Hehe.. I did it in windows too and pm-ed you a snapshot. As MC pointed out - I never needed to figure out your password. I got to the popup of your keys straight out Check your pm for the resultant screenshot - it's on imageshack... and I'd have uploaded the cracked file but now it's in such a state that you can type any login/pass and get to your final popup screen I went one step up and removed all the your login/pass checking parts from the code and fixed the JUMP instructions to point straight to your popup box.. this way it completely bypasses your verification system.. no more pass needed.. the snapshot that you've received was logged in with "blah" & "blah" as username/pass :DComeup with somethign harder next time.. How To Increase Digit Values Automaticaly?
miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG replied to Sadas's topic in Programming
Dude that is not directly possible by any command of the database. There's an autoincrement feature in MySQL. You can declare a field to automatically increase and store the incresed value when a new record is inserted. But that's it.. for what you're asking, you to write some external program, either in php/perl/.net - whatever, that fires up at 9 am using some sort of cron-job/scheduler and resets all those fields in your db by 20% increase.. I don't think it's possible to do it alone with mysql. -
Hehe Sadas - don't worry pal. Even I've gone through the exact same phase, which even went upto the extend of my mom snatching away my keyboard and mouse and locking' 'em up... Why? Coz I was SO into it that I'd eat, sleep, drink, if possible take a bath too - sitting in front the comp. They probably thought I was transforming into some cyber-maniac.. lol.. What happened next was I slipped out of the house and bought myself another set of keyboard and mouse - which I hid pretty well behind my clothes in my cupboard... I used to take extra precaution - always watching out for my parents car and turning things off immediately (both of them are doctors - so they were out of home max. time till around 11pm)But, even this time I got caught.. lol.. guess how?? One fine day my mom returned a little early in the evening. I used to shut things down well ahead of their arrival time.. I hadn't anticipated her coming back so soon - but anyways I managed to press the power hard & quick and turn things off - and hid the kb & mouse.. lol.. in comes my mom into my room to talk to me.. and by chance she happened to stand close to the monitor or, maybe somehow her hand touched the monitor - I forgot, but immediately she knew what was going on..the bloody monitor was HOT as hell... lol.. hahahaa... I can't but laugh my hearts out looking back at it now.. Wheeewww... what days were those

Ignore him What more can you expect from an ignorant fool who don't really have brains enough to contribute something meaningful other than random junk? He's talking about not sharing his content here - but he misses out on the whole spirit of this forum.. To help each other out with computer problems and get help in return. I don't think there's NOT a single person on this board, who hasn't received anything back in return of all the time and posts that he/she's been devoting. This is, apart from the great free hosting services offered by OpaQue. Besides, he doesn't even even have the decency of pointing out some of his so called "Totally Free" sites which offer the range of features that our host offers. And he call's himself a "Truthful Webber" - irony or just flat-out display of having never developed a cerebral cortex advanced enough to be called a full human? The attitude displayed is nothing short of "pedantic" - and a gross disregard for so many thousand members who happily intermingle and help each other out on this board. He's alone the Know-All - bow to him folks He's come amongst us... be terrorized What more do I need to say ? You know, as an afterthough, I think he's one of the people who came in, in the past few days, and applied for hosting without making even a single post. I rebuked a few of them before denying hosting. So he probably came back to rant it out here - but obviously, he won't see that he himself is at fault for being denied hosting. Lol.. what a fool. m^e P.S. I know what to do with this post - moved to "Comments & Feedbacks"

miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG replied to ninjamunky's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Hole cow !! That looks awesome...and sophisticated You can really transform that into something mindblowing.. Keep us posted on how it goes - just watch out for the colors you use.. This will make a terrific template -
Hi guys, This is a rant - meant to take off steam about the horribly bad customer support offered by some of the best software houses. Background =========== I usually refer to the following two review sites for my AntiVirus and Anti-spyware software. These compare all such software on a monthly basis and maintains a ranking based on their features+price+all else. 1. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ 2. http://www.toptenreviews.com/software/security/best-antispyware-software/ 3. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Now AntiVirus and AntiSpyware are two breeds of software that I don't compromise on anyhow - I always go for the fully featured paid versions (the best ones on these lists are actually quite cheap, ranging within $30). So currently my AV is Softwin BitDefender Pro 8.0 and AntiSpyware software is Aluria Spyware Eliminator. I'm extremely happy with the performance of both - and I should mention that BitDefender customer service is excellent. Whenever I've had ANY queries it never took them more than 24 hours to mail me back in details. Aluria, however, is a different story altogether. They delivered my license key as soon as they received payment along with a download link for the full working version. But this had to be activated using their license key - or else, it's spyware removal mode is never activated. Now my system is behind my office proxy - and even though their software has the option of making outbound connections through a proxy, till date I haven't managed to get it to connect and verify my license key. I purchased this product at 3 months back. Since then, I've been mailing them at an average rate of 2-3 times a week, till I gave up recently. I haven't received a SINGLE Response from them. I've worded my problem at first in Simple Descriptive Terms, which later on started migrating more towards usage of Threatenting and Offensive words. But none seems to ever strike through their thick skull. I don't understand what their problem is or why they won't reply to my mails. It's such a simple problem to fix - at their end. I tried it out on all the systems on my LAN. None would register through the proxy, but works fine with a direct connection. If this feature wasn't meant to work, then why did they provide us with a spurious Proxy Setup Screen for Updates Download & Registration ?? I think they are one of the prime examples of Bad Business Practises. Pheww.. what more to say - I'm still sitting back with my PURCHASED SOFTWARE IN THE DEMO SCAN-ONLY MODE. Urggggggh !!! To hell with them & their whole company

