  2. I would like to know which you think is the best video editing program.First of all I have worked with standard Windows Movie Maker, but soon I wanted to do things more complicated. So, now, I'm working with Pinnacle Studio 10. It has good features and relatively easy to handle, but it sometimes simply closes down. Furthermore, the Studio 10.0 s horrible and one has to download a bunch of patches. So does anybody have a good program with good features and easy to handle?
  3. The number one source is your local library. Seriously, they probably have a great collection you're ignoring right now. But here's some great resources on the net: http://librivox.org/ LibriVox volunteers record chapters of books in the public domain, and then we release the audio files back onto the net (podcast and catalog). Our objective is to make all books in the public domain available, for free, in audio format on the internet. We are a totally volunteer, open source, free content, public domain project. http://http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Gutenberg:The_Audio_Books_Project A division of the famous Gutenberg ebook project is dedicated to audiobooks, mostly the same way that LibriVox is set up. There are also some computer-generated recordings, but I wouldn't recommend them. http:// http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Free audiobooks, as well as many many audiobooks with a 5-year limit on the copyright before they enter the public domain. Around 2008 or 2009, a bunch of works should be entering public domain pretty regularly from then on. The second link is to a podcast with regular free readings. http://kayray.org/audiobooks/ Podcast that goes through classics in children's literature for which copyright has expired. You know, for kids. If u want i cuold find more sites with free audiobooks

  11. 'm using an AMD cpu. I used to use Intels exclusively, but a friend persuaded me to switch over. Intels while being more expensive really didn't offer me much more that the amd cpu could not fulfill.I suppose the biggest temptation to switch back then was the price, but now I'm noticing a bit superior performance in some of my multimedia applicaitons and games.
  12. I have used many cell phones over the years, as I formerly worked for a cell phone company and we usually tested stuff as we got it in before we recommended it to customers. I have always been happiest with Nokia. Of course, they have occasionally put out some not so great phones, but all in all Nokia phones are reliable and affordable. Another phone I liked, for the reception not the features, was Kyocera.
  13. Hey,Well, fortunatly for me I have never had any type of illegal drug in my body, and also I don't drink (I'm 24 - you may say well I would hope not but I know that almost all of my friends enjoy a drink, although they don't drink to stupid amounts) and my parents quit smoking, infact - it's my father that stopped smoking exaclty a year ago today ( HEY - GD FOR HIM! ). So I'm in the best shape of my life right now with alot of training that I am doing in the Martial Arts.I'm just wondering, what is it that made you feel that you needed to start drugs, and also - well done for talking about it, to my knowledge being able to talk about what you have done like that is a very commendable thing. Thanks for your time, Achieve.
  14. Mission Impossible:My cellphones oldskool so it cant handle any MP# formatted ringtones. Alll the good songs are on the key board and sound like junk so this is a good one because there is a bass Try It!
  15. I currently have an old monotone Nokia 2100, which was released when the newer camera phones came out for people who prefered the old phones. I've had it for a year and a half now and am about to change my phone to a Nokia 6610i (https://support.microsoft.com/de-de/products/mobile-devices)Would you guys happen to have any opinions or feedback to give me about it? I've always wanted a colour phone and I don't have a hang up about getting the latest phones (the Distinctly Bold line is too bulky for me). I really like the look of the Nokia 6610i because it's blue, my favourite colour, and it's slim and easy to hold, while not being too small, and it has an FM radio in it! biggrin.gif But yeah, if you have any feedback about the battery life etc, do tell!Oh btw, my company got the Nokia 8800 to review and we tested it...It's a pretty classy phone... has a very "rich" sound to it. The display panel's made of luxury watch glass and the ringtones are by an oscar-winning Japanese composer, so it looks quite cool, but apparently the battery-life isn't all that... it only lasts one day. Also my colleague said that the screen seemed rather faint...
  16. really know what i'm talking about here, trust me. I know you didn't directly ask 'which was best' , but 'which do you use' but i'll give my opinion on the best, which IS what i use, so, Kaspersky AV is amazing i catches all viruses, has been totally re-coded and is now not the complete memory hog it once was, has a mass of options to configure scanning, updating etc... so all in all its the top of the AV choices, i used to test all the AV out as i used to get a ton of viruses for some reason, and found this to work very well.
  17. so many books are amazing that it's an obsession of mine as a writer, and for anyone who even rarely reads (you would think I spend all my time reading loving it so much and yet how sometimes I don't even get to it except for school) but loves reading... books can definately change your life. look at me- looking at schools for creative writing majors when I would of never even of thought myself good at writing save essays and the like freshman year...but books? Well, over the summer I read House of Leaves, as did actually a bunch of incredibly talented book-literate theatre kids I know... It can be one amazingly confusing book at times, but never in a frustrating way- only confusing in the ideas swirling in your head... no one has any idea what I'm talking about, just because when you try and summarize the magnitude of House of Leaves it's almost.... you really are lost in where even to start to even give a halfway accurate picture of the book. It is one amazing book- I could name other books that I keep by my side as picturesque momentos of thoughts of members of the real world as abstract as it is, but it could take me forever- even a partial list... spans hundreds of authors. but I do have my favorites, like anyone.you see, it's not so much House of Leaves changes your train of thinking- or possibly it does- theatre kids like myself live in a world sometimes so amazingly... upfront? (not even the world for it, though, unfortunately to truly generalize it) to simply keep from being pretensious that possibly we can't be completely changed by something when you are always changing but... it's like seeing the span of your life spread out so evenly and chaoticly, extremely researched and footnoted and yet in reality, utterly made up, and yet how in reality it is a novel by a guy with no relation to you, and the story has absolutely no relation to you, and yet... House of Leaves swallows you up, and eats you alive... now that, that is what gives me inspiration and a will to live in life... and the want to be a writer and to be around other writers, theatre kids and like minded... anyone...
  18. Really i like the food of Italian.but i choose the food of chinese ..because i like the food of chinese very much too..so if you want to let me chose one of them .i think that it is difficutly very much..sometimes i think .we need not must to one which is the favorie or best from lost things .
  19. dont hate school, but i dislike its educational and social systems. I can't learn in this type of enviroment where you are not given the freedom to learn independantly. College is my destination, i hear that its very much relaxed and you can be independant. The worst thing about school has to be its compulsory, there are thouse days you just really need time to yourself. And its the other people too, most of you dont want to be there, but you'll either put your head down and get on with it, or be the fool trying to crack a laugh all the time.
