  1. That makes a lot more sense. I don't think Google would ban you with out first investigating...and just out of curiosity, how much money per click do you get?
  2. Thank you! You've managed to get my point across in one post whereas it's taken me 5+ and I still haven't made it...It's hard to get your point across in your second or third language.
  3. What's the difference between not-fully modded and fully modded? I'm not sure I understand...

    Viruses!

I used to have McAfee, but it never worked on my computer...I was never able to delete viruses or store them in the vault, which was kind of annoying. I believe there was one other really amazing anti-virus program that I had that worked extremely well...I'll try and find it.

    Heya

Welcome to the group, PunkGuitar! I look forward to seeing you around here at Xisto!
  6. I have 500 invites left...PM me if you want one.
  7. Animals have tails for assisting in balance and steering, propulsion, grasping, grooming (swatting flies is one example) and for display. Thousands of years ago, the animals we evolved from most likely walked on all four of their feet. However, now that we've evolved, and walk on two feet, there really isn't any need for a tail anymore.
  8. This is a very well-written tutorial...now all we need is a good tutorial on how to install Ikonboard...now that's a mental workout with the instructions the creaters give you.
  9. I'm still not understanding what you're talking about. Religion has nothing to do with oil, and that has nothing to do with getting food. Yet, I still don't see how tourism plays into this...we originally started talking about why you disliked the Muslim religion, and I'm not quite sure where we're at now. Please explain...
  10. I believe it took around 6 months for them to do all of that! Well worth it, in my opinion.
  11. George Bush declared war once...although it was based off of fabricated information, he doesn't declare war "whenever he wants." And in no way am I defending George Bush because I am probably one of his worst fans. George Bush declared war on Iraq, not because they were involved in 9-11, but as to hinder or halt any future terrorist plans that Iraqi extremists were planning. Believe it or not, George W. Bush makes most of his decisions based off of religion. He still declines the right for gays to marry and for women to get abortions; he has also talked about cloning in the past which was a major religious topic to get into. Again, it is their way of life, and I don't understand why you believe it to be so stupid. Through their religious practices, and their devotion to their faith, they will know much more on the spiritual level...which will help them with how they run their lives.
  12. I took this idea from another forum, and I thought it would be interesting to see the types of responses made here at Xisto. The purpose of this post is to tell the community something that you haven't ever told anyone...it can be something you've done, a secret, something just haven't really gotten around to sharing with anyone, fears, etc. Let's keep it clean and respect others' experiences.Something I haven't ever told anyone: I have synesthesia; that's where the senses get mixed up, and certain smells, sounds, tastes, and memories bring about other memories, smells, sounds, tastes, etc. For example, when I listen to music, each note or chord has a certain color. When I write, it is the same with words; each word, section, or phrase has a different color or color combination. When I write, it is like painting a picture...sorta. Everything has to be the right color...it has to sound right, look right, and feel right. Feel free to ask questions.Another thing absolutely no one knows about me is I have recurring dreams with missile sirens in them...and whenever I hear something that resembles a missile siren, it brings about bad feelings and memories. This really can be a cool discussion thread...
  13. Internet ads are annoying, especially the popups that keep returning after you've closed them a million times. A TV ad that I'm really looking forward to though is Honda's Civic...Instead of a normal TV ad, they have gathered a choir of 60 people to immitate the sounds of the Civic: winshield wipers, the car driving on different surfaces, the windows rolling down, etc. It's truly amazing, and I think it's a great ad. Here's the link to watch the commercial and the video on how it was made.
  14. That sounds just about right! Thank you for the warm welcome! Ah, how do you like your English class? OCAC: English is a fairly random language, and in my opinion one of the hardest. As for spelling words, I learned just by trial and error believe it or not. It's mostly memorization and recognition of the spellings, tenses, etc.
  15. Are you speaking from a point of view in Romania? Over in the United States, we don't make decisions based off of religion. However, most practicing Christians are influenced by their way of life. What I'm trying to say is that different religions will present different pros and different cons in each society they're involved in. Money, in my opinion, is not the exact opposite of faith - fact is. In Western Civilization we live with so much money which blinds us with luxury rather than what is right. We would rather live a life of being lazy enriched with material goods rather than a life of poverty enriched with spiritual enlightenment. That is the gap between the two civilations.
