Yeah I played it for a little while with just a a regular controller though. It seems like a good quality music game, but as far as being original I dunno about that. I love music games like DDR, beatmania, etc. but I don't think that they have really changed all that much since the originals and really... maybe they shouldn't change much either.

Dance Dance Revolution Whats the difference? Original, Extreme
wansuen replied to Artanis's topic in Computer Gaming
Well yes there are A LOT of versions od DDR, of just standard DDRs there are i think 8 or 9 versions or "mixes" of DDR in japan plus the slightly off ones like the disney mix and best hits etc. The US (I guess canada and europe too) has fewer versions, I believe there were 2 or 3 on PSX and now 2 on PS2. As far as gameplay, the essence of the game has stayed the same yes, but there have been changes such as the bonus stages and freeze arrows which made a pretty big difference in the gameplay even if it seems simple. The freeze arrows are the arrows that you have to hold down the button for that period of time. I believe it was introduced in the japanese 6th mix. It makes such a difference that sometimes you can just tell if someone started playing before they were introducted because they will play very well until the freeze arrows show up and then they will start missing steps. Yeah the game does repeat some songs, but by no means are the songs the same in each mix. The arcade versions are different because they tend to retain more songs from past versions such as 4th mix plus which had every song from all previous versions ( resulting in a huge selection of songs) Maybe you should just give it a try... oh and don't try to look at both your feet and the screen at the same time... because yeah, that's a way to get tripped up. Just start in the middle of the pad and try to gage where you are and just look at the screen. If you must look down, you should probably stop playing for a few seconds, reorient yourself and then start again. Yeah I've heard of those people that lost weight playing the game, but they did so because they like the game so much and played it so much. It's not as though DDR is a complete and balanced form of exercise (not really necessity to use your arms except for balance). -
Who Is Buying Nintendo Revolution? When it comes...
wansuen replied to izimngcubes15's topic in Computer Gaming
I probably won't buy it until it is pretty old. I bought my N64 only about a year ago and I think I might just buy a gamecube soon also for just a few games that I can't get on my PS2. I think nintendo just needs to have more games for their system that are exclusive and not made by nintendo because I used to be a nintendo fan, but as I get older the appeal of mario and zelda just haven't stuck and I'd much rather play games like final fantasy or god of war. -
Well this is just about my monitor because my computer was simply built by me with parts I bought from newegg. I bought a iiyama lcd monitor, the prolite E431s, from newegg also and after a few months the monitor starting giving me weird lines and shapes on the screen until it just totally stopped working. I tried it with other computers as well so I decided that it didn't work anymore and I called the iiyama support. They didn't ask very many questions and just told me to send the monitor to their repair center. So they took forever and I kept pestering the same support guy and a few months later I got my repairs monitor. So I plugged it back it and it works okay so I decided to update my drivers and I eventually noticed that the videos that were playing were getting distorted so I complained again to the same guy and he just got fed up and sent me a new identical monitor haha. After I got the new moniter I realized that it had the same problem, eventually I then realized that it was actually just my drivers that was causing the problem haha so now I have two identical monitors to use for the price of one. Dual monitors were awesome except I didn't really have the appropriate amount of desk space afterwards so I gave one to my parents.

I also use it mostly for pretty typical things such as gaming, video and image editting just for my own projects and stuff, website building hehe that's why I'm here, and just the necessities to keep my life under control like email, banking, ebay, etc.

To me though I think it would be great for TV series that are release on DVD to be released on something like blue-ray because honestly I am lazy about things like switching disks. I'd much rather be able to just pop in a single disk and be able to watch any episode from a particular season of Scrubs without having to figure out which episodes are on what disc.

Any Good Paid To Surf Programs That Actually Pay
wansuen replied to affhotspot's topic in Business Forum
That's not what they are supposed to be. They are supposed to be just showing you ads, typically banner ads at the top or botton of your web browser. And the idea is that they get paid to show you ads and they pay you a little to watch those ads, but usually these sites and programs are just scams. -
Not only is it hard to make money with the free account, but studiotraffic will not pay you unless you have upgraded your account to 100 dollars. I am not sure if it really requires 100 dollars to get your account to a 100 dollar level, but either way I don't plan on spending a penny on a website like this when they could easily just say that I broke some rule somewhere and take my money.
-
I believe that they start you at a certain rate, something like 5 cents and hour and then you get points for clicks and other things and when you get enough points your account got upgraded to a higher pay per hour rate. But seriously don't bother with them, they aren't going to pay you. There are SO many sites out there just devoted to explaining and saying that surfjunky is a scam... and it is. After searching this forum for a little while is seems that the best way to make money online is just to make a website and try to get good traffic going there and use goggle adsense to get pay per clicks.
-
I had applied for an account and got accepted but then I wanted to switch my website over to Xisto. Is there someone in the adsense options where I tell them where my website is? or is it just okay for me to have the ads on different sites without letting them know where?

