  1. well look at the pic and read the article.the tree's in which the car is facing or coming from (can't really tell) are taller than 13 feet (4 meters) and 80 knots is 92.2 MPH so according to the article the car either go 0-92.2 mph in about 5 feet or crashed about a second after the pic was taken.

  2. didn't awnser anything. I've heard hundreds of news stories from cnn foxnews NPR radio about people killing and raping people and being sent to prison or let off on some technicality. I've heard pleanty of testimonials on the local christian station of people finding god and bettering thier lives. I personally believe its hope they've found. not god. but when people are desparate for something more religion has always been there.I have a fealing we're about to get off subject.

  3. well if you can lie to people to make them do good things I guess thats good.but can you give a few examples of convicted rapist's that "found god" and moved on to a better crime free life.I havent realy done much research but common sense says if you lie to the parole board and say you've found god they will be more forgiving and shorten your sentence.just wondering how many rapist found god and contibuted something useful to society?and who tells these "mad" stories, thier lawyers? and what kinda crowd do you hang out w/ that knows that many rapist and killers?

  4. I dont use the cpanel on anysite but will assume that it has a publi_html or WWW folder, this is your main folder .there is probably also a cgibin and maybe a few others . dont delete any of your folders unless you know what they do.put atleast your index.htm in the Public_html folder. this will be your main page so when you type your address that file will show. ex. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ will be your index file.most of your main site files will go into the Public_html folder. any other folders will be subdirectories not goin to go into alot of detail but 1 example.if you have a downloads folder inside your Public_htm folder and you have a file for downloading called poker.exe inside your downloadsthe link in your index file should be /downloads/poker.exeyour folders will be Public_htm-downloads

  5. "religion has actually convinced people that there is an invisible man living in the sky, and he has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these things he will send you to a place full of fire, and smoke, and burn and torture forever and ever 'till the end of time.... but he loves you. And he needs money." george carlin

"Through the Looking Glass". That poem, "The Walrus and the Carpenter" that's an indictment of organized religion. The walrus, with his girth and his good nature, he obviously represents either Buddha, or... or with his tusk, the Hindu elephant god, Lord Ganesha. That takes care of your Eastern religions. Now the carpenter, which is an obvious reference to Jesus Christ, who was raised a carpenter's son, he represents the Western religions. Now in the poem, what do they do... what do they do? They... They dupe all these oysters into following them and then proceed to shuck and devour the helpless creatures en masse. I don't know what that says to you, but to me it says that following these faiths based on mythological figures ensure the destruction of one's inner-being. Organized religion destroys who we are by inhibiting our actions... by inhibiting our decisions, out of... out of fear of some... some intangible parent figure who... who shakes a finger at us from thousands of years ago and says... and says, "Do it - Do it and I'll *BLEEP*in' spank you. " from Dogma the movie

it was only a few hundred years ago that the romans thought of zues and other gods to be gods and now they are fairy tale jokes that no one worships.. millions of people worshiped these gods and now they're taught as a history lesson only. the simularitys are endless in all religions. believe in a "god" and do exactly as he says and you will go to a magical place otherwise you will go to another magical place thats really bad.

religion is good as a small form of orginisation, but we don't need a magical creature that no one has ever seen to tell us killing innocent people is wrong.

this really seems to fit from boondock saints rent it, download it whatever just watch it.

Connor: We do not want your tired and sick.
Murphy: It is your corrupt we claim.
Connor: It is your evil that will be sought by us.
Murphy: With every breath, we shall hunt them down.
Connor: Each day we will spill their blood, 'til it rains down from the skies.
Murphy: Do not kill. Do not rape. Do not steal. These are principles which every man of every faith can embrace.
Connor: These are not polite suggestions, these are codes of behavior, and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost.
Murphy: There are varying degrees of evil. We urge you lesser forms of filth, not to push the bounds and cross over, in to true corruption, into our domain.
Connor: For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three, and on that day you will reap it.
Murphy: And we will send you to whatever god you wish.

  6. written by a female..
alot of those are general statements true of most people, some are dead wrong..

    58. When a guy asks you to leave him alone, he's just actually saying, "Please come and listen to me."

no seriously Leave me alone. I don't want to talk about it (right now anyways) and I really don't want your advise (a.k.a. commands). we do this when arguing to find a way thats less offensive then telling you how we really feel.

  7. I'm not talking about cheating I'm talking about making a network of sites linked to each other for ranking.one of the ways google index's sites is by relavance and links. it will help w/ page ranking if every one makes a site w/ good content focusing on top paying keywords in ads. If it where just the members of this forum clicking on each others ads it would be breaking TOS and pretty obvious that the same IP's keep clicking the same ads.the more links the better the page ranking and also more exposure. kinda like signing up for the banner exchange programs which only seem to advertise thier own site. this will just be a community of a few forums of members that we see actively post.

