Diablo II is a survivor of RPG games. It's been around and active for about 5 years now. I still like playing it but after 2 years, I think i'm losing touch with it. But it's definetly on my top RPG list.#1 has to be the Elders Scroll series. It's a true RPG game. I don't particularly favor japanese-style RPGs. Except Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profiles. Those two were AMAZING.

Jebus. That's so high, but completely expected. I just saw screens of Tekken 6 for PS3, and it didn't look amazing but of course it was FAR from done. The facial expressions were amazing though. I passed on XBOX360 so I can buy PS3. Hope I'm making a smart move.

I never understood the hype of Runescape. I tried it and it was pretty... ugly. I couldn't get hooked on such a hideous game. MMORPG communities are the worst sometimes. Int@rnet cliches I tell ya...

I remember throwing a tantrum when I was 7 years old because my brother got a toy and I didn't. I really F'd up my room Ha-ha. I was such a baby X-DI totally agree with you, but that's how teenagers are. They'll get over not being able to have sex with a guy they met off myspace. I rarely agree with my parents anymore, it all stopped a few years ago when I started growing up. But not everyone does that unfortunatly.

^ Didn't happen there. And your not really reading what I'm saying. :-\ If it's actual work, I don't mind. But on dumb pointless crossword puzzles just to fill up the day... it's a waste (read carefully, you'll notice that's my complaint :-\ ). And no money was spent by them, they use the papers pre-loaded by the school.

I hate it!My teachers used to copy 800+ papers for dumb one-sided crossword puzzle/coloring assignments. Who the hell does that... oh wait, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY TEACHERS. That's stuff for elementry students. And there was always 500+ copies left. They only needed to copy like... 50-100 sheets.That caused a major paper shortage in the school, teachers had to bring in their own. Serves them right. Stupid bubbleheads. It really ills me when people just scrape a perfectly fine sheet of paper because they made a mistake the size of a quarter. I did that once by mistake and I wanted to give up on life. (jking lol...)

ABC (Another Bittorrent Client)Because it has a simple, elegant interface. And I works just fine. I've always had problems with the other popular ones.

RPG Maker 2003 = P.O.SRPG Maker XP is a HUGE upgrade from 2003. They released an OFFICIAL English version of it, for $60. I say it's worth the money. But if you're looking for something more complex, higher potential and just overall BETTER... I would wait for RPG DS to finish development. It's going to free BUT the programmer is very busy with his personal life. It's been in BETA2 for about... 1.5-2 years? (Correct me if I'm wrong!)

Thanks for bumping this thread :] I missed this one. 5. Ragnarok Online Korean games generally go for the cute appearance and RO hit the jackpot. I never got tired of looking at this game with its beautiful 2D sprites on well-textured 3D background. I didn't get to play this game for long however, I couldn't afford to keep paying monthly. My last character was a L17 Theif. It was really great while it lasted. 4. Silent Hill series Creepy, bizzare and a challenge all-in-one. Silent Hill 2 was one of my favorite ones. No other game has super-cool monsters like SH does. Anyone see the movie? The bubblehead nurses were AMAZING. 3. Valkyrie Profile My all-time favorite jstyle-RPG next to the Star Ocean series. I loved the mythology-based story, and especially the battle system. And this is the only game that has GREAT english voice acting. Japanese-to-English voice translation, 98% of the time SUCK. 2. Dead or Alive series I never really got to play DOA4, but I have owned DOA2+DOA3. I first got hooked onto DOA by only viewing pictures and videos of it, and for two years I followed this game without playing it once. When I finally got to play DOA3, it was an amazing experience. The mutli-tiered levels, super-cool cutscenes, great japanese voice actors, multiple costumes and an addicting storyline made me a fan. Really, I don't give much of a crap if I don't get to play DOA4... I already know the ending to the story! That was satisfying enough. Helena owns you~ 1. Elders Scroll: Oblivion Never played it. I loved Morrowind so I'm putting this as #1. This is a true RPG game. I hear/see that Oblivion is a 20x improvement on the 3rd edition so I'm definetly excited for the day when I finally get to play it. Have to get myself a new PC before doing that. Who else here has this game? Can you tell me about it, compare/contrast Morrowind & Oblivion?

I don't know if this belongs here or in the Life section. Sorry if I'm wrong :[How do you deal with racism, hate or just plain idiots? I often can brush it off, on the outside that is. In the inside, I'm angry and confused to why they would do such a thing. Is it really that enjoyable? Whatever, I don't always let it go though. If it's something that crosses the line or I'm just having an extremely grumpy day, then I confront the person. Fighting is fun anyways.What about you? And how often do you come across this?

Wow! Thanks EVERYONE for such great replies. I've been going through HP's desktop customize walk-throughs and I completely forgot about Dell/Gateway. Average cost for a brand new quality HP was around 1000-1200. I customized a kick-butt computer on Gateway (influenced by everyone's advice here) and it came out to be $800! (I chose Geforce 7300LE 256MB as my graphic card, is that good enough for today's graphic-instense games?) I'm excited~

^Why do you feel the whole world should speak english? It's made by Japanese producers for Japan, who also wanted to release it to America. FYI, they did hire english voice actors for DOA2 but they all really STUNK. They didn't bother to put in english voices for DOA3 and DOA4. English being the most spoken language in the world is not a reason.DOA doesn't have any J-rock tracks. It's all american rock. You sure you know what you're saying? And Tekken 5 has japanese, english, british english, chinese and korean voices... Korean characters like Baek and Hwoarang speak korean, the japanese characters speak japanese and the english players like Steve Fox speak english.

Anyone a fan of DOA? I sure am! Not because I like fighting games but because of the storyline and the characters. I LOVED how DOA4 ended (the final tournament), it was emotional and so fit. The Queen of DOA, obviously Helena, had me when I first played her. I love how my favorite character is the most important in the storyline. She's reserved (and somewhat cold) but has a striking attitude when she's about to fight. Remember the cutscene between her and Kasumi in DOA4? She put a gun to her head and said she's not useful anymore! LOL~ Plus she's beautiful and has a mesmerizing fighting style.

Aww... :'[ Hope it gets better. When I was little, there was a chick who lost its mother and it was wondering around. A lawn mower almost ran over it but I saved it and took it home. Me being little and a big stupid head, I tried to feed it bread by wetting it and shoving it down its throat. It choked and died. I was so upset and guilty. Me being little and a big stupid head, I buried it under 2 mm of sand so it probably got uncovered by the wind and eaten by a racoon. AND, I once tried to recover a bird after it got wounded by my dog's bite. It got bit hard below the wing so it couldn't fly. Sometimes. I wouldn't buy M&M's from a generic company just to save a dollar. But if it was something like a pair of nice shorts, I would. When it comes to gadgets and toys, I do alot of research before going to the store. I hate it when I think I bought the best deal and then I find out there was something better for cheaper!

I want to upgrade my six year old PC with enough power to run a game like Elders Scroll III: Oblivion but I have a few questions. Is it the "same"? Upgrading a PC and just buying a new one? I have an HP 520c (1.4ghz AMD XP 1400+) so it's pretty old. I've been suggested to build my own PC but I don't know how to do that stuff. If I bought new parts and just replaced them, would it be just as good as a brand new bought computer? Should I just learn how to build a PC? I hear it's pretty cheap to do. Please help!- Thanks
