There are few things you MUST know to install phpnuke CMS (unless your web hosting provider offer you Auto PHP-Nuke installation feature with Fantastico or cPanel).
A. How to create a mySQL database and user using phpMyadmin
B. How to edit simple .php file.
RavenNuke (enhanced and most secure version of original php-nuke) is the easiest to install.
1. Download the complete RavenNuke package for free from above URL.
2. Upload all the files that are inside html folder(inside the above package) to your root(main) web server directory where you want to install the PHP-Nuke.
3. Create a MySQL database and user
4. Edit the config.php file (it's inside the root/main directory of phpnuke) which you already uploaded to your server. All you have to Edit the following 3 lines.
$dbpass = 'YOUR DATABASE PASS';
$dbname = 'YOUR DATABASE USER NAME'; linenums:0'>$dbuname = 'YOUR DATABASE NAME';$dbpass = 'YOUR DATABASE PASS';$dbname = 'YOUR DATABASE USER NAME';
5. Run installSQL.php from your web browser. The file is inside INSTALLATION folder which is in the root/main phpnuke directory too. So, type and run http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ in your web browser.6. Run setup.php from your web browser like the same way mentioned above.
During step#6, your have to configure your phpnuke. Suppose adding an admin account, password, site name, slogan etc.
I hope this small tutorial will help. If not, then here is more :

If this does not help either then i guess you have to hire someone in order to install your PHP-Nuke CMS.