  8. well we've all heard about google adsense and how you can make extra money w/ it.and we've all had emails and pop-ups that say buy my e-book and I'll tell you how to make a fortune.I figure if these people had that much time to make websites emails and pop-ups there must be something to it.and knowing that all the information in there e-books can be found elsewhere on the net I wouldn't pay for the convience. So I began searching and signing up w/ my fake e-mail address to get all the free info on how these systems work. I found lots of ways to make cash online relatively easy but time consuming. If you figure alot of them out the pay per hour wouldn't equal a part time job at Micky D's .google adsense is a legit program that offers ads on your site and pays you everytime someone clicks on the ad. sounds easy right? wrong, you need to take several steps to make this worth while. each ad pay out by what is paid in. so lets say a company buys google adsense advertising their bait shop, they are not a big money making CO. so they pay very little for ads. therefor if you have your adsense ads on a site about fishing and even if people click on your ads you wont make a descent profit on it.on the other hand insurance company and legal offices that have huge cash flows going to advertising pay out more per click. and thats the beautiful thing about it all they have to do is click. no need to buy anything or write a review.now comes the hard part , getting page hits so people can click on your links.every e-book will tell you basically what I just told you but packed w/ links to thier adsense and or affiliate program sites, they also offer banner exchanges to sign up for, the more people that sign up for the banner exchange through your link the more the banner exchange site will send your banner out on other sites.we know google ranks pages by relavant content. so you will need to make a site that is relavant to your ads my site that I just started is (email or PM for link) I started it about a week ago and have already started making money by 1 adsense box. since advertising is the hardest part I propose that we make a google adsense network. meaning that we all have sites linking to each others and all follow the links and click on each others adsense ads.if anyone has an adsense site already I will link to you you link to me.since I only want to make money off your clicks but in return I'm offering you a way to make money off me also,so it balances out. the more people in this network the more profit for everyone.I will be adding a link and banner exchange on my site shortly if people are interested.email or PM me if interested. I wont post links here unless a moderator says its okay.p.s. this is something I'm starting not some affiliate BS or scam I read about at some get rich quick site.

  9. first chech the optimize tab in "window" (1 in crappy pic)

then above your template switch to the optimized tab (2 in crappy pic)

the settings in the pic are what I use for most gifs but depending on what filesize and quility you need you can adjust.

the lossy setting is just that, the higher the number the more you lose. leave that at zero and play w/ the rest.

  10. heres the story

    taken from shoutwire

By Michael Holden Thu Apr 27, 11:20 AM ET
LONDON (Reuters) - To the United States, he is a seriously dangerous man who put the nation's security at risk by committing "the biggest military computer hack of all time."

But Briton Gary McKinnon says he is just an ordinary computer nerd who wanted to find out whether aliens and UFOs exist.

During his two-year quest, McKinnon broke into computers at the
    Pentagon,
NASA and the Johnson Space Center as well as systems used by the U.S. army, navy and air force.

U.S. officials say he caused $700,000 worth of damage and even crippled vital defense systems shortly after the September 11 attacks.

The unemployed computer programmer is now battling extradition to the United States, where, if found guilty, he faces up to 70 years in jail and fines of up to $1.75 million. His lawyer fears he could even be sent to Guantanamo Bay.

It's all a far cry from how he first got into hacking: watching a film about a teenage boy who breaks into a military central computer and almost starts World War Three.

"I had seen the film 'War Games' and I do remember clearly thinking at the time, that's amazing -- a great big military computer system and a young, spotty teenager," the softly spoken 39-year-old told Reuters in an interview.

    "HACKER'S HANDBOOK"

A decade later, McKinnon, armed with information gleaned from the book, "The Hacker's Handbook," began his snooping.

During 2000-1 from his home in Hornsey, north London, and using a computer with just a limited 56K dial-up modem, he turned his sights on the American government and military.

"My main thing was wanting to find out about UFOs and suppressed technology," he said insisting his intention was not to cause damage. "I wanted to ... find out stuff the government wouldn't tell you about."

He said it was easy, despite being only a rank amateur. Using the hacking name "Solo," he discovered that many U.S. top-security systems were using an insecure Microsoft Windows program and had no password protection at all.

"So I got commercially available off-the-shelf software and used them to scan large military networks ... anything I thought might have possible links to UFO information," he said.

    ALIENS?

He said he came across a group called the "Disclosure Project," which had expert testimonies from senior figures who said technology obtained from extra-terrestrials did exist.

One NASA scientist had reported that the Johnson Space Center had a facility where UFOs were airbrushed out of high-resolution satellite images. So, he hacked in.

"I saw what I'm convinced was some kind of satellite or spacecraft but it was manufactured by no means I have ever seen before -- there were no rivets, no seams, it was like one flawless piece of material. And that was above the Earth."

However, his probing came to an end in March 2002, when British police arrested him.

"I was completely obsessed. I was completely addicted. It was like a huge game but I was getting very paranoid," he said.

McKinnon's own story might sound like the plot of a movie, but the charges he faces are deadly serious. He argues he is being made a scapegoat by U.S. authorities to deter other would-be hackers rather than address their own security flaws.

"I'm already being treated as a terrorist," he said. "I appear in an official American army pamphlet ... in a guide to combating terrorism in the 21st century."

The next stage of his legal battle takes place on May 10. But he hints that whatever happens, he has a lot more to tell.

"I can't talk about a lot of stuff that I found. It's just not the right time," he said with a smile.

  11. Talk to her alot, if she brings up this other guy dont change the subject ask her about him, sympathise with her, say how hard it must be for her and that you'll always be there for her no matter what. If she gets upset, cuddle her, not softly hold her tight, especially if she cries, hold her tight and rub her back and tell her how thing are going to be fine.

yep girls always wanna be the one girl that made the gay guy go straight.

just a joke relax, seriously though no one knows this girl or you so all advise is only relative.... to nothing.
she may have only danced w/ you outta pitty.
she may think you're hot as hell and nervous to get involved.
she may like soft guys , she may like bad asses so I wouldn't follow any advise on what girls want they're all different.
sounds like you did the best thing and told her how you felt, and since she responded w/ a lame excuse I(me not you) would move on. you'll always wonder what it would have been like if things where ....
sorry its just rambling now you wont listen to any of us anyways. good luck
