The template is great but you didn't make it. Why would you want people to rate something you downloaded and didn't make? Make one yourself and you might get better reviews. As for signing up, post more details about it so to make the site interesting and tell something unique that you can't get at any other site which would attract more users to your site.

Not everyone has the same style and likes the same thing as YOU. Think about it. Some people are just newbies and see something they can't make and they praise it as me (w/ experience in gfx) I wouldn't like it and I would give my honest opinion.

The board loads really long. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problems? Or is it because the new images take some time to load and the other board they were already stored in my cache?

I wasn't really suprised as it was pretty obvious he was going to win. He is a safer choice from Kerry who changes his mind on what to do which is a bit scarry as one day he wants to go to war and the other he wants peace. Just have somebody unpredictable running the government. Need someone with some leadership skills who can take charge and Bush can take charge.

Nothing really special. You need to work on your text more as it doesn't really blend in whith the whole signature. But keep making signatures and practicing and you will get better .

Well, HTML is really eas to learn and an easy concept. I would say to learn HTML and than learn PHP as some of the HTML will help you out with your PHP learning as PHP is a bit harder. But yeah you should learn both because they kind of go hand in hand with each other and I would advise you to know both of them to be a good webmaster.

Yeah, it's true. For people to reply on this forum it does take quite a long time. I personally think it's because of the way the forum is made. The topics are sometimes hard to find and you don't know where exactly to post your things, the person who organized this board didn't do a really good job I'd have to say. Really? Hotmail has 250 megabytes? When are they offering this? I have a hotmail account and it still has the little 2 mb storage capacity. Did they upgrade the accounts or they just announced this? Or are they offering this to new sign-ups only?

I personally don't like it at all. I think it's really bad, it's not attracting to the eye as you have no graphics. Where is the banner? All you have is just two words and the rest is all white. Add more stuff to make it more interesting and pleasing to look at.

Yeah, they really should. It's really scary, what if you have some sensitive information on your account and the hacker gets your things? But Google said they are looking into it and they will do everything to protect user safety so I guess they should have the problem solved soon .

I store my stuff on photobucket, usually signatures and small images that I will be using on boards, or hotlinking them because Deviant art doesn't allow hotlinking images, but I still use DeviantArt for wallpaper storage and some other big art since you can let people rate your work and post comments on it.

Yeah those are some great icons. Great post again man! But it seems you cannot download the PSD's from the site. When I try to download them I get an error. But you can download the images, nothing much different, just download the jpeg and open it in Photoshop.

Well this topic really interests me too. I see people with signatures that are images and they have a character holding a sign and it says something and it shows your IP address. How do they do that? I would like to make that, except I want to make a custom design with my own graphics.

I actually can't decide between making a portfolio site and have all my artwork to showcase for others to browse around and view, or make a graphics site where people can request custom graphics to be done for them.I had a graphics site before and it closed down due to the sponsor (paid for the servers ) quiting the graphics arena, and I don't work so I don't have much money to spend and buy hosting, so that's why I need free hosting. I already have a name for the new Graphics site, just need hosting and my friend is going to help me out. Not really going to make money off the site because it's just a hobby and I do it for fun.

I really like Invision Power Boards. I think they are the best, a lot of people told me they are more user-friendly than phpBB, and I'd have to agree. The Admin Control Panel, has more features or is much better organized than phpBB Control Panel and I'm also used to IPB, the only set back is that Invision is starting to charge people for IPB boards.Just my two cents .
