  1. Firefox all the way! Fast, elegant, clean... just great. Oh, and the add-on system is awesome, as it is open sourced you can do a lot more with them .
  2. Yes, the file size limit is really stupid. However, the main reason why I don't use them is because they limit your databases to 10MB. 10MB? Come on -- you should allow bigger databases than that... I mean, the SQL file for my database is 60MB, not sure how big of a database that will create, but still... 10MB is not enough.
  3. Wow, Godaddy is just terrible. Well, their shared hosting is anyway. I used it for awhile and it was always really slow. Then, after a few weeks or so, they said I was using too much CPU time and they booted me off. All I was running was a phpBB forum. Not a fan of them, and I wouldn't suggest them to anyone. It's too commercialized anyway, they restrict a lot of stuff and they really need cPanel -- instead they have their own crappy control panel. Oh well, just don't use them :-P.
  4. I really don't think Google Earth Plus does anything for the average consumer. I am pretty sure it's just for corportations and what not. I do know one thing, though, that it has better printing and screenshoting. It tells the exact new stuff that Plus adds on Google Earth's Web Page (http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/) Here is a quote of the additions: So, it's not really that much stuff that's new. If you plan to print pictures it's good, but otherwise IMO it's not worth it.
  5. What types of d2? hardcore? softcore? ladder non ladder? we've had a diablo 2 clan for a couple years now, and if it's a Hardcore ladder clan, we'd love to see what you got oh, and a side note: how many members you have and such? i'd love to hear more a bout this clan, the competition is always appealing
  6. All the Baldur's Gate's would be very good. Or Guild Wars, which is like Diablo II.Also, you can't forget about all the Pay-Per-Month RPGs, which I hear are very good. Personally, I don't want to pay-per-month, but it may be something to look in to. World of Warcraft looks pretty sweet when I saw a friend play it...
  7. I agree with you, flash drives are pretty damn study. Well, my PNY one is anyways. I have sent it through the laundry before, and it didn't do anything to it. It kept all the data and everything. Pretty cool.
  8. Meh, I think this list really doesn't prove much. I don't see how a lot of them got up there, like Firefox or The Sims. Sure, Firefox is cool, but is it THAT big of an improvement over other products aready out there? Not really... Same with The Sims... sure it's a good, new game, but it's just a video game of you playing a person instead of living your own life...
  9. Just buy a PC. No one likes MACs. It seems like that's too much overkill. I mean c'mon, do you really need that much to do graphics or video... because that's all they are good for.
  10. I think they are starting to take some fire from AMD, so they want to do something new to regain some of the marketplace. Who knows... Intel sucks.
  11. I have gotten this for having an external harddrive attached while I reboot my computer. I have no idea what it is, or why it has anything to do with it. But, try unplugging all your USB devices and see if that helps.
  12. I actually think Nintendo's new console may be pretty cool. They have been going down the shitter as of late, but I think they have promise. The new controller looks interesting, and may cause more attention to the console, which gamecube never had. IMO, the biggest problem of Nintendo's is not having the game manufactuer's support, and not have any big name games. Sony has Square and a lot of other big names, while XBox has Bungie and stuff... but Nintendo has... nothing? I think with the new controller companies may be willing to make great games for it, because it offers something new. But then it always goes down to if the users will buy it. Generally, people don't like THAT big of change, so maybe no one will want it... who knows...
  13. Yeah, I followed them for awhile when they first launched. They thought that the dust would destroy their solar panel's, but apparently they are still doing okay. Pretty cool .
  14. It's pretty cool that things are getting so small and yet are still very big. However, IMO it's not worth it at all. Just buy a external hard drive for the same price and have 300 GB of space, or just get a 1GB flash drive for $50. The technology is cool, but there are a lot better alternatives.
  15. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is, IMO, one of the best games ever made. It had a wonderful plot, as well as lots and lots and lots of side missions and other stuff. It kept you hooked for a long, long time.As for PS3 and GTA... I think it's going to be amazing. The jump from GTA2 to GTA3 was just awesome, and I wouldn't doubt it will be awesome for GTA3 to GTA4. I know that for GTA3: Vice City, they used every single space possible on the DVD disc, and they couldn't even fit one more texture. So, moving from DVD to Blu Ray will be a huge advantage on it's own, let alone moving from a 300 MHz CPU to a 6-core 3.2 GHz CPU and all the other technical advancements. So I think PS3's GTA will be amazing .
