one of the best ways of getting your site noticed is by putting it on search engines so that when people look for stuff related to your site they can find it. you site is a good looking site and its topic, rims, is something a lot of people talk about so if it where to be on google or something it would have more visitors.

So I was looking at the similar topics piece for a thread I was on, and I noticed 2 things.
The first thing may not be worth fixing, but it's not all that effective at determining what is related. For a thread about Circuit City, the top matched result was a thread about GTA Vice City. (Yeah, it matched the city which is kind of funny)

The second thing should be able to be fixed pretty easily. That same GTA Vice City result I got was from 5 years ago! 0_0 I think it'd be nice if you just added filter to make it from, say, the past 90 days.

i saw the same thing too and i think the reason it does that is because the titles have the words city in them. that can be fixed; they should just make it based on tags when some words match in the tags that when it should be considered similar topics.

yah it would also be even better if it could differentiate new topics from old topics too.

Twilight is so popular amongst people of my age group (I'm a 14 year-old girl) because it's sooooo easy to relate to.
There really isn't anything quite like the kiss of someone whom you really like. . . or even love (I try to be carefull with the word Love, like hate, it's a strong word) and looking into there eyes and knowing, hey! They like me too!

Spoiler! Here's the storyline of Twilight.

Bella moves away from her hometown of Pheonix, Arizona to go live with her dad in Forks, Washington. She dreads the move and even describes the town of Forks as her own personal "Hell on Earth". She ends up making some friends. . . and catching the eye of a few boys at the school too. And then during her first lunch, she sees a beautiful group of people, which one stands out the most (Edward Cullen). He has russett colored hair. She ends up sitting next to him in biology, where he is rather spitefull towards her. But the next day he's completely nice. She has his suspicions about him untill she meets an idian boy named Jacob Black. He tells here why his family does not associate with them, because they are supposedly vampires. Bella does her research and figures out that, yes, the Cullens are in fact vampires. Bella and Edward start spending more and more time with each other where they learn more and more about eachother. Well, one day Edward invites Bella to come play baseball with his whole family. By this point in time the Cullens are very found of Bella, with the exception of Rosalie. Anyway, when they are out playing baseball, three other vampires here them playing and ask if they can play to. . .but then they spot Bella, who just happens to be a human. Carlisle Cullen (Edwards father) tells the foreign vampires to back off, that bella is with them. Two of the vampires are okay with the fact, but the third vampire keeps shooting looks at Bella. Edward snarels at him, which only angers him more. She runs away to pheonix, because both the other two foreign vampires and the Cullens are afraid that now she has no choice, that James thirsts for her blood. He ends up tracking her down, and attempts to kill her. Bella is seriously injured but does survive, thanks to the Cullens.

It does have alot of action, but I will say it tends to be more girl oriented. I love it because it gives me warm fuzzies on the inside

i call all the crazy twilight fans cult members especialy when they start creating teams. all of my friends have read this book and they all love it and they too started creating teams (why are the only dominent teams edward and jacob). anyways i'm curently semi-forced/voluntarily reading "twilight" i've gotten past the first few chapters and the only team i'm on is team charlie. the book starts off very slowly, almost boring even. things don't really start picking up and getting interesting after the van incident. i hav'nt seen the movie but like almost all book movies i here it stank. but so far the book is alright though.

i'd like to help i can code but rather i'd not do very complicated things. i also could theme, all i need to do is study the template style and i'll be ready to go.

i prefer to design my website rather than use a templates, even though i am not the best at designing i think i get what i want that way. but when it comes to things like forums or blogs i would rather get a pre-designed template that i like or looks close t o my site's design, but if i feel like it i like to study the software's template's and make my own template.

well for some people the only reason they buy name brands is so the can say they have the money for it, or they just think the name brand is better. the reason i'd buy name brand is i'd trust that they would function better. i myself i don't buy "knock-offs" very much, i buy name brands but not at name brand prices, i don't buy pants over $25 dollars, shoes over $35, and i don't buy glasses. some things i would rather buy "knock-offs," but there are some things that i would think twice before not buying the name brand like, medication. in my opinions somethings are worth the extra money.(but not all)

just like most of the people have been saying it doesn't really start with the browser. first of all you need to stop going to "bad" websites that's the main problem you should install "McAfee SiteAdvisor" (i know it works for IE and FF). then you definitely need to get an anti virus and an anti spyware ( i have avast and windows defender) also get a firewall (if you want to stick with windows firewall you can but it's not the best). then you should get rid of IE6 you should upgrade to IE7; or if you want to, switch to another browser.

