Hi punkgamr13,All the previous posts have good advice. Do those things first.Just a technical note: some HDs (not all) don't "play nice" when you use the Windows utilitys to format them. I always recommend that you format & setup your new HDs using the manufacturesr setup utility disc when its available.Post back if you need more help.Good luckRGPHNX

Hi canpolitics,You've probably already solved the problem..but just in case you haven't...Not sure what the origin of your gz file is. Did you download it directly from the Xisto server?? If the server didn't download it directly & you created it yourself using a third party program..then the will probably be a problem restoring the zipped files. Regardless..just unzip the files to a new directory on your hard drive..then FTP the files to the directory at trap 17..that always works. If your directory at the Xisto server got messed with/ or is gone.. just recreate it using cpanel before you FTP your backup file onto the server again.Hope this is clearRGPHNX

Hi ,The only way to do what your suggesting is to create an entirely new programming language and keep the source code a total secret. That would be a impossible amount of work and eventually someone could/would "crack" it anyway.The current "tools" for disassembling/assembling program languages(& programs) are freely available on the net (or are purchasable)...so theres no way to keep any current programs written in the current program languages a total secret. Given enough time, resources, money..etc anybody can "crack" almost any program..including the "encrypted" ones. Without that "secret" ability theres no way to stop peOple from making viruses AND OTHER DESTRUCTIVE PROGRAMS.Hope this is clearRGPHNX

Hi kservice,If it's not the banwidth limit (as adrescasta suggested)..then suspect the 2.0 drivers as the problem. Check the manufacture's specs for a clue to potential problems or google the HD for user problems posted on the net. That should give you more info. It's probably not a PSU problem as the drive powers up & windows recognizes it... it just can't "talk" to it..which indicates an interface program problem (ie. drivers) or other program incompatibility.Hope this is clear. It's good..but you need to apply for your hosting AS SOON AS you get 30 credits..because (apparently according to some other forum posts) the credits automatically reset to 0 (zero) when your hosting is activated..so if you have 100 credits you also lose the other 70 credits (apparently)The hosting is excellent.. they REALLY DO have 99.99% uptime- YEAH !!Enjoy your stay & make new friends RGPHNX
