  1. tphilakone, all of your posts I've seen are 1-3 words. That's usually called spam. And BuffaloHELP says my "posts were lack of contents and brief".
  2. Thanks. I don't know why, but I changed the border a bit. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/404.png Please tell me if the original is better or worse.
  3. http://www.joymax.com/silkroad/
  4. Under the Chronos it looked like their was some text. I had assumed maybe there was visible text but the image was shrinked down. But now when I look at it on a better monitor(not a laptop), it just looks like nothing.
  5. Once I get my hosting here I'll be sure to try this out. Thanks for the code.
  6. Well, I search for "Airsoft FAMAS" because recently I've been interested in getting an airsoft gun, and I love the FAMAS. Anyways, I was given links to many sites with images of Airsoft Famas guns. All the links had the image of the product, the price, and a description of it. Much more useful than Ebay's search.
  7. Scroogle's interface is kind of disgusting. Google has a nice simple interface which makes it pleasurable to use, even though it has ads. Google is faster(took me almost 30 seconds to connect to scroogle, google connects instantly). Google also provides Advanced search, certain codes that allow you to limit your search(-), image search, and can be modified with greasemonkey to make it look nicer.
  8. I vote for Saint_Michael's. The mosaic sorta look was great and really brought out the different colors of fall. And even though the text isn't that great it is still better then all the other sig's text.
  9. This was made Sep 25, 2005. Half of this was done in GIMP in ubuntu and the other half was done in adobe photoshop CS in windows. Render was made in Cinema 4D. C/C would be appreciated.
  10. Affiliating with other site's with similar content works well. Or just have really good content and a nice design on your site. That is why people go to websites.
  11. I've used Nvu and it wasn't made to replace Dreamweaver at all. It is very similar but still not nearly as good. Nvu was made using the Gecko engine(used by Mozilla) to be used as an opensource code editing app, and was sponsored by Linspire Linux. Nvu is available in the Linspire CNR thing. Anyways, most things I do in Dreamweaver can never be done in Nvu. Don't get me wrong, Nvu does have alot of features that are really nice but it still does lack the ability to do things. This is a great alternative for linux though. When Im using Ubuntu and I need to edit something I'll just use Nvu because Dreamweaver does not work with ubuntu(I've tried wine and it still doesn't work). Nvu good just not good enough to replace Dreamweaver. Cept it's free. That's good.
  12. Alot of this is from my new layout and then made into a sig. Yay for semi-original.
  13. DeviantART was originally a skin/resource website but then became more of an organised art community. I use it, I submit my works every now and then, and I never get any comments like "huggles". The only time I see those such comments is on more "famous" people on deviantart. It is also a very popular website, and that's because people like it. You can learn from people's critism, from tutorials, and from looking at other people's works. There is also alot of skins and themes, ranging from winamp skins to visual styles. There is also alot of wallpapers. This site should atleast get a rating of 7/10, but I would give it a 9/10.
  14. Everything looks nice in this sig. The colors look great and it's all very well put together. I like the way it's centered around the render by giving the render a sort of spotlight. One problem there is with the sig would be that the text is a little hard to see. There is some black behind the text, making it a little harder to see. The text would propably look best in the white space in the bottom right corner, and propably better without the shadow. The other problem in this is that I can't tell what exactly the render is. After looking at it for awhile I think that it is a guy, with a gun, on the ground with something on his head and he's trying to get it off with his other hand(without the gun).
  15. If the RIAA ever tries to sue you, you get insurance. For $19/year a company will pay the fines from the RIAA. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  16. Did you code that yourself, or use http://support.zathyus.com/index/? Or did you get it from a site?
  17. And how does that make them a spy? People are putting in their zip codes and when they do so, they should know that google could record that data. Google Earth works when you're not connected to the internet. Most of the images won't load(the ones in your cache will). Maybe when you are connected to the internet it sends zip codes but it most likely does not.
  18. And those two guys were the leaders of it until they hired some other other guy to also lead with them. Those are the two first guys. There was an itnerview with them in some magazine, TIME, I think...
  19. I didn't use a render. This was just a photomanipped screenshot from the game F.E.A.R. But, thanks for the advice.
  20. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/404.png Well, once I get my hosting from Xisto, I'll code this layout with Dreamweaver 8 and then get it all setup. Any comments/critique would be helpful because I don't know if I need to change anything.
  21. thanks for the advice, and yeah, because I haven't made any sigs in so long I had wanted comments/critique.
  22. Well, not first sig. I used to have a graphics forum a little less then a year ago, and haven't made a sig since then. This sig is basically just a photomanip from the game F.E.A.R. I did some effects, added a border, added text, and removed the text off the mech thing which was some red text.
