Well what you could do to make it even simpler, so it doesn't take up a lot of space is do something like this (Excuse the the horrible graphics, haven't reinstalled PS yet) The top part is tabs, so you can click through the tabs to see the 5 most recent posts. Don't know if it could be done but would be cool. Also, a cut of on the topic title should be made just in-case you haven't thought of that yet. Well I have been thinking about building a new gaming rig pretty soon and I will be able to spend a bit more than usual because I already have the essentials( Mouse, Keyboard, Printer, Monitor) but I have a questions about Vista.I have a nice HP dv9000 laptop that I have had for a couple months that came with Windows Vista Home Premium. Now what I want to know is there anyway that I can somehow get that onto a new machine I build as long as I take it off the laptop? I mean I bought the laptop and if it comes with Vista, or any OS for that matter, I am purchasing the license to it correct? Don't confuse me with trying to get it illegally on my other computer. So, is there any legal way I can get it transfered over to my new rig without having to purchase a CD or something?

Excellent find my friend. Every once in a while I make a new website for something or another. I usually spend a half hour or so looking for a template I like and edit it to my needs. Sometimes though you have to be careful with what site you pick. Most now-a-days come with a PSD for you to edit with is awesome but if they don't it can be a pain in the rear to edit the pictures manually so that is one thing to look out for. But other than that great site. Might use it sometime soon.

Well my big brother used to use it a while back and I believe it helped him a lot. My grandma was the one who was buying it for him. I mean the way it works with this is the same it works with every type of medicine. It has different effects and different results for EVERYONE, you all know you have seen that "actual results may vary" on the bottom of a commercial because it is the truth. I think the best thing to do is just try a couple cheaper products and shop around and see what works best for you. With medication you can't really take others words on it I believe at least. I know it may cost some money but buy a different bottle of acne cream and see how it helps. I don't know about dermatologists though I went TWICE to see one for my acne he prescribed some stuff and it barely helped and dried out my skin more than anything else.Back to the product, I think it tried it for a bit, it helped but no more than just washing your face with soap and water a couple times a day. I still stick with my argument above.To the topic of women wearing make-up sonsay. I agree completely. I understand if a girl wants to wear a little make-up for a special occasion, just like men wear cologne. But I don't like it when they wear it everyday right when they wake up. I suppose I am more attracted to the natural beauty of women, you know what you see is really what you get. Plus I guess make-up just gives you a false impression sometimes. I prefer women who don't wear make-up, like my girlfriend for example. She NEVER wears make-up and she doesn't have to because I call her pretty everyday. And it's not like she's not self conscience she just thinks she doesn't need it and doesn't like it, which is true. So maybe I have a special lady but if you talk to your girlfriend I am sure she will argue at first but just let her know you think she is beautiful without it.

I think it would be a nice thing, to basically prune all topics and ask members for forums that they think are most helpful and what-not. I do think Trap has a lot of clutter but I also think that they wouldn't want to get rid of all of it. Trap likes to be an information place where people can come to get info on things and it is a way that the site is found most the time, but I believe that it would do more good than bad if we were to clean house. The topic has been brought up before and didn't really do anything but maybe, just maybe one day!

As far as I know I do not have a Qupis account but I may, where can I check to see if I have one? And yes, I just tried my cPanel again and my password is not working so I can not backup my files. I do not need any databases moved, they are trash.Thanks for the reply buff.-EDIT-well I had some free minutes so i posted enough to get +5 so I have my cPanel back now. I have cut down on the size of the files I have down to 46mb when it was at 300mb. So now it is under the regs of a free hosting account. Now I hope I can finally get it transfered by an admin or something.

Just trying to get an update, I know I may seem impatient I just want to make sure I am not being overlooked. Other than the Admins being notified is there anything else I can do to help the process along?

I am in the negative points as we speak here just to state that.I have had a couple times when I have went negative because of certain reasons but I have been way to busy lately to do anything but my personal life. I can't afford to come check here and post as often as I used to. So my question then would be is there any way I can get my account changed to free hosting with the text ad? I would really like to not have to make a whole new account and lose all of the stuff from my hosting now and also my forum account. If it is needed that I post up enough to get positive again then I will do that but I just have way to much going on right now that won't go away soon.If the answer is a no I am not sure what else I can do other than stop activity here other than every couple months to see what's going on. I rely on trap for a lot of opinions on various things from computer advice to life with my girlfriend sometimes.Please, if there is any sympathy that can be dealt out I am waiting.

Well not trying to put down your suggestions because I welcome them. but i didn't have any problems with the picture on my old monitor right before switching. and the monitor would show the noise when using the other HDMI mode if it were the screen wouldn't it?

