Yes I hate it the most. it is a crap in modern context. I instead use opera and firefox browsers. I prefer to use Opera because it gives a complete internet experience, as they claim. Notes, POP-Mail (having direct configuration script for Gmail), searchable history, tabbed browsing, user panel, sidebar, download manager, contact and bookmark manager with awesome simplicity, can you get all these in internet explorer? Not at all we all should dump it in Atlantic or at redmond.

My opinion about all these new forums is that if all 6.4 billion people setup their own forum, what will be the usefulness of it? LIke these days, so many new forums are coming. These not only have fewer visitors but become frustrating for the host/admin. If atm is really interested in creating a scout forum. He must advertise it ewell or have some means to get members. The forum scripts or software that he may use arePunBB, PHBB2, SMF as in the order I prefer to install.

You seem to have a wrong impression about cloning technology as do common men in the world. Aclone need not look like or behave like the original. A persons behaviour or look depends on thousands of other factors, such as upbringing, environment and education. For example, if someone clones Osama, the clone need not turn a terrorist in future if he is educated in US. Second, he will die prematurely. If Osama's age is 55 now and his genes are programmed to go into "programmed cell death" or Apoptosis after 70 years of age, the clone will die natural death after 70-55=15 years.Second example that I can site is cloning a hollywood actor/actress or a famous singer. Their clone need not turn to be flumboyant in time. They may be shy cant sing well if they are not given the growing environment exactly identical to original. I think if you have cPanel access, setting up PHBB2 is few seconds job. You dont really need to upload files. Second, did anyone tried punbb? Its lightweight forum software and still gives most of the features. However, it is be not suitable for bigger bords (with 1000+ members) because its admin panel is not fully featured. But you may add adsense ads after first post using just a small module available to be downloaded from their site.

But let me try to make you understand. If all galaxies, stars, planets and heavenly bodies are moving at a particular pace under the physical forces, how do we supposed to make moves on our own? We are tiny creatures and with respect to massive bodies like galaxies, black holes, we are non existent. So, if we think we are making moves independently on our own will, its false assumption. I agree to sqlbyte that wordpress have got no match in terms of performance vs low resource consumption. It looks elegant and costs nothing. Recently I used content management software Joomla to build my website. This CMS doesn't have a good blog script. The rescue came from wordpress. I installed a module and it got going. everything integrated at a place. with RSS feeds. I am trying cms and live journal features. I hope kawasu may also try one of these. All comes in the cpanel for free. If kawasu had the intention to build a live journal, I think I answered him.

yeah, I agree. I never tried to generalise my statement though. It could be probably as a result of misinterpretation. I told that no religion is bad in its real / unmodified form. But muslim clerics these days are trying to change the meaning and morale of Islam. Be it Indonesia, African nations or Chechenya. In my opinion, the only force that can contain the spread of fIslamic violence and contain saudi ameers from taking hold of global muslim politics, is literacy amongst muslim youth. Do checkin into your cpanel and install Wordpress blog script. You may create a mail account on your own site (yourname@yourname.com). Remember not to post this ID to anyone/spammers. Trap17 usually suffers lots of glitches. As you can see in cpanel when was the server rebooted. Other paid webhosts last for months but free server at Xisto for days at most. So its not surprising to see unlimited space error. btw: We are using free service, so shouldn't expect much of it. Its great still that we r not paying anything for our fun/hobbey sites.

Yep. Its true that clones have same natural age. Chromosome has its ends called telomere. The length of it reduces everytime a cell divides. This is because of a kind of defect in cell replication mechanism. Most of the healthy cells can overcome this defect by invoking a repair mechanism, but as and when human age progresses, the repair mechanism fails and telomere length becomes shortr and shorter. Eventually it leads to what called ageing. Since clone is derived from same donor, the telomere length in father and clone remains same. Therefore, under normal or usual death sequence, theoritically father and clone should die simultaneously. I wanted to convey this fact in earlier post, but it was llittle more scientific.

