  1. i'm not sure, but i think mostly the big bussiness (money making) sites use asp.NET witch i think means they would use their own server so they have the freedom to do watever. there are some free ASP.NET hosts but yah they're not that good but i think the paid ones are better. the reason PHP is more popular is because it's free and opensource and have lots more programs and maybe you need to do some certain legal-related things to run ASP.NET cause i know it's not opensource. maybe the reason ASP.NET is not so popular is because it's by microsoft and every body loves to hate microsoft. but i think the .NET framework is good, better that Java in my opinion.

  2. Windows Will Have One More SP And Taht Is SP4 It Has Bug's Fix And will be more helpful
idk if it out atm all tho, but it the last one that they are doing for now.. now for Vista SP1 and Sp2 will be out i know that SP1 is out now but there is Bugs on it. idk what one atm but i will get you posting on that.. now for Visit ppl,, plz note this They are Taking Off visit off the stores this year, the reson on this is well there is pobms with the cmd...

and get this All tho longhorn fans out there did you know that visit has it build in it?

to me i like longhorn then other OS that there is... but that just me now is it

dude you've got your info all messed up you still refer to vista as longhorn(that was a code name). as for an XP sp4 from what i hear it's not going to happen.(i think microsoft moved a little too fast but watever).

Windows 7 has been toss around since the end of last year beginning of this year, not much is known but people can't figure out if it is a stand alone operating or just a update for vista. However, from the images that I have seen it seems to be just an update then a stand alone operating system though.

from what i've heard it's a stand alone version i think they're calling it vierna, i'm not sure, i hope it gets a better rep then vista cause if it don't i think windows might be in big doudou.

  3. Nah, they'll continue complaining. Why? They don't live in the U.K. And for those that do, you should expect them to be complaining more than the ones that live in the U.S. ;) Will we be seeing you guys coming on over? Gas is cheaper. :)

kinda the biggest overstatemen ever. ;)
prices here are crazy high it's like 4 dollors a gallon now. normally i wouldn't complain but since i've started driving i have no choice. i just hope we switch to cheaper alternative fuels and get rid of fossil fuel for good. ($4 a gallon solar cars look great no matter how ugly looking they can be :) )

  4. i think that all stereotypes have an underlying truth to them, no kidding, for example about every gas station i've gone to had someone from the middle east or some sorts working there, and yes a mojority of hispanic imigrants do lawn work, and most of the jews i know have money. you may say it's coensidential, yah true i agree, but likely that's how most stereotypes begun. so maybe a while back a lot of girls who where blond thought they were the best looking things ever and got everything they wanted so they stop caring about education so vouala here you go the start of a stereotype. but no offence to you don't take that kind of stereotype to heart because it's not hurting blonds at all there's a lot more serious steriotypes that effects bigger populations (ex. if you fill an application they aks for you race/nationality not your hair color). so dont worry no one really seriously thinks that blonds are dumb i sure don't but the jokes are funny.

  5. well since i started web desighning i've always used internet explore (why?) well when i first tried FF2, i wasn't a "web-designer" then so i didn't care much about css and htlm stuff, i din't like it and one of the reason was beacause a couple of the sites i visited wasnt firefox compatible. but anyways recently i was desighning a site for this community. so like two weeks ago i downloaded FF3 for testing purposes. in IE the site looked great but what i found was that in firefox the site was horible, as bad as they could come. so since firefox was better with compatibility i decited to desighn it based on firefox standards and it looked great on both FireFox and internet explorer.despite internet explore being more popular around the regular web surfers i think if you desighn your site towards firefox's standards it would work and look great on both IE and FF.so anyways did any of you guys had the same experience before and do you agree with my logic?

  6. i installed FF3 (which works great) on my flash drive for testing perposes (web desighning). anyways yesterday at school since i had time i went to the library to use it but i realise that my history and bookmarks where not saved on the flash even though i imported (duh i know they're on my hard drive).i'd like to know how can i put my history and favorites (or at least my favorites) on my flash drive and how to make sure that the browser knows that and that's what it uses not the one on the hard drive.thank you ;)

  7. Me and my girlfriend are both pretty big movie buffs, but at the same time love to read. Lately we've been having a pretty big discussion about our distaste for books being turned into movies. The most recent "big" book title to be turned into a movie is, one of our favorite book series, Twilight.
Twilight is an amazing book and I'm really looking forward to the movie. She, however, is very upset that they decided to make the book into a movie as it will "ruin her view of the characters." We can both agree that the movie will not compare to the book; however, I enjoy watching movies that derived from a book as it furthers my perception of characters and being a visual person it really helps me get back in touch with books I've read in the past.

So what do you guys think? Do you enjoy movies that are derived from books or are you like my girlfriend who absolutely hates when they put your favorite books on the big screen?
( I'm sorry if this is not the right place, I looked and this seemed most fitting.)

from what i've experienced whenever you read a book and then see it's movie normaly the movie is bad but i cant say that comes out the same for every book-to-movies.
but in twilight's case i hear its going to be bad. two of my friends love the series but when they heard about the movie and saw who was going to do the acting they said it was going to be bad. though i never read the book but since they have i can trust their opinion.

  8. Where do I go to do all this? I've tried the following urls to get to my cpanel, and neither work:http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
    http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
The proxy service I used said my site is up and functioning, though. I just can't access it. I pm'd BH this question today, but if someone else happens to figure this one out before he gets here at 11pm maybe I can save him the hassle.

Oh, and one more thing. Is my domain considered an "ADD-ON?" I registered my domain elsewhere and am hosted here via this url: http//vivianbritton.com

yah the same thing happened to me it was because the server blocked your ip just go to Xisto - Support and ask them (in a live chat) if they could fix it. it's done instantly so try that.

