  1. No, but it might be effective. LOL. Is it legal to carry pepper spray? I thought it wasn't but maybe it is legal and something else is illegal and I'm just getting mixed up. It should be, but I think some places make it illegal.
  2. I feel lucky, I have no assignments for the summer, no one at my school does.
  3. I think it's a little more convenient, so I like it. Only problem is that I'm using a greasemonkey script that makes the background black and the text white, and when I hit more all I get is a white bar, so I'll have to change that or stop using the script.
  4. Would yahoo be faster since it's used by fewer people? Milliseconds doesn't matter to most people (I don't know anyone it would matter to), Google has better results, so what do I care if it takes it a few more milliseconds to get them?
  5. I just googled it and it turns out there are, for really seriously short people or something. She almost definitely doesn't need them though.
  6. Are .com's and .net's currently the same price? Most registrars charge the same for both I thought, or else only a dollar apart.
  7. I've used FireFox for a while now and I would agree that it's the best. IE isn't standards compliant, which is incredibly annoying, especially since so many people use it. I downloaded Opera pretty recently, maybe it's better, I haven't decided yet, it is pretty good.
  8. I think suicide is a right. It's not a right that should be exercised often (obviously, the maximum is once), but it's your life you can do whatever you want with it, including end it. A lot of people who commit suicide probably didn't consider it as carefully as they should have though.
  9. Definitely, for people prone to seizures. I really do have a headache now. Why is there a dove flying around that's ten times bigger than the text? I saw a site a lot like this on webpagesthatsuck.com (it too wanted me to accept Jesus and had flashing colors), but this is worse. Far worse. When I see sites like that I wonder what the designers think of it. They probably think it's great.
  10. I think he made it his real homepage, http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ shows a page like what JDameron described (black and blue, a little narrow, computers on the front, it's not boring). Assuming that is the page you're talking about, it's nice. The only thing I can think of is the space in between lines on the top image and maybe the width (or lack of width), maybe a favicon would add to it.
  11. It's stuff the government doesn't want you to know about, sure, but I doubt there are any aliens, they're just testing planes over there (I watched a documentary once about Area 51 where the guy said they had spaceships that took off like a helicopter, straight up. Why would they need one of the longest runways in the world for ships that go straight up.). I wouldn't be surprised if the government pushed the alien ideas just a little bit themselves though. Roswell was probably just something like that too, they were spying on the USSR or something I heard, they didn't want anyone to know that, so they let people believe they were aliens.
  12. Maybe the name of the site is supposed to be "Your Title Here"? That makes no sense but it seems like they'd change it if they changed all the other things. "Was $1097 Now Free"? It's worse than an infomercial.
  13. Is it for any particular kind of site or can any site join? It seems random, when I get a site up maybe I'll join, good luck with it.
  14. My school has a "college center" where there's a guidance counselor without any assigned students but who runs the AP program and knows apparently anything there is to know about applying, is there anything like that where you go? If you're in the US (or maybe even if you're not), I'd check out collegeboard.com, they might have something useful there.
  15. I think they exist, I tried asking my pre-calc teacher about something a little like that once and he went off on a tangent (OMG that was the lamest joke on the face of the planet) that I didn't really follow. Math teachers are not people I like disagreeing with.Circle definitions are confusing, it all depends on which one you use. If I put a compass point in the corner of a ceiling (so where the ceiling and two walls meet) and go all the way around, it still meets some textbook definitions of a circle. Since it's one three surfaces though, and covering 90 degrees for each, it's only 270 degrees, so is it a circle or not?I don't know if this is what I hate about math or what I like about it.
