If your idea is use the CPU with his original values i advice you to use the INTEL . If you want to buy cheat processors and then overclock them, amd is better as the allow you to get values wich you must spend much more money to get them with intel processors...

Windows xp was designed to work with intel processors as so amd will not take advantage of this current O.S . Centrino models have low temperatures and his battery life time will be improved due to this.centrino could be a great option if you wanna use a NB for gaming and working at same time.If you wan?t a NB just to play games advice you to buy P4 option instead of centrino or AMD solutions as the performance will not be enought with this two models.

if you don?t saw anything about port forward, check for DMZ servers or virtual servers... in some routers only these options are available and they are same as "port forwarding"....

Verify that you accidently don?t set any MAC address block... on router configuration.Some system restores don?t solve conflit problems so if you have tried everything and the problem persists, and if you don?t have important data on hdd i suggest reinstall windows.In Device manager under wireless card propertis you have other options that could improve wireless signal, check them.Regs.

if you?re installing windows on that hdd, during setup process you must load your drivers(download them from manufactur web site) and install them when the setup requests F6 for raid drive.If you have xp installed on other hdd than this check if your newer hdd is recognised as "unpartitioned space" in -> disk management.go to start -> control panel -> administrative tools -> Computer management -> disk managment. If unpartitioned space exists please create new partition using windows wizzard and solve your problem

KUBI,The best you can make to check it the problem is HW or Software relatede is try to boot yout unit thru the Windows xp cd.... If unit boots means that the DVDRW unit is working fine and the problem is some software you?ve installed. If during boot unit don?t read it could be DVDRW failure.You can also try to change the IDE channels from the HDD to the DVDRW,if unit don?t boot after you maded this change it could be two problems:first IDE channel that its damaged,second could be only a IDE cable problem.update me on this okregs,
