Yeah, I agree, a very shallow reaction. I'm not saying its unjustified, only that she didn't deceive you to lie to you. She was probably embarassed and really thought she might stand a chance with you because you seemed like the sort of guy that wouldn't care. Had you asked, I'm sure she would have explained why her voice sounded so weird like that. It's sad that you reacted so meanly towards her because she probably already has a negative self image and this definitely isn't going to help any. It would have been better had you said that she is really nice and all but you think it's best if you just remain friends.I think you're being a little insensitive, but I agree that this story makes me want to hear more that you have had, lol.

Asking A Girl Out which movie is appropriate?
Rosaline replied to Mofomilitia's topic in Dating And Relationships
I agree, definitely go with Superbad. You want her to feel good and laughing and watching funny movies makes people feel good, naturally. And, if you're lucky and play your cards right, by the end of the night she'll be "blaming" the happy feelings on YOU and not the movie!! Nice little cheat you have going there. It'll work fabulously.Oh, and don't forget to buy her some popcorn and soda and candy if she wants!! Even if she says no, at lesat get her some popcorn. Unless he doesn't like popcorn, of course, lol. And just to show your suave and in control, ask for extra butter. =)Good luck! Let us know how it goes, I want to know what happens between the two of you. Best of luck! -
When Does Flirting Cross The Line?
Rosaline replied to TikiPrincess's topic in Dating And Relationships
I agree that it probably depends on the person. There is some harmless flirting that occurs between people of the opposite sex, and I don't really think you can avoid that. It's just the nature of things. However, if your intention is harmless, as in you're just doing it because it is your friend and it's entertaining and makes you happy, then that's different then if your intention was that you wanted them to want you or you wanted them yourself. If your intention has anything to do with sexual intentions or intentions of love or wanting to be love, I don't think it's fair to your mate at all.Of course, there are some limitations to this theory. Obviously, if you are a guy and just kiss random girls because it makes you feel good even though there is no sexual or love intention, it's still cheating simply because there are lines you shouldn't cross regardless of what your intentions are. I think the most important thing is to define "cheating" with your partner. That way you are both clear. And if your partner has a problem with your definition of cheating, then they need to reconsider their intentions in the relationship. Personally, I want a guy that would sacrifice letting women sit in his lap if I told him that such behavior was offensive to me. And if they don't want to, then maybe they're not ready to commit fully to you.Relationships are all about sacrifice and compromise. -
I'm not sure how to go about doing it... I got my hosting credits back to above 5 credits, but my site is still not unsuspsended. Is there a process I have to go through to do this? If so, I assume I need to post here.Really sorry if this is the wrong spot, I'm just kind of urgent to get it back up again. I just moved into college so was a bit slacking on my trap account! Sorry!!http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

That sounds so horrible and awful, I am really sorry for you. I agree with the comments already given, and suggest that you just force yourself to hang out with other people. Do things you have a great time doing. Maybe if you are old enough and have enough money you can go on a road trip with some friends and just get away from places that remind you of her. You know, pull a "Wild Hogs"! It's always good to get away from the old and start a new life without her.It sucks that she's doing that to you, she's probably just doing what she thinks is best for you and doesn't want to give you hope... you both loved each other at one point, remember that the memories are real, but that sometimes love isn't meant to last forever. There is still a girl out there EVEN BETTER and you might not find her yet, but in the meantime you should spend time bettering yourself for her. Don't make the same mistakes again.Just give your girl time. Eventually she'll be calling YOU asking for YOU back and that's when you can tell her that you moved on and are doing great. Just hang in there! Things will get better I promise!!!

I know for my first year of college I wasn't sure at all what I needed and what I didn't. Turns out I brought some of the necessary things, but left behind others that totally slipped my mind. Now that it's my second year, I feel like I did much better, but I'm wondering what other essentials I've forgotten. What are your favorite things that you have brought to college for your dorm living experience? So far I've found a mini fridge, microwave, and electronic tea kettle/coffee pot to be extremely useful and definitely necessary! Sometimes it's too late to go to the cafe and it's always nice to have food available for when you're feeling lazy. I heard that bringing a blender can be good, though I never have. I think one of my suitemates this year brought one, but we've yet to use it.Any tips/suggestions on what to bring? I'd love to hear what special objects you guys have found!

Eye contact. Sense of humor. If a guy can make me laugh, I want to keep him around. I honestly don't think physical attributes matter too much because when you turn old and grey, everything starts to sag anyway. A guy that can make me laugh when we're sitting around in our living room playing chinese checkers with the grandchildren, that's what I'm looking for.

It's only been a month. Feelings aren't supposed to just 'go away'. It's very possible that your friendship with the girl was a convience, like you said, you 'cried on each others shoulders'. Even given, what's the harm of checking to see if the feelings are still there? I'd think they would be at least a little bit, unless she has been swept off of her feet by someone else. Don't get down on yourself. Theres many, many, many fish in the sea. Cheer up!

I was in an accident once. I'd just gotten my license, and leaving the high school parking lot there was always a huge traffic jam of inexperienced drivers. Well theres a few hills, and when I came over one hill I had to slow down pretty quickly becuase there was someone making a left hand turn up ahead and there was four cars stopped behind him. Well, I'm stopped and I see a big red dodge stratus coming towards me, really fast. The driver never even tried to slow down. I was in a VW Golf at the time, and the immediate impact knocked me out but after she hit me my car hit the car infront of me, and so on down the line until four cars infront of me were involved, and then 3 cars behind me (including the red dodge) were involved, because they couldn't stop fast enough. Turns out there was a cop right there at the scene sitting behind the hill with a radar gun clocking people, and he had her red dodge at 52 mph when she hit me. The accident also happened right infront of a bank where there was a camera next to the drive-up windows. The camera caught the accident perfectly. She (driver of the dodge) hit me, and then hit the gas and hit me again, while my front bumper was against the car infront of me. Twisted the frame of my car, but that little VW saved me. So did the seatbelt. I had minor whiplash and a small concussion, I was only out cold for about 2 minutes, but if I didn't have my seatbelt on I would've certainly not been able to share my story. I'll take a few cracked ribs over a cracked skull.