I don't think I'd be interested in that whatsoever.I mean,when I use a coffee tablefor coffee or beer I really don't want to know about a computer at all.
It sounds to me like a real geek thing.Incredibly expensive too.

you know it's not attended for one hundred percent use as a furniture when i first read about this they said i could be a quick way of ordering in restaurants, and i remember seeing on the news that an at&t store was using it as like a way to browse different products. so it's for more than drinking coffee or beer. i think it's a great idea and can be very helpful to businesses not really everyday people.

yes he won i think this is a big step for the US and i know and hope that this will inspire a lot of people, and even though i support obama i hope he brings the US in the right direction like he said he would.

wana know what i realy hate; people that make things i hate posts and don't give any explanations why they hate these stuff. J/K . but seriously you should at least say why you hate these things. here's some reasons i hate some of the things you hate or why i dont hate some of the stuf you hate.

two faced people- yah me too i dont like the too they're your friends one day but your enimy the next; it's kind of sad realy the fact that they can't make any real friends. also you know when someone doesn't like a person but they want to be nice so they act like they dont hate that also makes that person two faced does it not or is that just being polite.

people that dont shut up about the war- if your talking about the iraq war i think people has the right to complain about the war especialy since its a war that most people did not want to get into to begin with.

to get started you should learn some web languages starting with html and css then you could move to javascript and or PHP when you understand html and css. learning these stuff should be easy since for you since you know computer programing. also maybe your site could be about computer programing or about the things you've done with computer programing. managing is a bit easy, just make sure you update your site often to give your users something new to come back to.

pretty soon more people will be using it than IE.

i really disagree with that statement because for as long as windows is the dominating operating system and microsoft keeps providing internet explorer with operating system internet explorer will dominate. also with internet explorer 8 being web complient and having great new features and improvements there will be less reasons to switch. maybe a couple losts here and there but not major ones. but what it think though is that with google chrone coming out internet explorer wont the only browser effected firefox might also get effect; google does have a lot of power.

when you said the three levels of consciousnes i thought you meant the conscious, the subcobscious, and the i think paraconscious ( i dont remember it that much). but i'm assuming you're talking about the id, the ego, and the super ego. while i dont think that's the scientific names but the way you explained it or your teatcher explained it actually makes a lot of sense. because dormant in the subconscious is our primitive selves and the idea of defying the "id" as an animal makes sense because the id pretty much wants every thing no matter what the cost. also defying the "super ego" as god also makes sence because the super ego wants to do things right and want to be perfect, hence godly. also the human being the ego makes since because in general we are the ego, humans, we dont want to be like animals but it is imposible to be godly so we humans are in the middle and we try to keep ourselves from acting like animals and at the realise that we cant make everything perfect.

i would like to live forever, but i'm not afaind of dying because i know it's going to happen eventualy. but what i would'nt want is for me to die at a young age (below at least 80) because i would'nt get to live my life fully and do all the things i want to do. also i would'nt want to die painfully i would just want it to be from old age. anothere thing is that if i live up to 80 i hope i'm not one of those confused old people that can't do anything for themselves, i'd like to be capable to take care of myself.

the layout is good very basic. but for me i don't like the colors but i guess they do make sence because the design is apperently for a paintball website. so i think it's pretty good.

i've been getting the same error message too and it has to do with the mysql detabases i sent a ticket to Xisto - Support and they're checking on it for the time being. you should try Xisto - Support too

there's no referrall progran in Xisto but when i signed up they did say it would be appreciated if you linked back to them, not in those exact words, and i happily linked to them. also, i think a couple of members wanted to start one, but not linking to Xisto but linking to each other. i dont think it got far though

that's actually not very helpfull all i got from it is that my server is being abused. doesnt really say how to solve it

couple of my sites are working a-ok...

does that mean i'm the only person that's having this issue or does it mean you have the same issue but not will all of your sites.
i should also add that one script says acess denied so i'm guessing that it's being blocked from the database. and my wordpress blog is giving me a HTTP 500 "The website cannot display the page" message not a mysql error.

well i'm getting an error message(a databass connection warning) for all of the parts of my site that connects to a mysql database i check my database users pertmissions and i try to do the repair database thing and it's still not woeking. am i the only person having this or is it an overall Xisto issue and how do i fix it.

i actualy have a good friend of mine that meets your discription of yourself about a good 90% she plays the sax but does winterguard, she's smart, loves to debate, she's also open minded (most of the time too). there's actualy very little differences between you two (acting and excercise being the bigest). anyways what i'm trying to get to is that she's had a boufriend for two years and counting, they're very happy together and it's not one of those shildish relationships a mature relationship. the only thig is there's an age different she's 17 and you say your 14. so i dont think there's anything wrong with you because being that i can "tolerate" to be around my friend i guess i could "tolerate" being around you( maybe even a litle bit more , being that i also do some acting). i say it's not you it's just that you have not found the right guy yet; also most fourteen year old guys are not going to comit much to anything. most likely as you get older you will found the right person for you (dont swet it most 14 year old guys are idiots anyways; you dont need that).