Ok. Well I don't usually remember my dreams, but this morning I did for some reason and it is fading away fast! lolIt was a WEIRD dream ok?First of all there was a snow bus...yes a snow bus all right!? And there was me,my girl friend, and Joey from the show Friends...don't ask me why he was there!But someone asked if Joey wanted to go on the snow bus and he was like SURE! and then blah blah blah he finally got on and then the bus started skiing down the Aplines! And Joey started freaking out because he thought the snow bus was something else of course. So he forced me and my girlfriend to climb up to the cabin of the bus to ask the guy to stop but we got to the door and it was really high up for some reason! and then we tried climbing back but we fell off!!So then we were there on the mountain and we found a road off and the next thing I can remember is that is was a desert scene now...don't ask me why. Well we followed the road and we finally found a bunch of people and we were looking for a cop and we saw a cop bike and finally the cop and we got excited and ran to him! and said "Hey can you give us a ride to a town or something because we were on our snow bus and we fell off" and the cop did like some evil laugh and said no. and something happened but I started yelling at him and calling them all hicks and then when we were walking back to the car...yeah now we had a car somehow...(lol as I am writing this it is seeming even more weird than it did when i woke up.)..then I saw dust from when a bullet hit the ground, then again, and i realized he was shooting at us! like WTF?! then it started happening a lot more and I looked back and he had a bunch of cop friends! so we ran to the car and jumped in and floored it. while we were getting shot at i remember putting my hand next to my face....like that would somehow block the bullets? idk...and i remember the first cop was big and he looked like the guy who played hellboy in the movie hellboy.so were were driving away really quick and they were chasing us in cars and idk what happened but there were boxes all over us in the front seat and i couldnt see the road and sarah(my gf) was yelling like i was gonna hit something and i went past a firetruck? then the next thing i can remember is we were out the car and there was a big crowd and the big cop appeared in the crowd and saw us and yelled to chase us so i held Sarah low and pushed he off in the crowd so they wouldnt get her and i ran so the cops would follow.its getting hard to remember the end, but i remember that the cops had some cigar or something and I went to kick it out his mouth and then I was in third person and I was him?It was a weird ending and I remember me and Sarah had weird names, hers was cheeks, and mine was something in Spanish I don't remember what.So yeah...I mean that really was my dream. I couldn't make that crap up.Sorry for the bad punctuation and grammar but I just had to be able to type as fast as I could as to not forget the dream.

Well if you mean the PSU for the monitor it is integrated so I can't really do that. I can disconnect the cord from the monitor? Well today is surprisingly my Xisto birthday. Although I could make this post very lengthy I won't. Xisto has been a great service for someone like me who can't necessarily keep up paid hosting month to month. Although at times I do not use my hosting account substantially I always keep those credits up. Whenever I have a computer problem I am sure to go to these forums because they offer the best and fastest response that I can rely on. With soon going into college I may find it hard to keep those posts up but I will sure try my hardest.Thanks for a great year Trap and members. I am looking forward to another.

Well I just purchased a new 22" Widescreen LCD. A Chimei CMV-222H (http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/).Well I got this particular version because after a month of searching it offered the best set-up for using HDMI. This thing is chalk full of features but there is a question I have on it. When I first got it I unboxed it all and hooked it up to my PS3 using HDMI, the picture was AWESOME. Now that I was satisfied that it worked for what I mainly got it for I booted out the old giant CRT hunk of junk and put this bad boy in it's place. Set it up to the native resolution(1680x1050) and hit the "Auto" adjust feature and the picture looked sharp....BUT, yes there has to be a but, I can notice wavy lines one dark backgrounds and very noticeable noise on the windows boot-up screen(Because of all blackness). Not I went through the OSD looking to see if manually changing the clock or phase would do anything, and it didn't. Nor did any other OSD setting so that is out of the picture. Now what comes to mind is that it offers no DVI port and is hooked up through VGA. I know VGA has poor quality but would it cause the wavy lines? When I had it hooked up through HDMI to my PS3 I noticed none so maybe...but is there a solution for this? I have thought of one that I can do that MAY work, I have a DVI-VGA adapter around here somewhere and maybe if I hook that up to my Graphics Card and then attach the monitor it will stop but I will post the results of that as soon as I find that adapter.In the mean time, anyone know of a solution for this?EDIT:(I suppose I should mention that the lines appear diagonally, from bottom left to top right)

As Dre said, integrated graphics are usually not used on systems unless you are only doing straight web browsing and word editing. If you are doing anything like gaming or video editing you would want a separate graphics card.One way to find out what the size(Mb wise) of your on board, if it's not straight borrowing, is to find the type of mother board you have and search it's product number on the web, it should be in the specs of the board if anything.

Thanks SM,Yeah it seems I did get the number wrong, I was still thinking in MB numbers I suppose and shouldn't have been going off my memory, pardon the pun.Yeah, that is one of the reasons I was dumb founded when I found my mother board doesn't support DDRII considering it really isn't that old. Thanks for the info on the prices, it seems I won't be able to get it as cheap as $50 like the DDRII but $70 still isn't that bad. But I might hold off on buying it anyways. A new MB isn't really that expensive and the difference between 400MHz and 800MHz is really big. I am still planning to open up the dust ridden thing tonight anyways to see what really is in there.Thanks again for your help.

Yeah sorry about the lack of information I had to wait to get home before looking through my specs. My motherboard is only maybe one and a half years old, it is a Mach Speed Viper MK8-939A. My slots are regular DIMMS, two sections one a tad bit larger than the other. What I may end up doing tonight is opening the darn thing up and taking a look at the sticks I already have and see what it says on them. I am also going to look around the web for some Memory testing programs, who knows what can be found on the interweb. I think I might still have Belarc installed so I will see what that says. Well for a while now I have been running on some odd number of MBs for my memory, I think it is 1.3GBs. I have for DIMM slots so I think the set up is(512,256,256,256) or something like that I suppose and they are different speeds(MHz) but that isn't what my question is about. I was looking to upgrade my RAM to just two sticks 1GB each. So I found a nice pair I like but I noticed it was DDRII 200pin 880MHz. Now when I looked up the specs on my MB I saw that it supports DDR 128pin 400MHz (Dual Channel). What leads me to my actual question is could the specs on the sites be wrong and my MB actually be able to run DDRII? I find it hard to believe that with all the mismatched sticks in my slots that they are all DDR 128pin. Maybe they are, I don't know. But is there any way that the new sticks I am looking at purchasing could work with my MB? I have noticed that 2GB of regular DDR ram costs almost double what DDRII does.
