^ You know, if you need to quote, you have to use the quote code...that's called cheating in this forum. And it's especially cheap when I already know that it does that....

Are you serious? I don't want to reinstall windows...I just want to uninstall this stupid program. Argh. This is the file I think: [boot loader]timeout=30default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS[operating systems]multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect Thanks so much!

I was looking around a site and it had a really funny Boot screen. I didn't know how to install it, but the person who posted the screen said something about using BootXP. So I went and installed it, but I didn't know how to use it and then I wanted to delete the program. When I went to uninstall it, it told me: "ERROR: Deleting This Boot Line Will Leave Your BOOT.INI Without Options. Use This Button To Delete Backup Lines or Be Sure To Have At Least One Working Boot.INI Line Before Delete Lines." I don't know what this means, so then I went to google and I found this: http://fileforum.betanews.com/review/1010583529/1/view and the reviewers were talking about windows crashing?! This is a pretty new computer and I'd be really pissed if it deleted all my stuff... Could anyone explain or help or whatever? Any help is reaally super appreciated.
  8. Hmm...I never touched it, but our family's first computer was some MS-DOS one that was apparently really big. My dad got it the year after I was born. After that...we got some IBM that my dad later sold for around 500 dollars. Then we had a windows 3.1 which I thought was so cool cause I could play ski free and mahjong or something and Chips challange...then we got a windows 95 hewlett packard and we had that canon creative thing...then a windows 98 with like, 64 mb of ram and 12 gigs of space. I had that computer up until january of this year. I wonder what computers are going to be like in the future...
  9. Wow, thanks soo much. I really appreciate your help. It's not everyday you meet someone as nice as you. Thanks a lot!
  10. Yeah...the SAT shouldn't be terribly hard. With the new 2400 SAT, they changed the math portion to have algebra two and trig, instead of the previous algebra I and geometry. Like, now, it has algebra 1, 2, geometry, and trig. But it's not that bad. I personally thought the math was extremely easy....And you're right, having a 4.0 GPA doesn't really mean anything unless all you take are AP classes or Honors, especially since curriculum and difficulty varies from state to state and then from school to school.I remember when I first took the PSAT, I did absolutely horrible. The problem was that I was a stuck up little kid and thought that I was unbelievably smart and that the Standardized tests were stupid...well, because of that conceitedness, I ended up getting like...about the same as you, around 70% right on the PSAT and my reading was the worst. Like, for the reading, you really have to read the passages and really understand them in order to get the maximum amount right. I retook the PSAT a year later and I got up to 90%. If that even means anything.I think that as long as you can manage a 1700+, you can get into most of your first choice colleges. If you've got a lot of extracurricular activities and maintain your 4.0 (or even get higher), and take lots of honors/ap courses, you shouldn't worry. The one thing you should worry about, is money heh.Because remember, colleges don't judge a prospective student based on their SAT's...my friend has a 3.9 GPA and TONS of extra curricular activities and also lots of honors/AP courses, but she got a 990 on the SAT...and she got into one of the best colleges in my state, where the average SAT score was around 1300-1400. I think the key is to not stress out, and you'll be fine.
  11. I do not! You guys are horrible! =( =( Just kidding =) I personally don't like drinking milk. If I really want to, I get soy just because. Like someone else said, milk is made by cows and therefore 'programmed' to be there FOR cows. Their meat is for our consumption. But I guess consuming it really doesn't do any harm either. And for those who say that our bodies don't absorb the calcium, orange juice is also guilty of that. A lot of people drink orange juice, but the calcium isn't retainable. At least not most of it. Nvm. Milk is gross. And it can make your tongue white.
  12. I agree, it was a really well done movie. The actors they chose did really well and I thought reese has a really nice voice...it was really crisp. I don't know if I like the actual johnny cash, but I thought the movie was extremely well done. The guy was kind of a creep though...