Help: Has My Ie Been Hijacked ?
miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG replied to ninjamunky's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Yup surely it was from some service which used that file redirect to hijack your browser. You should definitely write back to them - or even threaten them to stop such activities or else you can file your report to certain organizations who deal with this kind of problems. All the more better for you since you have kept the screenshots. -
Do U Belive In Islam Or Chritian
miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG replied to vstxy's topic in General Discussion
Make sure you at least KNOW the correct spellings of what you're putting up for Poll. There's no religion named CHRITIAN and you are not helping anyone by posting garbage like this. It might just end up provoking people.. Be a little more careful when you're dealing with religion here - show the least respect possible by going to Wikipedia or any of the dictionary and finding out the right spellings. You might not be a native english speaker - but so am I. That's no excuse for making such lousy posts. There are many other non-english speakers like you on this board - take for example darkool. He uses online translation engines on his posts before making posts here. The results are not always decipherable - but at least he attempts whole-heartedly to make his posts as informative as possible - if you don't have that spirit, feel free to go join Xisto.Com - where the posting rules are far more relaxed. It clearly seems this isn't the right board for you. Moreover, the world religions don't just stop at Islam or Christianity - there are many more major religions - when you setup a poll like this, you should consider all of them. Else there's no purpose of such a poll where you limit the feedback only to a handful of religions - and certainly not entertainable on a board which is visited by people from almost every religious paths. -

Hosting Credits And More Just a passing thought
miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG replied to nakulgupta's topic in Web Hosting Support
Yup you're right - in fact, if someone waits till the credit pileup is more than 30, it's a better idea to go for the second package straight. Then you don't miss out on those extra credits you loose by going through the Starter > Upgrade roadmap. I guess a lot of people have got that figured out, coz recently many of them are patiently waiting till they've enough credits for the 2nd package and then applying directly for it. -
Help: Has My Ie Been Hijacked ?
miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG replied to ninjamunky's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Hey ninjamunky, Does it happen with all other pages too - coz usually browser hijacking does it for good - ie. any page you try to access would take you to a different set of page(s) or your homepage would automatically revert back to some unknown site. Anyways, from what you've described your homepage as - it surely has been redirected to whatever site that is. Your first action should be to download one of the softwares like HijackIE and do a thorough scan of your system. Alos try out other Spyware Removers such as Spybot Search & Destroy - an excellent freeware spyware scanner. Run all of them and see if it helps and then lets us know again... Regards, m^e -
Hi -AlPal-, On behalf of the Xisto Team, I extend you a warm welcome. Have a great stay with us here. :(Regards,m^e

Hackers In The Ecosystem Of Sw Engineering
miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG replied to tansqrx's topic in Security issues & Exploits
That's a brilliant example and an even greater line of thoughts, I must say. Hacker's not only fit in the role of the so called Lamprey - there's a different creed of people without whom we'd be forced to accept whatever commercial software - good or bad - that came our way (the situation that might arise out of "Software Patents"). Aside from the dark activities they indulge into - a considerable part of them work on any given software and put them through severe stress tests. In fact most of the time they are the one's who bring out the potential security flaws & threats in software - as well as other non-security related bugs. Imagine a world without such people - where we'd be so gullible that we'd have to digest all the crap that comes our way. In a way, they serve as the Voice of the People against buggy flawed software too - and in many cases forces the publishing company to go back and change considerable parts of their design. While this isn't a good thing from THEIR business point of view - the whole act safeguards the interests of the common mass in a big way. Not all of us are knowledgeable enough to figure out what, where & why a software is malfunctioning or not living upto its mark. Once again, not encouraging the darker side of the whole issue, I think the most appropriate way of describing their CAUSE would be - "Vox populi, vox Dei" -
Hi guys, OUr posts do show up on google - but it takes some time before the crawlers can index them properly. One of the biggest factors for the posts NOT to turn up is because for 90% of the posts, the Topic Titles are badly conjured with absolutely no relevance to the body of the post. The mods and admins have to devote most of their spare time renaming these posts. While making your posts, you've to be very careful about how you're titling it. If you post is a question about PHP or JavaScript or any programming/computer problem - try include some of those KEYWORDS in the title - as well as some other ones in the Description. A post titled, "Need help with php", "MySQL Problem" - wouldn't get you anywhere. The spiders completely diregard pages like that - or even if they index them, they fail to turn up on any search engine - due to lack of proper categorization and non-specific keywords. Perhaps I cannot stress enough on the importance of titling your posts properly - you've got NO IDEA how much re-work it would save us - and how advantageous it will be to YOU. Take for example - when I'd first signed up for the Netbux pay-per-search scheme, I got very frustrated with their servers overloading every 5 minutes and scripts not registering my searches properly. So I came here and made a post titled, Netbux Real or Fake? Problems & Flaws - and posted it on Xisto too. Try it out for yourself and see how it works. Go to google and type 3 keywords -Netbux, Real, & Fake - put all these together and search. What do you see ? My posts are RIGHT ON TOP of the LIST. The spider indexed them perfectly coz the keywords were relevant to the content of the post too.. This is just ONE example. OpaQue can provide you with 100's of other such examples. Also after making your post, you've to give the spirders a grace period of 2-3 weeks at least - I've never noticed pages turning up properly earlier than at least two weeks. Now if you want, you can either go back to your posts and try re-titling them or let us know, so that we can do it..either way Regards, m^e