Hello everyone!I was just wondering if anyone had played Final Fantasy 11. I was thinking about getting it, but I just wanted to hear some feedback on whether or not it was good. I love the Final Fantasy series, and it's cool that it's multiplayer online. Has anyone played it? How is it? I just wanted to know before buying it and spending money on the fee it costs to play ;; Thanks so much for any feedback! I'd love to hear if it's worth it or not.

Marathon Training? Looking for a training plan
Rosaline replied to insomniac_zach's topic in Health & Fitness
I don't have any tips on exercising and dieting, but I can say that I am very impressed!! I know that I would definitely pass out after like, 3 miles, let alone 11. And that's only if I took breaks to walk and such. So, nice work with being in good cardio shape and such. Let us know how your marathon goes, it will be interesting to hear how you did! I'll try and find some tips to pass along, I know a few people who did a lot of cross country stuff. How long have you been running?Best of luck with your marathon!! -
If You Were A Superhero, What Would Be Your One Power?
Rosaline replied to fallenfirebanshi's topic in General Discussion
I would have to say flying. Or, if not flying, then the ability to turn into any animal so that I could morph into a bird and THEN fly I think that feeling is fabulous, and the amount of stress that would be relieved by "going out for a fly" would be awesome. Not to mention it's a quick way to get around without paying for gas, lol. I think I'd prefer being more of a side-kick though, personally, especially if flying was my only power because I don't really think I could defeat the arch nemesis and enemies of utter DOOM and DEVISTATION unless I had some super-strong macho guy helping me out, lol. Still, an interesting thing to ponder! -
Water Power An Alternative To Gas
Rosaline replied to imskaterpunk's topic in Science and Technology
Too bad fuel prices as so sky high and this whole water energy idea won't be able to work until past our generation. It's good that people are exploring alternative methods, though, because obviously there is a problem and our fuel sources aren't going to last forever. I'm hoping that someone is working in secret of a new fuel source and tomorrow they'll announce it and gas prices will plummet ;; We can dream, right? lol -
If You're From Us, You Could Make $100-$500 Every Month!
Rosaline replied to Vis3r's topic in Business Forum
Has anyone else tried this? Does it actually work? Let me know, because I'm interested in adding something like this to my forum. I'd just like to know if it works or not from more than one person. I heard that the google ads are the best and most successful... I'll have to do some researching, but any comments on the one that is mentioned here would be fabulous as well. -
Cream Puffs Cream puffs are easy to make
Rosaline replied to communitykat's topic in Health & Fitness
Whoa, that seems so simple. I will definitely have to give this recipe a shot because my dad LOVES cream puffs. And homemade cream puffs would be a perfect father's day present, eh? Especially since Father's Day is coming up sometime in the near future.Well, thanks for the awesome recipe. Has anyone tried it out yet? Do they taste divine? Just wanting to know if I really should give it a shot or not -
Wow, that turned out awesome. I am definitely going to have to try and give this a shot... not to mention you make it look so simple! Thanks!

Hey everyone! I've been posting on the forums for awhile now, but I never did do a forum introduction. So here it is... long over due!My site is an advanced/literate fantasy/medieval RP forum, which is why I'm so interested in the free hosting here. If anyone likes post-by-post RP's and wants to check out mine, please PM me and I'll send you the link. It is for advanced/literate writers, however, just keep that in mind Anywho, more about me. I love theatre and acting, and just about anything drama related. I've directed, written and starred in plays. I've done some costuming, though nothing major because I can't really make them, just pick them out best on metaphorical things like colors, styles, and time periods XD. I am planning on being a theatre/english teacher, high school level, assuming I get out of college alive.Other then that, I enjoy playing volleyball, writing, reading, shopping, and just partying with the friends. I balance my online time and my social life pretty well, so things work out. Let me know if you have questions about me or anything!Otherwise... it's a pleasure to be here! I'm sure I'll see many of you around.

I actually found it in Google, though slightly by chance. I was searching for specially a forum host, and Google returened a match that was two people on Xisto having a conversation about uploading a forum onto their hosting account. After looking around some, I fell in love and applied as soon as I was able. So far I definitely haven't been let down Thank you google!!!

Yeah, men are lucky that it really doesn't matter, lol. And I agree that after Final Destination 3 people might fear tanning XD That scene was fabulously disturbing, lol. If I ever heard that Roller Coaster song while in a tanning bed I would definitely freak out.Exercising outside is a good idea... that's double benefits. Exercise plus you get a tan.

What I REALLY hate is when the guys think they understand what it feels like to be PMS. They don't, lol. It is very horrible, because you're feeling real feelings and you just have to attribute them to SOMETHING. It's very frustrating, especially since for me, a lot of the feelings that surface during PMS are actually logical feelings that have been bothering me for awhile, I've just been keeping them subconscious. I feel bad for the guys, but they really don't understand, lol. I'm in a long distance relationship, and PMSing days are sometimes the worst. Talk about feeling lonely. It's horrible! I didn't think it could get worse :lol:Does taking birth control pills help anyone with PMS? I know it helped me with cramps, but other then that, didn't have much affect on the emotions or anything. Alas. We will survive somehow. ... Maybe XD
