gravity. Otherwise when you returned to Earth, basically what would happen is you would be crushed by the gravity. Water is something that humans must have to survive, this is also another problem that would exhist. There is no water on the moon so you would have to take A LOT up there. Then you would have to have a purification system, because all the water you used to take a bath or use the toilet would have to be recycled so you can drink it . If the moon had the atmosphere we have and contained oxygen and water then you would beable to look over the different gravitational affects, but there are too many varibles that are against us...... I dont think its possible, and will not be possible for a long time. I was gonna conclude here but something comes to my mind I want to bring up so here it goes.Over time humans can addapt to their surroundings, Thats one of the reasons why you see different looking people in different parts of the world. If humans did move up there and live, over a period of generations, I believe it would be possible to addapt to the environment of the moon, reduced oxygen levels, low gravity.... I'm not too sure how addapting to the oxygen and lack of water would be, but I am almost 100% positive we could addapt to the gravity, Humans would become taller, probably have longer limbs, I cant say for sure because im not educated in this, but thats just my opinion. -

Best Paying Job what is the best paying job out apart from sports
Forsaken replied to toilet95's topic in General Discussion
lol, well everyone here has some good examples.....To almost all if not all, you could be very successful or you could go broke. If you play sports and your not really that great, you could go broke and not really be that successful, filmmakers/actors ect...I can think of several actors off the top of my head that had it going for them once upon a time, but if things dont go your way you will drop like a rock. The programming side, Yes Microsoft is a multi billion dollar company, but how many other companies are out there that dont make that much.....I dont think getting the job is all you need, gotta beable to perform....And got to be successful at what you do, if things go your way you will have to pay lots of taxes :-p which is a good thing (means u make lots of money) -
Wow great post, (Sarcasm) Alright, I will shed my thoughts on this beast. I myself have been a hardcore XBOX fan for the past two years. I dislike sony and anything that has to do with the playstation. I play XBOX live religiously, and I love HALO 2. But the other day I had the oppertunity to check one of these new handheldes out, It was a lot more than I expected, I figured it would be just nintendos new handheld....But Oh, was I wrong.....This thing can do all sorts of stuff, watch videos, play music, games, its somewhat like a mp3 player but soooo much better. The screen on it, is well, AMAZING..... I have a Lincoln Navigator with a plasma screen in the back seat.....The screen on the PSP owns it if you compare the quality.... The technology just keeps getting better, I cant wait to see the new xbox/ ps2 consoles.....Cant even imagine what they will be like.

I have heard people talk about it..... I myself cant understand why anyone would want to die, but I guess im not in their position. If a person lives in what they think are terrible conditions I guess I could see why someone would just want to end it. But then again, I believe if your strong you can make things better, I also believe it has a lot to do with your attitude, if you have a pestimistic attitude and your always thinking about bad things, and you never focus on the good stuff, or want to do anything fun....Your driving youself into that position. Things aren't always going to be the way we want them, I know some people think that other people have it all great, the rich kids at school. Well, hate to say it but they dont, nobody does, everyone has problems and everyone must overcome their problems. So, I guess overall I think it has to do with the way you percieve things in life.

I have never really understood the point of spending so much money on a painting...... Why not just but a knockoff? Looks the same....Normal people (myself) wouldn't beable to tell a difference. Its like buying abercrombie jeans instead of wal-marts....When the only people that see them cant tell a difference.

Alright, I am 17 years old. From 8am to 3:15 pm I go to school. Right after school I work until 8-9 pm depending on the days. I make more than minimum wage. My truck gets about 25 miles per gallon. Now you know a bit about me, The current gas prices in my are are close to $2.30 a gallon. This is due to some circumstances in IRAQ, I have heard on Fox News that gas may reach up to 6 dollars a gallon in the next year or so. Driving to work and school cost me about 40 dollars a week. That is about 1/3 my paycheck, Now, I know that were liberating IRAQ, and all but I believe myself that George Bush messed up, I know many of you will argue with me and tell me how stupid I am, But you must admit he could have done things different that would have ended up with a more positive outcome. I supported Bush at the beginning of this war, and during his campaign. When he won his 2nd term, I supported him, but I was leaning toward the other party. I believe that George Bush jumped into this war, everyone must admit that it was a quick solution to the aftermath of 9/11. Isn't it odd how before Iraq you heard stuff about Afghanistan on the news almost daily, but since the war began, NOTHING. I know we have troops there, but if we concentrated the manpower we have in IRAQ, towards finding Osama Bin Laden the person we hold responsible (AND KNOW HE IS RESPONSIBLE) for the attacks on the World Trade Centers in New York on 9/11 we would most likely have found him by now. I recall hearing something a while back about us (United States) not having substancial evidence that IRAQ (saddam) even had weapons of mass destruction. Also, a couple of George Bushes cabinet members, particuraly Colin Powel has mentioned since the war has begun that we did not find propable cause to believe Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.... I will quote him below "We had a good discussion, the Foreign Minister and I and the President and I, had a good discussion about the nature of the sanctions -- the fact that the sanctions exist -- not for the purpose of hurting the Iraqi people, but for the purpose of keeping in check Saddam Hussein's ambitions toward developing weapons of mass destruction. We should constantly be reviewing our policies, constantly be looking at those sanctions to make sure that they are directed toward that purpose. That purpose is every bit as important now as it was ten years ago when we began it. And frankly they have worked. He has not developed any significant capability with respect to weapons of mass destruction. He is unable to project conventional power against his neighbors. So in effect, our policies have strengthened the security of the neighbors of Iraq..." Got to looking around and even found a video you guys may be interested in. http://www.thememoryhole.org/ There you will clearly hear and see Powell admitting there were no weapons in iraq that we needed to be threatened by. When George Bush won his second term as president of the United States Colin Powel resigned from his position in cabinet, maybe he too is tired of the situation our president has put us in. It is clear that George Bush was probably under a lot of stress about the entire 9/11 situation, and they werent finding Osama Bin Laden, so he pointed his finger somewhere else, and has gotten us into a real pickle. Our gas prices will never go back down, the men who have died over there will never live again. We are BILLIONS of dollars in debt, yet we continue to spend, the unemployment rate is high, We have created many of enemies and lost the trust of lots of countries since this has happened, we are one of the most hated countries in the world, I have talked to many people from outside of the US on instant messangers and such, majority of them do not have good views on Bushes position on Iraq, They dont like him , seems like most of the world doesnt. I often wonder what would have happened if Al Gore had won the presidency back in 2000, would we be in the position we are still in, and Would the thousands of injured and killed men, women, and children have died in Iraq (Our soldiers, Innocent bystanders, ect.) Those are a few of my opinions please feel free to let me know about yours, but please dont try to degrade me for having different beliefs.