Hi folks, Once again I'd like to convey my sincere thanks to all those who have signed up under me in either of these services and actively helping me in raising funds for AntiLost. Among recent news, we've shifted our forums from SimpleMachines Forum software to Invision Power Board - the same one that's use to run this board. Also, OpaQue the founder of this board - donated another domain to us to help us in our opensource movement. Thus alongwith AntiLost.Com we're now the proud possesors of AntiLost.ORG as well To all the great coders out there - you're more than welcome to join our community at AntiLost at: 1. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ 2. https://www.hugedomains.com/domain_profile.cfm?d=antilost&e=com Drop by at the community board and submit any bright project ideas that you might have - soon we'll have a big team of developers coming together to work on the pile You're welcome to join in and contribute there too... Bit by bit we've been wroking toward continual development of this site - this is our dream and we're going to make it Of course in the early stages with only a handful of voluntary staff (thanks to them for contributing whatever they can out of their tight schedules) it seems to be moving a bit slowly - but the seed is already sown and well watered Now there's no looking back. Here's a renew list of the people who've joined up under me for the fundraiser... Once again, my heartfelt thanks to them for their active support. =========================== chris_gst_AT_yahoo.com shridhar_AT_fastmail.fm ainekayleigh_AT_gmail.com jipmanvuong_AT_gmail.com meetnakul_AT_hotmail.com netbux_AT_mytrashmail.com viz_skywalker_AT_yahoo.com suzmolthop_AT_aol.com zero.gambit_AT_gmail.com mlgriswold_AT_comcast.net yangzi_AT_excite.com ldavison_AT_orcon.net.nz adonis_AT_linuxmail.org vibinvijayakumaran_AT_gmail.com stimmy_AT_hotpop.com zeno_AT_operamail.com =========================== I've updated the collected amount in my topic starter post - as I've been doing regularly over the past few days. Lol.. thanks man that gave me a good laugh.. lol.. some wisp of humour in a dry world otherwise filled with just staring at the computer screen straight from 9-9

*me kicks jipman hard on his b***. Stop going after the poor guys life.. it's quite clear that he's not a native english speaker and I've pointed it out quite a few days earlier that he was infact using a translation engine.. so give him some lax.. at least he's religiously attempting to keep us up to date about the latest security threats.. doesn't seem daunted by his lack of english speaking skills.. You have to give him credit for that...!!!

Cool another soccer bum Welcome to Xisto man .. and have a great time & loads of fun

Try searching for PHP-Nuke mods - there surely are plenty of them which does this job.. Other than than most details about users are available in the form of variables like {username}, {gender} etc - that's how it works out in Mambo CMS too.. you can insert these directly into text and the values will dynamically change depending upon the current user...Regards,m^e
-
I wonder too - why they follow a very close up-down cycle and sites as soooooo similar.. but in the end as I said, as long as they pay up, it's all fine by me I sound like such a sucker for money lol Anyways, I've updated the collected amount in the starter post.. I've had one more person join up under me - hoping for more people to join in the movement Regards, m^e

All About The Fav Icon
miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG replied to iGuest's topic in Websites and Web Designing
See there's a difference. Now all web-servers are pre-programmed to look for a file caled favicon.ico in the root "/" directory of the web-server. If it finds that file - it's immediately displayed in your browser address bar and tabs. If not, next it looks into your index.html/.php file for a link like <LINK REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="/your_directory/logo.ico" tupe="filetype - icon or jpg or gif"> This makes the page load that file as your favourite icon. But doesn't the method of including a file named favicon.ico sound more elegant and painless ?
