  1. I know, some honestly are worthless, but again as I told you... Some sigs were made for people, who did ask to use certain elements. Or in the case of the game signatures, I had to stay true to my biography of that particular character. I enjoyed doing that vector, even though my neck is still sore LOL. I wanted to learn to use the pen tool in Photoshop, thus I tried this one. Now I am working on an anchor to use in a logo :P

  2. Some sigs and stuff I have been working on ... it's been a while since I actually did anything siggy related though.

  3. In all honesty, the entire thread here is against trap's TOS. SO I am closing the thread right now.Software that is actually software you need to pay, you pay for it. Period. There is no such thing as obtaining paid software for free and it being legal.

  4. I never used Asta before, but after visiting their site, I noticed that they only offer 2gb of bandwidth for Package 2, while Xisto offers 5gb. Xisto rocks.

Actually, both Trap and Xisto - Support 5GB of Bandwidth

Asta doesnt supply MysQl databases...where Xisto supplies 99! :P SCORE!

The correct info here is, both sites have MySQL and it's both the same amount, as long as you have sufficient diskspace you can add MySQL databases :(

Xisto is better well due to the fact i been here since sept of last year even though they are hosted by hte same people it don't really make since to post on both sites even though you can get like 300mb of web  space thats like a few thousands worth of webpages with nothing much on them :D

    134912[/snapback]

Mike, even YOU should know that trying to get hosted on both sites will get you banned from both, I've cuaght a few of those cases myself and pushed the ban button as well.

I am hosted on Xisto, and I see no reason to actually say either one is better than the other. The service is the same, so are the features. The only difference is the forum where you post in. Xisto is more technically oriented, whereas Trap focusses more on gaming and photoshop. As mentioned before, trap is low key compared to Xisto. Personally (as admin of Xisto and mod here) I can tell you a few things.

In Xisto, the mods and admins are far more stricter than here. For example short posts, here, it depends on the other posts, on Xisto it doesn't. A short post (a one liner) is spam, doesn't matter what it is about. Unless it is in a no-post-count forum, then I don't bother.

  5. Honestly, I use Style XP (I tried to go for the Aqua theme with Icons) and it does slow down my pc, but I do have to say that there's a major downside. I installed a theme, Aqua - which is a Mac OS X look-a-like - and I couldn't get my icons back to normal so I had to manually sort all of that. I haven't tried Windows Blinds in ages to be honest. Maybe I should. What I found to be the most aggrevating part about Style XP is when you actually download a theme and install it. Ever noticed that it tries to install 2 extra SPYWARE pieces?? And you can not disable that. So Style XP didn't have my vote there. As far as theming Win XP goes, just make sure you have Plus! installed, which is a Microsoft piece and you can just unzip themes in the theme folder under Plus! and then you have themes as well, with all the bells and whistles from XP themes. But without the spyware hassle.

  6. Well, I have to be honest here. I bought my pc online, but I did ask for verification of identity. Meaning, in Belgium all businesses (legitimate that is) need a BTW number (taxes), and through that number you can find their name address etc. So when that checked out, I did deposit some money to allow the order to go through, and to my surprise (I swear I thought it was a rip off) I heard back from that guy, and 5 days later I had my pc standing in front of me. Everything worked out fine, I had what I ordered (be it with an illegal windows XP on it - but that could be fixed, since I never paid for a license to him). So I had good experiences with buying online  If you don't mind, you could write a review about the service etc. With their name and a link :P

  7. In the beginning, before creation, there was a war in heaven where satan took a third of th angels and fought Jesus. Jesus won.

Ok, how can Jesus win a war when he's not even born? Because before the creation of what we call Earth, there was no Jesus. Because he was born in the year 0AD. There were maaaaany millions of years before that, before his birth.
In case you wonder about my nickname, yes I am a witch. And no, that doesn't make me whatever associated with what you call satan. I don't believe in satan, nor do I believe in the concept of pure evil and pure good. Everything is dualistic in its nature.

While I try my best to respect all religions, I just can't shake the feeling that it's so easy to just blame satan, who to me is a fictional figure - a name given to something that does not have a "being" - . It's easier to blame something/someone else for everything going wrong in your life than to actually look within yourself and see where you went wrong and what you can do to change that. It's easier to say, she got cancer because she didn't live by the bible, it's her punishment.

I strongely believe that every action we take has a reaction, be it "good" or "bad". The reason I feel that everything does happen for a reason is quite simple.

I as a young child was abused well into my adolescent life, I don't blame "satan", nor do I blame a deity, I blame the one who did it, my dad. It was his choice and his action, not mine. But, while this scarred me for life, it has also contributed to who I am today, while I may not like every aspect of myself; I certainly do feel that I have done ok so far.

So my question is... if all pain is caused by satan, why do children of 2 or 3 get abused? Surely this can't win "souls" for satan, since it's supposed to "win" you for it.

  8. Thanks GMU... I like it, though I do agree with the other comments. And no, I didn't go blind :D But I like the render you picked for me :D If you see me that way, there's no chance you'll ever attack me in the AS LOL.Don't be afraid of PS, go wild, go bonkers, and blend, brush, bursh some more, play with overlays and differen blending settings.(something I use often is duplicate the render, increase the size of the lower layer with the render and then set the opacity to really low, which help soften edges and blend it a bit, of course you still have to use basic blending)But keep on going, you are seriously improving fast, so do NOT give in.. Keep working.

  9. I vote for Johnny.I adore the mystery - look in the sig and the effect of the the scanlines being paused to let the text show. It's creative, sad, deep, yet all the opposite as well. It's simple; not overly complex, but ack, it's just good ok?So 0:7 or 0:8...dunno if Blaque's vote counts.Blaque's siggie is good, I like the text effect, but I feel the background is too birght and the render isn't. So the contrast render - background is too big. The sig lacks unity.

How much you can be on each day: enough to know I should be sleeping. It depends from day to day, but usually some 5 hrs at least, some days less though.

How many templates/sigs/resources can you make a week: depends on the largitude of the project. If it is a full image site lay - out it can be a week or more even, if it's elaborate - this is with CSS and php or HTML included of course). Skinning depends on the mods etc. Normally one IPB skin a week. Sigs several a week, since it takes up an hour or less.