In the last topic that was made about this before we were allowed to edit our posts all you had to od was report your application to have your email removed and that's it. Now that we can edit our posts, even they are closed, remove your email address after your hosting account is set up and so that will solve your problem of you email getting caught by the spam bots. Also the Hosting account requests are not index by trap and so you shouldn't worry about that unless you put your email in a post or something.

actualy when i googled the email address i used on the application i only had one result which is the application and when i tried to edit it it said i did not have permission. not that i care too much about that email address it's just everything you've said did not work for me.

I uploaded my IPB 2.3.5 files and now my disc usage is 20/20 MB.The IPB 2.3.5 files rar is 5.11 MB of size.
How is this possible? I'd like to upload my forum, for Central-Gaming (my site I just made) and now I can't because I have reached the maximum limit of disc space.
Any help please?

yah i beleive .rar files are well know for being able to compress very well so 5mb could uncompress into like 15-20mb
i say post some more then upgrade to the higher version; i have it and even though i have a blog, and a forum i've still barely scratched the surface so you should try to upgrade, that would be good.

well i've been waiting for this since i heard about it and after waiting so long it's out. i can say that i'm one of the very few people that actually like internet explore and this is about my experience with internet explorer 8 for about the past three days.

 

installation

installing ie8 was like installing most software?s from miccrosoft, long, since my internet connection is pretty fast downloading was quick but, since my computer is pretty slow, installing it took about an hour and a half. sadly you have to restart the computer and if you have beta 1 installed you have to restart twice. and once that's done it still has to load the settings from ie7.

 

over all

at first look ie8 looks about exactly like ie7 except for the tabs being slicker and thinner and some new buttons. also all the ie7 add-ons works great with ie8 (well the ones i had). but there's an x next to my yahoo toolbar witch i think is kind of pointless. they also added a security button that gives you access to inprivate browsing and the phishing filter and deleting browsing history. also you can only access the add to favorites button when your favorites bar is displayed or by clicking the favorites button.

 

performance

performance wise i think it has improve tremendacely. while i cant say it's faster that firefox but it is a lot faster than ie7. tabs come out quicker but i think it could be faster if the page:about thing did not have so much info in it but that's cool. also in ie7 when reading rss feeds it use to be pretty slow but now it's better. also with the separation off tabs, i dont know how to explain what that means, but i do see that working in between tabs does not effect the other open tabs. standard mode messes up sites that edit themselves to catter to ie users but those sites can be fixed with the emulate button(but not lot of website hade this issue and if they did it was minimal)

 

new features

the most well know new features are the web slices and accelerators. the web slices are ok but there's not a lot of them i only have two installed one from msn and live weather they're both useful and i hope more people start doing this because it's a great feature. accelerators are service that accelerate you browsing experience; while this is true they do accelerate you browsing, but i think the name is seriously a bad one, when i first heard about it i thought it was there to improve the browser's speed. the accelerators are unique to ie8 and i think it's a great idea(for example: you can defy a word using encarta, or find an address using live or google maps), one thing is that some are more convenient than others; if you use live maps you can see the map in the same tab but google map opens a new tab. other things include inprivate browsing(which i wont be using often), a smart browser bar(which is more organized than firefox's awsomebar but function in the same way), search results directly from the search bar(like firefox but unlike firefox it displays images also), and more that i did not use or used much.

 

in general i think internet explorer 8 is going to be a great browser while i don?t think every firefox users are going to switch back but i know that current users have a lot of reasons to stick. i think i'm going to enjoy internet explore eight; all they need to do now is to add some more unique features and maybe spell check that would be wonderful.

i know, i heard about that on webware and i was shocked and i personally think comcast is a little monopoly ish seriously they're like the only cable internet company and the only cable company here in florida at least. i dont think i can go past the limit with my regular browsing but the thing is that i'm using vonage and it's a VOIP so i dont know weather or not i will reach the limit within the first month of this. but the worst part is that after the first afend your internet could be suspended for a WHOLE YEAR. that scares me personaly because i'll be in big trouble if i dont have uinternet for an entire school year i will fail. that would also mean no phone.