  9. i not going to say its a hoax but a missunderstanding due to the media because the first time i heard about thins the news title was "preganant man blah blah blah" but when i read more into it i'd say its a not a pregnant men it's a preagnant women(big woop right happens all the time). the only difference is that she's apperently legaly a women(AKA a sex change but kept her women parts), her partner could not get pregnant and so here you go. its not a pregnant man its a pregnant transvestite thats all, so not a hoax really.

  10. yah i had the same problem yesterday afternoon but on top of that i could not access the Xisto forum or FTP but now its working for me so i can only assume it should be working for everybody by now. but i dont think php is working because my blog, forum, and the only php page i have is not working, and still no access to cpanel and i can only assume no acess to FTP either.

  11. I hear a lot of people talk about how bad Vista is, and how its gltichy and buggy and programs dont work... But can somebody please go into detail? Ive been using Vista for almost a year and I havent had any problems of the sort. In fact, I prefer it over my xp.
Could it be that those who havent tried it personally, don't like it? They have just heard horror stories? Or is it that somebody had a bad experience and then spreads those stories until it gets to the point where some people think vista doesnt even run properly?

Vista came built on my laptop, then I swapped for a bigger hd and reinstalled with the OS disk provided with the computer. Could it be that all the problems come from people who upgrade from xp to vista? Not just vista in general? And even then, that stuff was probably fixed relitavely quickly.

(On a side note my laptop is a tablet convertable and vista's integrated tablet/touchscreen features are great, apposed to having to get a different version of xp, or Mac's lack of any full sized tablets. [Hello, just make a bigger iPhone])

What are your thought's/experiences? Somebody please enlighten me unto these apparent extremely common glitches I seem to be missing out on.

Of course it could always just be a "beat up the other guy" marketing strategy by Mac...

    Discuss.

i dont have vista personaly but i did spend a day using a friends computer and use other peoples once and a while. it wasnt buggy whenever i've used it but the permission stuff like "this is about to do this should we let it " comes up very often and can get anoying i bet. besides that,i did not see a lot of really bad stuff.

sometimes low end computers dont run a system has well as a high end one. for example i'm using XP but its running on a realy low end computer and XP performs pretty swoly and if i had the money i would love to switch to vista. about the upgrades i hear it's always a bad idea to upgrade OSes, so most likely an upgrade would be very buggy.

I dont understand all this. Im getting a new PC in the next week or so. If Vista is soooo bad then why cant i find a new pc anywhere with XP on it ?
Im not good with computers and stuff but have found one with the following:

    Graphics ATI 2400Pro
    Hard Drive Size 500GB
    Memory Size 3GB
Operating System Windows Vista Home Premium
PC Processor Intel Core 2 Duo
    PC Processor Bus 800 MHz
    PC Processor Cache 2MB
    PC Processor Model Number E4500
    PC Processor Speed 2.2 GHz

So if i bought a pc with them specs so to say would Vista slow my pc down lots ?

Ive heard lots of bad things about Vista but never seen it or tried it. Someone said i can buy a pc with vista on and then uninstall it and install XP is this correct ?

the reason that most of them are running vista is probably because really soon microsoft is going to stop support for XP. yah i hear you can unistall vista and then install xp i dont know if it's true though.

  12. the best free HTML editor i ever used was microsoft visual studios express edition it's great, fast, and has some great features like FTP auto conplete and more. it does HTML, CSS, javasript, and ASP, i dont remember the others. when i had it it worked great posibly the best. but its a pretty big download with the .NET framework.

    https://www.visualstudio.com/vs/visual-studio-express/

also another good one, that i'm using right now, is eclipse with the Web Tool Platform plug-in it works good you can also get the PHP development tool its good too. this one does about everything visual studeos does, but it's pretty slow (maybe because it runs on java) and you have to be really patiant with it. if you're not patient with it will get on your bad side.

  13. well im making this website for this community and the best way to catter to their needs i saw was by installing a CMS. i'm testing Joomla right now (because it's so populare) but it seems a bit too packed a little complicated and the desighn doesnt look too good when installed (dont know why).i'm looking for something that's:light weighthas lots of features (maybe a forum and a blog)also it would be nice if it's easy for me to desighn my own template for this CMS.i'll keep testing more CMSes but i'm asking for your opinions thaks in advance.

  14. yah you can do that but it can only search content on your site, cant search others like google or somethin. my site has a search engine and its TSEP it works pretty well. you can try this but theres a couple more out there.also google can do this too but it has to index your site witch did not work very well with my site but you can try it yourself.

  15. i think the worst pick up line i ever heard was this one "if you where a bugger i'd pick you first" clearly childish thats why i think its so stupid.
this i got by email it's realy funny it's part of my sites jokes

1.) Male: Haven't I seen you some place before? Female: Yes,that's why I don't go there anymore. 2.)Male: Is this seat empty? Female: Yes, and mine will be if you sit down.
3.)Male: Your place or mine?Female: Both. You go to yours and I'll go mine.
4.)Male: So, what do you do for a living. Female: I'm a female impersonator.
5.)Male: Hey baby, what's your sign? Female: DO NOT ENTER.
6.)Male: How do you like your eggs in the morning? Female: Unfertilized.
7.)Male: Your body's like a temple Female: Sorry, there are no services today.
8.)Male: I would go to the end of the world for you. Female: But would you please stay there?
9.)Male: If I saw you naked, I'd die happy. Female: If I saw you naked,I'd die laughing.
