  1. That's actually kind of odd. I'm using a 17" screen with 1024x768 Screen Resolution. I also have a "Lazy Eye." At least that's what they like to call it, I'm practically blind in one eye.. It doesn't seem all that tiny to me. Than again, it's also a matter of personal preference. But, I'll see what I can do to make it a little larger so that others don't have a problem viewing it either. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
  2. Oh dear! My mother told me the story of how her and my father met. Let me tell you, TMFI... I really didn't need to know the details, but my mother decided to tell me anyhow. "She has warped my fragile little mind!" I suggest not asking your parents questions like that unless you are absolutely sure you really want the answer... Later.
  3. I think, perhaps, that you went to my site while I was fiddling with a program on it. Because there are no bars on my site that say "test" so, it was probably while I was adding the news system to my main page. It shouldn't have anything else messed up on the page. Sorry about that...
  4. Thanks for all the comments. I appreciate a good comment a lot. As for what I used to script the page, yes. I use WebCoder 5, it's free and has all the features I could need to script a site. I especially like the spell checker feature...lol I did design the title graphic myself. I've always been strangely obsessed with snowflakes, probably because my B-day is in January, so I decided to go with it and use snow flakes, which are surprisingly easy to make with PSCS. I'm still working out the kinks in the nav bar though... I'm not sure what I really want to do with that bit of code yet. So, my sites template is still undergoing minute changes. Thanks again for the comments, ~PB
  5. I do not believe in any of the christian or pagan babble. It seems like complete nonesense to me. But I do tend to be quite content most of the time, so I don't see prayer being anything special, unless you believe it is. I put more faith into asking my cat Booh for help than I would any superior being. Besides, I can see, hear and feel my cat. Unlike the all-powerful, I can actually count on my cat for attention, affection and love. There's no garantee that I would get that from god, only others' word that he is real and that he forgives us anything. Well, that's just not my cup of tea... I can have a conversation with myself that would be more stimulating and productive than trying to talk to someone or something that is greater than I am. I'm not trying to down on all the religious people, I just don't see it as you do and I don't wish to. I just want to know why all the religious people in the world feel they have to try to convert those of us who don't believe what they do... Does it really get you anywhere?
  6. That image looks fabulous for an intro page. The only problem you might run across is the text. It's a little difficult to read being as thin as it is. But other than that that is perfect.
  7. Well, this template doesn't have to have the "trapazoid" thing in the middle of the tabs. I just thought it made it look let cluttered than having all tabs in that area. Just having tabs right there could be a bit tedious. Don't you think? But thanks for the comments.. Later
  8. Alright all, I've gotten my hosting and have the front page up (under development) and I want to know what you all think of my site in as it is online. I want to know the good, bad and ugly of your opinions so don't hold back on my account. Thanks all, the address is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Thanks, PB
  9. I enjoyed the hatemail the most. Some people seem to really be stupid enough to write to a webmaster and complain about what he puts on his site. I loved some of his comments back to these people. It's histerical how he turns the inproper grammer and stuff back on them. I'll have to watch this site more. ::bookmarks link:: Later
  10. Awesome idea. This will really help a lot of people advertise their sites and it's also a fun way to show your personality by building a shop that represents either your site or yourself...lol. Hope that a lot of people decide to add their shop to your street. It will be interesting to see what you do with it.
  11. Thank you. That's why I created it that way. The admin can use the X with the globe or he can just use the words... As I mentioned, the X can be used many different and creative ways if you look at it for a while, It comes to you. Hopefully the admin likes it. If not, I can use the design for something else that has an X with it... Later
  12. I have a few good ideas for different characters for stories, but I've never really been good with adding words with them. So, I mainly keep them to myself. But I suppose I could pull out some of my old Character Brainstorm sheets from somewhere in my closet...lol. If I'm lucky, maybe someone would be able to use one of them in a story or something. At least then the character I created could do something instead of collect dust in my closet... I'll have to look for those sometime today... Later.
  13. I figured I'd add the world into the graphic mainly because Xisto has that globish thing for it's logo and it's for a name that will be combining a few online companies. I figured a globe would help represent that. As for the "X," you can do a lot with an X in a name. I just thought this would make a simple and nice logo for this Xisto thing the admin is doing. Later
  14. This is my contribution to Xisto, since I heard that the Admin wants to combine all of his sites under one organization called "Xisto" I figured I'd help out with the graphic logo and all of that. The above image is the creation I made just for this.. Let me know what you think, Admin. Later.
  15. I like the graphics you use. But I was wondering, is the content supposted to be under the graphic like that or was it ment to be over the image? That kind of confused me a bit, but other than that your site is good. Although the whole "Retard-Dork" thing is being a little harsh on yourself. Don't ya think?
  16. For just beginning in HTML, you seem to have a good handle on it. Your site looks very nice. Simple is always a good way to go if you are just learning to use HTML and/or other scripting methods. As for content, I noticed that you say you will be updating daily. I'm interested to see how far your site will progress in the next few months. Hope it stays around. P.S. You might think about adding a mailto form on your site and have some of your visitors suggest different sites that could be added to your directory. It would make it a bit easier for you and will allow your visitors to interact with you. - Just a thought
