pretty much, i think.. like you go to the subdomain blahblah.domainname.com and it brings you to a forum, and when i click a topic on that forum (how i have it now, and i want to fix) it just... goes back to the long url which is.. blahblah.blahblah.blahbha.com/showtopic=8 but i just want it to be blahblah.domainname.com/showtopic=8 i think it has to do with the htaccess? but i think you have the general just of it.

k, so i have a host, domain and everything. i made a subdomain, and i want it to like.. take place of a forum hosted by jcink... and i want it like.. to still have the.. extensions of the jcink forum.. like.. if i go to a forum in the subdomain (the forum hosted by jcink) i want the subdomain to have showtopic=8 or whatever at the end. oyu get me? if you need further explination, ask

I know, nol tried to use this script.. and erm.. i think failed.. but i installed it all good, works fine, UNTILL........ i tried to add a new option to the registration. Well, i think if anything is index.extension it will work, but im not sure which one overrules all. And if you are using ftp, just go to www and upload your html files.Or you can do what nol said, but i think ftp is better, he doesnt -.-

Ok, so i just got the 280 domain thing, forumbuilderz.net i set it as a parked domain, but i want to get rid of the subdomain, and replace that with it, (15 credits) so i go to the process page, and click "change your domain/subdomain (15 credits)" I click that, enter my username and password, and then enter my domain that i already got, without www. and when it finished, i got this: Please help and tell me!

lol smart, i was wondering that before, before i thought logicly and its just like a subdomain.. isnt it unlimited, and are the emails unlimited? (untill you run out of room of course) but yes you have subdomains as SM said

still, only 4 days :s Imean, i thought that that would be the first place they would look when going on the forums, and its only OpaQue who can do it, but are you talking about a host? im talkinga bout a domain name for the 280 credit thing. I didn't think it would take this long, i might temperarily shut down my forum and site until i get it, because i think they are getting very annoyed, because i already set everything up to work with the domain, so not a lot of links work!

He said only OpaQue could do it, i have seen him on MULTIPLE times, still nothing, it is really frustrating! argh. I know he is trying to get the script working, but does he HAVE to have the script? isnt that just to make things easier?

I am very angry right now about my domain name. it has been there SEVEN DAYS! OpaQue has been on a lot, and NEVER approved it, i don't think he looked at it! I sent him a pm, i sent a support ticket, like serverph told me to. STILL NOTHING. Serverph bumped it,a nd changed the title, he said he added a note in the moderator thing, or whatever he said, still nothing. I know this is really a great host and everything, but i was told that my domain would be approved within 24 hours, more like 168 hours! please just approve it, im not happy AT ALL. I have been telling everybody.,, another day..

Good signature for pretty nooby people, sorry for people \who don;'t know how to do that, but I have to admit, it is pretty simple. I just got into a situation on my board of somebody who didn'tknow how to do it, if only you had made that tutorial by then, i would have showed him, and laughed. I don't think i ever didn't know how to add my signature, i am not the smartest with computers or things like that, but i mean this is kind of obvious,..,

YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE RENDER man was its face dark, i had to use the dodge tool to brighten it up. lol the first one is just a cool techy sig i like it.. its my style. nowadays i play aroundw/ photoshop more then make sigs.. so you wont see asmany as usual