Alright, this is an advanced version of a tutorial I posted earlier this week called Delphi Simple parssing functions. This tutorial explains how to parse multiple instances of an item in one string. Here is the function (which I am actually very proud of):Code: function TForm1.MultiParse(MainString, BeginString, EndString: string): TStrings;var PosBeginString, PosEndString, i, LastPos: integer; tmpCopy: string; tmpStrings: TStrings;begin tmpStrings := TStringList.Create; LastPos := 0; for i := 1 to LastDelimiter(EndString, MainString) do begin PosBeginString := PosEx(BeginString, MainString, LastPos) + Length(BeginString); PosEndString := PosEx(EndString, MainString, LastPos); tmpCopy := Copy(MainString, PosBeginString, PosEndString - PosBeginString); if Length(Trim(tmpCopy)) <> 0 then tmpStrings.Add(tmpCopy); LastPos := LastPos + PosEndString; end; Result := tmpStrings;end;Notice how the function returns the parsed data using the data type of TStrings, which is essentially an easier to work with version of a string array. The code would be used as follows:Code: Memo1.Lines.AddStrings(MultiParse('The person named Joe is friendly. The person named Bob is friendly.', 'named ', ' is'));The strings 'Bob' and 'Joe' will both be contained in the returnd TStrings data type, and will be added to Memo1, whose primary "lines" property is also of the same data type.Notes:1) Because of its usage of the PosEx function, to use this function "StrUtils" must be included in the uses section of your unit.2) The code doesn't necessarily need to be contained in a function. You can adapt it to place in a procedure.-----------------Hope some of you find this useful, I may post some more tutorials pertaining to HTML,PHP,C#,DELPHI,MYSQL.....Maybe some other stuff too. Will probably post something soon, as soon as I get time. Thanks for reading lemme know if this helped you by giving me some repuation points. Notice from Dooga: Please wait for your tutorial to be accepted. Do not press submit twice because you didn't see your tutorial up yet. They will not appear until a moderator has seen it. That's all.

What Operating System Is The Best Games Base ? A little Quizzy...
Forsaken replied to MacFly's topic in Operating Systems
I voted for Windows XP because I really don't know which is better exactly, but I love windows XP's interface it is very easy to use, but i would have to say that windows 2000 is more tweakable (is that even a word? lol) So I dunno? "The world may never know." -
Well in my personal opinion Windows Media Player is much better. And yes it is customizable if you know how to do it, it's just not as popular as winamp, I personally have them both on my pc right now, though I don't really know why? Winamp just sits there, I never use it come to think of it I'm gonna remove it as soon as I am done with this post lol but, Windows Media Player is all in one you can play movies on it (at decent quality), listen to songs, create playlists, all sorts of things. And yes I do realize that you can do those thing on winamp as well but it seems very limited, at least to me, and at a less than good quality. Another gripe I have about winamp is that the buttons are so small it is hard to even understand what they are for. I'm not some senile old man or anything either and I don't use glasses or contacts I'm 21 years old and I still can't read the darned buttons lol, in conclusion: Windows Media Player is Superior to WinAmp.

Laser/plasma Canon... what was meant to be the inside
Forsaken replied to JaVe's topic in Art & Creativity
WOW! Very impressive! Did you use 3ds max to make that? I have that program but when I first looked at it I was intimidated and decided that there was no way I could make 3D objects, do you have any advice for me? Where did you learn your skills? -
Yeah, I don't see where that poll helps anyone because I own sever platforms. Here is the list Atari, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Game Cube, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Playstation 1 (the origonal not the updated version) Playstation 2, XBox, and I know it's not a console but I'm gonna throw it in there... My PC. You might ask, "Why do you own all of these consoles?" Well, I have 2 passions in life (well 3, but we wont talk about the other ) They are Web Design and Gaming. I am not rich by any means, but I've simply recieved them from various members of my family & my fiancee for the various holidays. For example one year for christmas My Dad got me an XBox, My Mom got me a Playstation 2, and My Fiancee got me the Gamecube... so needless to say I was pretty busy on christmas morning lol.

Honestly I don't know why people do this. It is truely disturbing! My friend of 5 year's Father was caught and arrested for having sex with a 14 year old girl, he was 42 (this was in Ohio). Supposedly she was concenting and was even the one who instigated the whole thing, and she is the one that got him caught. She also supposedly had sex with another older man and he is also now serving time, so my question is (in this case) is the girl having some mental issues as well? Possibly she was abused by a family member, which resulted in this behavior. In any case there is NO excuse for a 42 year old man to be having sex with a 14 year old girl. NO EXCUSE!
