a few of my friends have Livejournals and refuse to stay away from IE, i fixed this problem by installing that google toolbar.. it blocks popups, and makes LJ work right for the most part.

Usually.. a lot of stuff. web browsing(of course) FTP and direct connect, for the same purpose as.... Filesharing, including limewire/gnutella and most of the major netoworks besides kazaa. including bittorrent Gaming, including a few MMORPG's Streaming music/video. kinda of a new thing to me, but im enjoying internet radio a lot instant messaging, everyone i know likes to message me at weird hours and then whine that im not there.. and sign off before i get back(happens once a week per person on average) IRC, because its still simply awesome. Random software updates and folding@home units, self explanitory. That about covers it i think

Thats just sad, i hate people who are total idiots but act like they know everything. no one knows everything. they just dont get that.But i did find the msn messenger part pretty funny, i know people who have done that 10-12 times trying to get through to someone...

lets see... adblock - blocks banner/flash/"rich media" ads. and images i dont want to see IEview - open pages in internet explorer allow right click - breaks those little java scripts people put in sites to stop you from "stealing there images". saves me the time of having to do a view-source alt-text for links - when you mouseover a link, it shows you what url it points to. will quickly check tinyurl's/urlsnip's and tell you where they lead. text-link - if someone typed a url, like http://www.something.com/ it would make that a link bugmenot - lets you login to sites like the new york time that are free, but want you to register, by searching a massive database of donated logins. teleflip - lets you pop up a little window and send text messages to cellphones... for free tinyURL creator - lets you right click in any page, or right click any link.. and make a tinurl from it, will also copy that to the clipboard for pasting on its own. translate - simple name, does just what it says. translates from anything babelfish can do to english by auto pasting to babelfish then loading. nifty fireFTP - supposed ftp client that will pop up in a tab, never got this working. seems to be feature lacking. chatzilla - quick little IRC client plugin, pops up a little AIM type window and your on IRC, great if you need to hop on just one or 2 channels quick and dont want to open a full sized client, or even trillian. but it has no real plugins or features. thats about it... i had a few more but 1.0 broke them.

Could this infect you through the MSN messenger function of trillian? or is this just the browser program?Because .pif is an image format(IIRC) and ive gotten a lot of links to that or similar files, and i was worried if it worked through trilian since one of my computer non-literate parents might click it

What about an IRC channel on dalnet(or somesuch) or even a Xisto irc server? it would be much less laggy than one of those cgi/php/java chat systems(like the invision add-on) but i guess that would be harder to manage....but still, IRC>most other group chat systems.

I've noticed that i post more here than almost anywhere else, even though i don't post here a lot.Kinda sad if you think about it, since 60% of the people who post here do it just to get credits, and most of the topics and posts are pretty low content...

Im so happy i never used lokitorrent, i never really trusted that site anyway.The bad news here really is, any torrent sites that wanted to "fight the law" so to speak with donation money are kinda screwed now.. because everyone will be going "Are they just going to keep the money/give it to the MPAA and give up?"Kinda sad for all the non-jerk site operators out there

i liked the "is this me" one, but not the "a cutters mind" one as much, it's just a little to emo-ish for me. But the is this me one reminds me of dylan thomas, and it all rymes perfectly. i wouldnt say it was crappy at all...

Lets see...I know its overused and kinda lame, but i would like to be a game designer. i was just surfing through various mod sites, and looking at how things were done. tried some basic things... and it seems really interesting, and somewhat easier than i thought(o_0) so basically, im going to end up going to one of those game design graduate programs after i go through college...

I would say ff9, FFX was somewhat of a disapointment to me... and the style of 9(chracter design, even the monsters and story) just seemed more entertaining.I can't quite place my finger on what i didn't like about x... but i just didnt.

Firefox, if only for security.Before i got firefox, i would get craploads of spyware every day, i had to run ad-aware and spybot every day and it would find 20+ things. after i finally relented and installed firefox, i get 1-2 a month or less. and there always just cookies. i know this will probably change over time and firefox becomes more popular and people start exploiting it and stuff.. but stilllfor now, firefox seems to be the best(and it doesn't cost money like opera)

I never tried using Open Office, but I heard it's pretty cool. I only ever used Microsoft Office, which suits me well enough.

Mah, but someone actually overclocked his PC to 6 Ghz, used some sort of chemical to cool it...... lol, it was so funny, but it worked!!

There is an emulatr for the Xbox? Never knew about that. Anyway, for the PS2, you currently need 1 GHz to play a game at 1f/s, so it's utterly unplayable. Emulators are unlawful by Sony, so you should invest into getting a PS2 or Xbox.

DS!!! Nintendo DS rocks hard, had it for 3 weeks and cant stop playing it. I got Super Mario 64 DS, Madden NFL 2005, Feel the Magic: XY/XX and Asphalt: Urban GT. They're all cool, I'm hoping to get some more soon. And remeber, get a DS soon and visit http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ for every DS piece of news on the net!!

Lemony Snickets: A Series of Unfortunate events is probalby a cool movie, my brother (at Harvard) watched it, and he says it's really cool and funny..... I'm hoping to watch it sometime soon this week probably, I'm planning to watch The Incredibles (from Disney) this weekend, probably next weekend I will watch something else.....

WOW!! This seems very cool..... Strategy gaming has lacked a good game in the last year and two, with probably only Rome: Total War (from Creative Assembly) being great. Everyone's been waiting for an announcement from Ensemle Studios..... Its graphics seem to be very good, and seems to be pretty demanding, I guess Alienware will have a bit of raise in their sales.... I hope the game will still have similar gameplay to the great mix of the first two games. I think Microsoft will always have something for us PC Players, even if they have their Xbox to worry about. Fingers crossed for great online play

Gmail is so cool........ I've had it for a few months, and I just can't get enough of it. 1000 MB of storage, GMail notifier, other very cool things. And that Sig Maker, it's cool too. I have always played this game and will never tire of it. I finished it, but I always can't beat a go at some VS match or the Event Matches. I love playing as Roy, I rock while playing with him..... I beat everyone with him. What's your favourite character? Even thogh Jigglypuff is week, his Down+B action move rocks..... It makes everyone fly off the screen..... You can't beat Event Match 51 without this, and that sucks. I like every bit of this game, and will always will.

Pretty interesting, this. I don't know any PHP, but the URL seems to have gone back to normal...... I don't know why it was .html files before, maybe like you said, but maybe it's easier to edit and keep track of the filenames and topics.....I guess we'll have to ask OpaQue for the answer. Is it any different? If it is, I'll be thinking about converting mine to that format....