This isn't that cloning always means creation of a new individual. Cloning technology has got plenty of usefulness. Lets say an example.. A person's liver is damaged sevely due to cirrhosis. It can not be replaced without killing other healthy human. As everyone has only one liver in 'stock' nobody can donate it. What remains in option? Transplantation from other species like chimpanzee. This option is only temporary and the person will survive only for few days or months. His own immune system will start rejecting the transplanted organ saying it of foreign origin. Who comes to rescue in this situation is cloning technology. A small healthy portion of cells from patient's liver can be sliced away by operation and grown in laboratory condition. One of these cells can be fused with an egg from a donor and allowed to multiply quickly. The lump of cells can be quickly transformed into liver using stem cell and tissue culture techniques. (stem cell are capable of developing into any organ or tissue). The liver grown in such way can be transplanted to patient. His body does not reject this piece of tissue, as it contains antigenic protein from his own body (although egg was from a different donor). The patient will survive ultimately. Now here comes the ethics part. Since the new organ is developed in-vitro or in laboratory condition, it can not be regarded as a life-form, even though its origin is an human egg. During menstrual cycle one egg dies every month. Instead of wasting it, it can be used to save one person's life. And as heavensounds said about foetus being killed during abortion and ethics committee doesn't seem to bother about it. It just shows partiality to the new and life saving technology. The false concerns in general public about possible misuses of cloning, is baseless and remains miles ahead in future. Even if Bill gates clones himself, He and His clone will die together in normal death, as telomere length will be same for both individuals. So nobody will get benefitted eventually in such misdeeds. We hould not worry about misuses of a technology much. Computers have been of so much use to humans. There is still fuss about possible taking global control by machines or computers. How Much Do You Sleep And When? A regular night sleep of eight hours a day is important for proper body functioning. Body and mind relaxes during sleep, and so the most used muscle of our body too. Guess which is it? Nopes, you are wrong. Its not heart, but eyes. Guys who thought the right answer should pat themselves. A gland called 'pinial body' (I hope i spelt well, anyways ) secretes two very impostant proteins. named 'per' and 'tim'. 'per' represents for period and 'tim' for time. The concentration of one protein riser and other falls within the pinial body cells in a harmonic fashion. i.e. the exact time when the concentration of both will be equal is 12 hours. This is the basis of body clock. Our body clock decides when should we fall asleep and when to wakeup. It is also harmonized with sunrise and sunset in healthy individuals. When we fall asleep, body hormones levels become different than the active body. Sometimes, in the condition of stress or related, this clock gets disturbed, giving the condition of insomnia. Sometimes we wakeup late night to finish some assignments of during exams. Few days or weeks doesn't affect much. But a regular habit of getting late to bed permanently alters 'per-tim cycle'. So we cant sleep till late night even if we want to. This totally disturbs hormone balance and give rise to a situation of depression, anxiety and various misconcequences. We no longer concentrate on work, and socially we start isolating ourself. This may be a cause of social distraction, break-ups in relations and in short, a devastating situation. Well unicornrose, its good to have a biologist here atlest. As you told about symbiotic theory, you forgot to mention the evidence on which the postulate is based on. Its the ribosomal DNA or in short rDNA. All the species have unique rDNA sequences. Scientists found this fact serendipitously. They tried to sequence rDNA from chloroplast as well as mitochondria. They found it to match more to prokaryotes rather than being originated from their host cell. They also had unique and self-sufficient replication, respiration and food storage mechanisms. It was surprising. After maping the evolutionary tree from the DNA sequence, it was found that these two cellular organnelles were a replica of prokaryotic cells. Therefore, it was 'assumed' (as there is no theory yet to confirm) that the mitochondria or chloroplasts had formed symbiotic relation with blue green algae and in the course of evolution were differentiated into modern eukaryotic cells. They helped algae in respiration and photosynthesis and in turn, algae protected them from invasion of fungi and harmful bacteria by releasing antibiotics. This is not entirely an unique case. In root nodules of plants, nitrogen fixing bacteria follow the same symbiotic relationship. They fix nitrogen for plants using their enzyme system (which plants dont have or not too effective) and in turn take nutrients from cell sap.