I tried search here but i literally couldn't find a thing about Adobe encore. I had used this programs to make a menu system for a personal DVD. Some of the information on the DVD I want to change but I lost the original files that I used. So I was hoping that someone might know how to extract the menus back out of the DVD so that I could change some of the text, etc. even if it isn't using Encore that's fine with me, I just don't know where to look for something like this because most programs just talk about creating menus, not taking them off of another DVD.

Actually it does have other songs than the nintendo songs. Although they may not be "popular" in the sense that you might not recognize them because they are konami songs. -ign.com So, the decision is up to you... honestly if I had a gamecube I would get it, but at the same time I would probably get anything that is DDR haha.

yeah WoW is an incredible game. I had to freeze my account so that I wouldn't waste so much of my time playing it. I think it's actually the the MMORPG with the most subscribers period. Even if the polygon count is kind of low, the style and the way the game is presented is just amazing. I used to play guild wars but once i beat it, it got boring really fast. I have a lvl 25 hunter in WoW btw, so i dunno if it would get boring once i reach 60 as well

Good Old Adventure Games on the good new platforms
wansuen replied to phx777's topic in Computer Gaming
Hehe that game (earthbound) was my first RPG ever. It was really fun at the time but I kind of doubt I would get the same enjoyment out of it now since it has been probably almost 10 years ago. I doubt it was ever ported to the PC by nintendo because... how many nintendo games do u see on the PC? You could probably easily find a copy of it on ebay. You can't have my copy though hah. -
What Gaming Consoles Do You Have reasons why you have them and explain
wansuen replied to Focus's topic in Computer Gaming
I was pretty much a Nintendo fan until I felt I needed to get a PSOne so that I could play ddr haha, that was pretty much my whole reason for getting that system. And I also bought the N64 way late, like in 2005 just so I can play Pokemon Puzzle League (basically Tetris Attack). If you haven't played Pokemon Puzzle League you should give it a try eventhough it does have pokemon in it, it is (at least to me) THE best puzzle game ever and definately one of my top 3 games that I have enjoyed and spent the most time with. -
Have You Read The Rules? TOS, privacy policy, hosting rules...
wansuen replied to googlue's topic in Web Hosting Support
aww, because I was thinking of hosting anime wallpapers... so even if i have a disclaimer that I didn't create any of them I won't be allowed to do this? -
Actually I was able to reach about 100 dollars with surfjunky, but they just simple haven't paid me and that money just sits there. Of course there's no real contact information on their website either.

The Best Way To Make Money I have earned 675? this month
wansuen replied to mimi_hat's topic in Business Forum
Thanks, yeah that really is a lot of money. Would you happen to have a scan or be able to scan a copy of some sort of evidence that you actually got a check from them? I just googled a little and found a nice site saying that it was a scam because they closed his account right when he was able to get paid after 6 months.Has anyone tried spedia.net? -
The Best Way To Make Money I have earned 675? this month
wansuen replied to mimi_hat's topic in Business Forum
Hi I was just wondering how much 675 was in US dollars because I have no idea what currency that is so i can't look it up. -
Yeah seriously, if I was that guy's friend I would have thought that they were trying to kidnap him or something but those two just went with them, not questioning their motifs at all.

Prize Fight haveyou tried the new tournamentish site
wansuen replied to wansuen's topic in Computer Gaming
Yeah that's true, kind of like any other type of gambling except you feel like you have more control over the outcome. I believe they are actually going to add different types of games later as well, but for now they just have CS and Half Life 2:Deathmatch. I've never played HL2: Deathmatch before though. -
Sorry to hear that, hehe what did you do that got you grounded for so long? ... seems as though Xisto grounded u as well. (ur website isn't showing)

Does anyone know approximately when the game will be coming out? I kind of wanted to buy unreal tourn. 2004 because it looks really interesting to me and i need a new game to play, but if it comes out soon i would rather get 2007.
