Hiya Macfly, Thesers a thread on a forum here which gives the impression its not really possible to get google to visit more often. But if you insist. Meta tags might help pragma Http-equiv and the cache control http-equiv meta tags may help. Im not sure if search engine robots act on them properly though, it seems these tags are more for brosers. Ideally you should set some http-headers, to changing the web server's configuration(ask Xisto nicely, but its still not likely) or by using PHP or Perl to send special http headers. Theeres some info onuseful header info to set the cache control headers here. In php do something like this, setting all the headers described in the previous link, <?php header("Pragma: no-cache"); header("Cache-Control: no-cache"); header("Expires: Wed, 26 Feb 1997 08:21:57 GMT"); //must be in this format ?> <html><head><meta ... put the rest of web site here, the headers MUST be sent first. here some info on setting headers in php. Either perl or php is good enough for a web game.Whichever language you're most comfortable with is the best language to use.Good luck.

Are you using X windows.If you are then Nedit is a small + fast editor.It has some good syntax highlighting for C, matches up bracket/braces and uses sensible keyboard shortcuts.If you're at a console then it's gonna be emacs, vim or pico.

There was some tv show where they set up a fake seance with actors. (Not the Derren Brown show someone's mentioned). The people who believed seances really could contact spirits reported after the fake seance how they had felt a sudden change of temperature when the spirit made contact, how they had heard knocking noises + some reported 'seeing something move'. The peple who didnt believe + those who were undecided didnt feel hear or see these things. Your beliefs shape your perceptions + experience to a incredible extent. Thats why people people talk about em so much, they believe. Doesnt mean theyre real. Doesnt mean theyre not. not sure about ghosts, unicorns however...

Another easy way to get a server running on your pc (without downloads) is buy a good linux distribution.I used Suse 9.0, and to install apache, php + mysql all you need to do is select the package's in the setup tool.The recent upgrade to php 5 was smooth, the only input frum me was to change Addhandler and Addtype settings in the apache configuration file.
